Maxwell did an incredible job, on time, on budget. We were totally unprepared for the renovation and Max walked us through the process, provided an accurate quote with options, and then executed as promised. He was always available during the reno so we always had the information we needed. We could not be more pleased with the result! Maxwell developments installed an engineer designed and signed off skylight, removed our chimney, patched the roof, refinished our floors, rebuilt the basement bathroom, installed new floors in the basement, updated all the plumbing and drywalled our laundry room, built new shelving and storage, put new doors on our kitchen cabinets, installed new lighting through both floors, brought our fire detectors up to code, and installed a new wall furnace. All impeccably well done.

Following an extremely negative experience with a previous contractor who abandoned our project incomplete and without proper permitting, we contracted Maxwell Developments to convert our attic into a fully functioning second floor living space including dormer windows. We found Max to be extremely pleasant and efficient to deal with. He very competently set all of our permitting challenges in order. He was professional, open and honest at every turn and was altogether a refreshing change from our previous contractor. His team were all courteous and meticulous in their conduct and work. They brought creative, cost-effective solutions to the project. All of the work was completed in a timely manner to the satisfaction of both my spouse and I. We also used Maxwell Developments to complete numerous smaller projects - both interior and exterior - in order to update and improve the aesthetics of our home. Again, everything was completed timely and on budget and the entire team worked patiently to incorporate our evolving needs. At all times - both inside and out of our home - the construction site was kept as clean and orderly as possible so that we could continue to function as a family. This was important to both ourselves and to our neighbors and the Maxwell developments team maintained the site in exemplary condition.
