Great service on a heat pump install and cleaning 3 years later

I got a 19 series Ductless Diakin unit installed by Ready Refrigeration. The product they sell has the best warranty on the market, and the techs who installed it were some of the best i have ever dealt with. Also the price was hands down the best i could find in HRM. 5 stars Overall for those 3 things. 0 stars for the sales staff i cant say to much about them, wasn't a good experience overall.. never even came to my house to do a proper in home assessment and it felt like i had to chase them constantly for a sale and install appointment, i never got a call or text back i always had to call or Text the sales rep who said he would get back to me but days would go by and wouldn't get any answer. Had to repeatedly call office and look for answers.. I also had to schedule my own install appointment with the service manager.. whats the point of the salesman. Daikin products are some of the best on the market (i did months of research) and that`s the only reason i picked Ready Refrigeration. When i get a second heat pump installed in my basement i will look for another dealer based off my experience with the sales staff and difficulty with communication.

Poor level of service. They did not deliver the remote for one of the units. They left a lot debris after their installation without fixing the insulation they damaged. They do not follow what they agreed on and doing what they feels like. We planned to install the heat pump breaker in the main level electrical panel but they installed the breaker in the basement. Their schedule is very inaccurate. They scheduled to finish the basement unit installation after three weeks for 8am to 9am, they arrived at 8:45 and about 10:30 they remembered they have forgotten a module and had to go back to head office to pickup. They came back without notice at 11:30 to complete their work. Had I known them, I would never have hired them.

Had amazing experience getting Heat Pumps installed at my place from Ready Refrigeration, right from the beginning of deal till system got installed and even taken care on registering products for warranty with Daikin. The owner “Brett” and sales person (Peter) had taken good care of work personally and answering all the queries patiently even late nights and weekends. Tim and McKenzie (technicians-installers) did amazing Installation work, it was very clean and smooth process. Lastly Amanda (sales coordinator) and Jena (service coordinator) handled all paper works/invoicing properly and scheduling team for the project and were very quick on responding emails. I would definitely encourage to hire Ready Refrigeration for Heat Pumps installation work at house or office, you can trust on their skills, experience, integrity and honesty.

We had two heat pumps installed by Ready in August. After the installation we had a fairly critical question about power consumption (our power bill went dramatically up by more than $100 when we had not even turned the heat pumps on). I emailed the only two contacts we had at Ready (salesman Graham Harris and Amanda MacDonald), but neither one responded at all. The impression we are left with is that Ready Refrigeration is very responsive until they have your money, and then completely unresponsive after being paid. Thankully we can get our equipment serviced at another Daikin dealer here in HRM.

I had a heat pump installed a few years ago - the best one you can get with the best warranty. It just blew a condensor, and the damage from the ice buildup was enough that the technician is recommending replacing the entire unit. Wow. That's not a good sign - 12 year warranty, but it blew itself up in only 3.5 years. Thank goodness for the warranty. Ready Refrigeration sent out a tech, assessed the problem, ordered the new part, and dealt with the warranty stuff. When the part came in they called and scheduled the repair for the following morning. Unfortunately, it was snowing in the morning, and they can't do this job in the snow, so they piicked up the entire unit and took it back to their shop to repair. That's 5 Star service. Thank you.

When we installed our two heat pump no one tell us that if something happens with them we have too pay each time $149 +tax for diagnostic and also we just find this morning tha warranty is not cover all parts. Now we need to contact lawyer. Be extremely careful when you hire this company.

A first class experience from start to finish with Erica in the office and Adam in the field … simple sensor issue on the heat pump that was going to take weeks for anyone else to look at but Adam was able to visit within a day or two, ordered the required part and returned and finished the job while I was at work (he even put a temporary fix in for us so the heat pump kept on working throughout). Erica was super responsive with emails and texts and coordinated everything from start to final billing. A minor typo in the invoice resulted in a overcharge that was refunded the same day by email transfer with no hassle or delay after a simple text from me. For me, that was just as important as anything else I have written here - knowing quality customer service extends beyond the final payment being made which other companies should learn from.

I just want to let everyone know I called this company called Ready refrigeration to do service one of my pizza table It was leak on the unit and he tried to fix the pipe with tape and did not work Just remember what kind of technicians they have And what kind of company they are !And I called them back to come to fix they said they cannot do it she sad we are too busy ! they told me at least two weeks ! fortunately I need the table to fixed And I have called somebody else Just remember nobody will be happy with them so I’m very disappointed even with the customer service She said sorry we are too busy nothing we can do! And they send me the bill for half an hour over $300

I wanted to pass along my sincere thanks for the great work that the team at Ready Refrigeration did with the installation of my ductless heat pumps in January 2021. The team arrived before 9am and worked diligently throughout the day until past 5:30pm to get everything installed, and I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the work. The team was friendly and professional throughout the process and I felt completely comfortable with them in my home. They took the time to explain the process and answered my questions as the work progressed. The foreman took the time to review all the features of the heat pumps and set-up in each room, and the team assisted me to move my furniture items back into place once they had completed the work. Everything was clean and ready to go when they finished. In addition, I wanted to add that the sales rep who initially visited was equally professional and helpful. Of all the contractors who came to provide estimates, he appeared to understand most fully what was needed, and what was not needed. For example, other companies tried to sell me a pony panel for my electric system which was not needed, as there was already a switch available for the heat pump system. I felt his insight into how best to proceed was clear and made the most sense given the set-up of my home, which gave me confidence in choosing to proceed with services from Ready Refrigeration. I will be recommending Ready Refrigeration to anyone looking to have heat pumps installed in their home, both for the quality of their service and the products they offer.

With the recent hot summer that we just experienced we were thinking about getting a heat pump. We were thinking about attaching one to our existing ducted oil fired forced hot air system. Upon our consultation with Brett from Ready Refrigeration it was determined that due to the age of our furnace the Daikin Fit was suggested as the way to go. We decided on the Daikin Fit with the add on electric element for the coldest of days. The unit comes with The Daikin One Smart Thermostat. Which is great and allows us to monitor our at home temperature and control it from our phone. It was a very busy two days with lots of coordination by Ready Refrigeration. We arranged for our oil fired furnace and hot water tank to be removed and they handled the rest. It included our new hot water tank and all the electrical, plumbing and HVAC work needed to install our new unit. It all went well and the technicians/trades people were knowledgeable, friendly and all worked well together. It has been a learning curve for us and our new system but we have been enjoying the warmth and the vast improvement of the air movement in our home. We had lots of questions before, during and after the install. We were always answered in a timely manner and no question was too small. Although the installer had neglected to register the warranty with Daiken, I provided the receipt to Jena and she was able to register the unit and have the parts covered under warranty.
