I just got passed on the Forrest Hills connector by one of the Safety First trucks. I was doing 100km/hour and they flew past me at the merge, to get ahead of me. At the lights (when we were both stopped BTW) I managed to catch the name of the company. What a terrible way to represent a traffic safety company!

I see this company regularly in the Annapolis Valley as a flagging company and they do a terrible job. They often do not have correct signage or any warning that there is construction or flaggers ahead. I have been yelled at or spoken to rudely by flaggers for this company more than once, including today when they got upset that there was cars in their traffic zone (that was open to traffic), that was not adequately signed as a construction or flagging zone whatsoever, on a blind corner. They often do not take traffic into consideration in the ways they should. Just frustrating every single time I'm stopped by this company in a construction zone.

Had them provide some traffic control for my crew. They were very professional and did a fantastic job. On time, very easy to talk to and got the job done safely.

Poor pedestrian safety measures. Sidewalk closure signs are often placed where it is unsafe to cross, where alternative locations are clearly available to place them.

I use to work there. The boss is nice for power. But overall absolute. Frontline. Mccloud's. Will pay you better. I don't know what happens they can't give me full time hours. Just stay away. Hopefully the fix things up I'm just sayin I had a bad go

I work as a Job developer with a local employment organization. Safety First has provided training and job opportunities for youth participants from my employment programs. Safety-First hiring and operation managers have also attended the Inclusivity and Diversity training that my organization offers employers. They've taken great interest in becoming a community-supportive employer, and their support for our organization has been appreciated.
