We designed a downsizing age-in-place home and Amity built it. It was in a neighbourhood that hadn't seen any development since the '50s but Dusty and his crew won the neighbours over with his courtesy and accommodating manner. We had some specific wants for the project and he helped us to find the middle road between what we dreamed of and what we could actually afford. That included special features like a outdoor sleeping area and an indoor-outdoor feeling to the kitchen-dining area. The quality of work and west coast feel is often commented on by visitors. I recommend this contractor to friends.

We had a problem with our house and Dusty and his crew were contacted to do the repairs. It was a multi phase process but Dusty was on top of it. I'm sure some would consider it a minor fix but Dusty always made me feel like it as a priority. He and his crew were very kind, professional and respectful. I had other things I wanted to add to my house that required an electrician and smart home expertise and he offered recommendations. These people were also great and it's very clear that he surrounds himself with the best.

They seemed like a nice builder...building a house on my street...until I asked the owner Dusty about parking their vehicles on neighbors lawns in what is a wet time of year...his response was to yell at me that he didn't care what I thought...while he and his partner laughed at me...I guess their not such a nice builder

We hired Amity to complete a renovation of our front entrance which turned into a much larger project involving revamping and upgrading all areas of the house inside and out. We don't live full time in Victoria and needed someone we could trust while we were not on site. Dusty and his staff were at the house everyday and he provided daily communication as to the progress of the project. Dusty's staff and contractors were polite and professional. It was a pleasure to work with Amity and I would highly recommend the company to anyone considering building or renovating.

This is a company that cares about their clients! We bought a beautiful old house that needed some pretty extensive renovations to bring it up to code and make it livable for our growing family. We had a baby due so time was a factor. Despite the tight timeline Dusty and his team worked tirelessly to get it done in time for our son’s arrival. At every stage of the process they made it easy with great communication honest assessments and good advice throughout. They managed the permits, oversaw the sub contractors work and kept the stress to an absolute minimum. The job was done within a few weeks of the birth and they kept to our budget.
