It is my pleasure to write this review. The quality of work done was top notch. The workers were conscientious about following the product specifications. The most impressive element was the preparation. It was amazing of the amount of wooden framework that had to be constructed. Tons of wood. This had to be done before installing the glycol heating system, then pouring of the raw concrete and colouring. The workmen were always courteous, respectful and professional. Their pride in their work was evident. It was obvious that Joe’s and Connie’s knowledge and experience in all aspects of the project. They were closely involved from start to finish. Familiarity with building codes and dealing with City Hall facilitated a smooth and hassle free process. There was a clear breakdown of costs for each facet of the project. In closing, I am very pleased with the final product, and after 1 winter there are no cracks in the concrete. This past winter there was no need for any snow clearing activities. It all melted away . What a relief !!!

Thinking of hiring Patterned Concrete! One word -DON'T! Based on the reputation of Patterned Concrete (PC), I decided to hire them for my landscaping project but it was a big mistake. I never thought that my experience was going to be this bad and frustrating. For my project, the scope of work was clearly discussed with the PC salesperson and accordingly, she quoted me a price which looked affordable and I thought to proceed. I was advised to pay $1,000 upfront to create a drawing for the project with a promise that the drawing cost will be reduced from the final invoice. Considering the company's reputation/ salesperson assurance/confirmation for the written quotation and my capacity to afford, I paid for the drawing. The drawing was promised to be delivered within a week's time. However, it took more than 3 weeks to even have a rough sketch. Even after making repeated requests, and 4 weeks later, we have still not received a Final 3D drawing for the project. The corporation which calls itself "The Experts, Award Winning Specialists"!) has been giving all sort of excuses for this delay- backlog, "computer" crash, request for personal priorities. It has been a full time job for me to get their attention and support to sit together and finalize the sketch and then set a schedule to start the job. But my misery does not end here…4 weeks in, their updated quotation (that also based on a rough sketch) arrived with a big shock and surprise as it now includes a significant price increase from the last quote provided even when the area to be served has been reduced: a) the area reduced by 41.4% but the quote is up by 30.5% b) the area reduced by 11.5% but the quote is up by 53.7%. These are significantly different than the original quote and definitely, way beyond my budget. It appears that salesperson misrepresented and misled me to pay for something that was not feasible. The $1,000 paid is going to be a waste because the significant price increase is neither acceptable nor affordable. PC drawing that has not yet been delivered is a complete waste as most landscaping companies provide drawing without any upfront charge. Thanks to google review, PC refunded $1,000 on June 26, 2019.

Wow, there is no other way to do stamped concrete other than "The Original" Patterned Concrete. My parents had their driveway done when I was around 5 and 10+ years later it still looks brand new. I am definitely going with Patterned Concrete when I get my own house.

From start to end, Connie took care of all details and has never let me down. All in all, the experience was an amazing one; her team transformed the exterior of my home into the House of My Dreams. Not inexpensive - but it is well worth the money at the end of the day. I look forward to not shovelling snow ever again lol! FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! We had our full driveway done along with some extra work in our backyard. The end result was spectacular. Our house has taken on a new refreshing look and has added tremendous value to our home. We had our new driveway heated and it’s just amazing that I no longer need my shovel. I look forward now for large snowfalls. Joe was incredible to work with and he had great ideas for us. I would definitely recommend Pattern Concrete to all my family and friends. The origin series is what we got and was impressed by the variety of textures and patterns. Connie Giacomuzzi, Joe and the entire Team! We had our porch rebuilt, our driveway, sides of house and backyard done by this company going on our second year now. I have also reviewed them on HomeStars. It is very simple....if you want the very best (oh yes there are so many companies out there these days promising the stars and the moon at a discount price) in pattern concrete work, call Connie! If you want A+ customer service start to finish, call Connie! If you never want to worry about the work done years later, call Connie! Do not count your pennies here, they are a bit costly but they are worth every single dollar spent. I have neighbours who come to stand in front of our home just to admire the amazing work that has been done. Each year, once winter is behind us Connie sends a team over to look at the concrete and ensure its integrity. If I have a question, she is on my speed dial and responds quickly and honestly. The owner, Joe, there are no words. He treated our home as if it were his own and came to do a private visit before a shovel even touched the ground. It was as if we were the only customers he had. Joe, Connie, you have in us customers for life.
