We recently had a comprehensive HVAC installation completed by A1 and we could not be happier with the result. Daniel, the sales rep, was both professional and personable, and very informative as he explained the various components and benefits of the multiple parts of the HVAC system. As well, he did not engage in any aggressive sales tactics as my wife and I contemplated this purchase over several weeks and he regularly checked in to find out if we had any questions. We ended up buying a furnace, air conditioner, humidifier, smart thermostat, Merv 14 filter, UV-C lamp, HEPA 400 filter, ERV, and tankless water heater, thanks in large part to Daniel patiently answering our multiple questions. Once we made our decision to move forward, Daniel was able to schedule our installation to start within 48 hours. The excellent customer service continued with the amazing installation team of Ryan, Brian, and Ryan. They were professional, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and regularly checked in with us to ask if we had any questions during the 18 hours that they spent in our home over the two day installation. Once the installation was done, Ryan spent over an hour with us reviewing each piece of equipment in detail and gave us a full tutorial about the smart thermostat. On a related note, Robert, one of A1's technicians, has completed annual maintenance on our HVAC system for many years and he too has always been professional and personable. I highly recommend A1 for all of your HVAC needs.

Teo is meticulous and attentive to the details and kept us informed of progress. The work area is always left clean after the job is completed. Where customer service still lives - I have dealt with A1 for over 32 years and have found them to be truly customer focussed. Our furnace was having issues when I tried to start it for the season on Saturday. Not an emergency at this time of year so I left them a note via e-mail asking for someone to contact me on Monday to arrange a service call. I was contacted shortly thereafter with a commitment that the service team would contact me Monday am. I received a call first thing Monday and a follow up call about 1/2 hour later. We purchased a complete Genius brand heating and A/C system, which was installed at the end of March. Few days after I noticed that the humidifier was not working. We called the service and the tech told us it was improperly connected. In May at the first heat wave I went to turn on the A/C and it would not work. The tech arrived next day and said there was a bad connection. How do you install a system without checking to see if the unit has power. When I complained to service manager I was told they will provide some compensation. Until now which is mid Aug I have not heard anything from A-1.

I chose A1 over 3 competitors. I was replacing an outdoor all in one Heating & Cooling unit at my 95 yr old father's townhouse. The unit is light industrial which creates some confusion when a regular residential HVAC rep shows up. When A1 showed up the Rep brought in their industrial specialist who came by within two hours. Mike new exactly what was needed and generated a competitive quote by end of day. Mike was easy to get hold of, the work was done the day he said. The crew left the jobsite nice and clean. If you are looking for a company that is competitively priced, responsive and does what they say they are going to do I would suggest checking out A1. I had to replace the filter on the unit and it wasn't your regular box filter. I dropped by the A1 office and picked up the filter pad. While I was there I spoke to Mike and asked him how the replacement was done. He mentioned it was a little tricky and agreed to meet me there and show me how to install it. We meet a couple of days later at my father's house and installed the filter. Mike did it at no charge! Now that is customer service. Thank you A1.
