I just want to take the time to share to our experience thus far with Joey and the team at Bachly who have been brought in to help us rebuild our beloved home. In May of 2018 a huge tree fell on our roof and to make a long story short the contractors hired by our insurance company to fix our roof wound up destroying our entire home and we were all exposed to black mould. We have been in a rental home, 2 actually in the last year and then some. A second contractor was brought in by insurance due to the damage done to our home who again wound up doing more damage, he flooded our basement so our entire home is now a shell. There have been lies, delays of well over a year, my children are both ill, contents destroyed and more heartbreak than I can begin to explain. We lost faith and ultimately felt we could never trust another contractor nor would we ever go home again, that was until we met Joey at our home in I believe November. We had finally met someone who seemed honest and here for us and our best needs. Along the way we have learned he IS honest, every timeline he has given has been met, every request has been answered immediately any time of the day and picks up the phone whenever I have called, he has been honest about pricing and options and what is best for us in this rebuild, he was honest and fought hard for what we deserved in our scope for insurance and did so faster then the contractor from insurance without any missing items he was asked to adjust or include. He helped us to arrange for testing since our home had not been properly checked since being vacant for over a year and more than anything he has been patient with us knowing we are at the mercy of insurance. Joey never had any guarantee we would go with Bachly, just our word but he still treated us with respect and honesty. Last week we were finally able to tell him we are ready to honour our promise and sign a contract and scope of work to have Bachly rebuild our broken home and know that finally we will be safe and never experience anything we have in the last 2 years. The team we have started working with in the last 3 weeks including our project manager Mark and everyone along the way has been proactive and provided everything we need to complete the job as soon as possible while also being upfront to expect delays which we already had anticipated. They have been supportive and kind and extremely helpful to us having never done a renovation before. After over 2 years of waiting, to go home to safe and beautiful home as it once is worth that wait. Joey and team told us we could be starting in about 2 weeks provided we have the permits and drawings we think we have from insurance! This brought more joy to us then I can explain. we were able to select trims, doors and casing (I got schooled on what casing is, yessssssss!), I can't tell you how exciting it was to feel this small step forward! We are finally going to be signing with Bachly for the rebuild of our home and starting very soon as it looks!!!!!!! I cannot thank Joey, Mark, Alyssa and Bachly for being not the cheapest but the smartest and most honest company we could have asked for. This is our forever home and anything less than the best and safest just wouldn't be ok with us. Once again, thank you for being our light when we have only seen darkness, our hope when we thought it had been lost and the first feeling of trust in over 2 years of one of the worst experiences in our lives. We are lucky. Your Team is truly amazing!!!!!! Thank you again.

Our home was completely gutted by fire in Nov 2019. All that remained were 2 exterior walls and our roof. Our insurance company solicited bids for a complete restoration and fortunately for us, Bachly won. Considering it was such a stressful experience (plus COVID), it was a pleasure to have Bachly on our side. Our team consisted of Mike Dawe (Estimator), Mark Gardonio (Project Manager), Keegan Koo and Emilio Dirocie (Project Manager Assistants). Prior to this, we had no knowledge of home construction and now we have a much better understanding of all its complexities. Throughout the whole process, we felt very informed and learned so much from the team. We were never left in the dark. There isn't one aspect of our home that we were not walked through or talked through. We have finally moved back home and it has exceeded our expectations! Bachly made our vision a beautiful and functional reality. We would not hesitate to recommend them!

Oakville is a small town and I am very familiar with all of the homes that Bachly Construction has built. We had a large house fire and had to do a rebuild. We decided this was the time to put a large addition onto our home as well. We worked with Bachly for all of this work and they are amazing. Very organized and professional and have been so helpful every step of the way. Especially when dealing with our fire and what was able to be saved it was very well cleaned, organized and packed nicely. Emails and calls with questions or concerns were answered right away and they were in constant contact. Any and all worries were addressed and my mind was always at ease afterwards. They made the whole process much easier The trades that they used for certain areas were great and Mik (our project co-ordinator) was awesome for setting all those meetings and making sure I stay on top of my end. I would absolutely use them again and refer them to all friends and family.
