Daryl and his team were nothing but wonderful to work with. They went above and beyond and made sure we were happy. They worked with me creatively to capture the overall design I was hoping for and did it all very quickly too! Luckily Daryl snuck us in so our yard was done for our wedding. Everything looked amazing and the best part was the next morning when the wedding was all over we had this amazing outdoor living space. We have enjoyed our yard every single day since! Highly recommend.

My neighbour hired this contractor to build their front and back yard landscape so I got involved with them as we were repaving our shared driveway. The asphalt was completed and not graded properly, which created an area that directed water towards one of my basement windows. Not good. They also damaged my existing driveway by driving their machines over it without my permission. I withheld payment to ensure that my issues were rectified satisfactorily. Eventually the site foreman (he never gave me a name) came to my house to talk about my issues and this conversation quickly devolved into him yelling at me and accusing me of trying to get out of paying. I am a Landscape Architect by trade so deal with landscape contractors on a daily basis and have never in my career been treated with such contempt. Eventually, the angry man stopped shouting and we were than able to speak about a remedy to my issues. I proposed a reduced payment to settle the dispute, so that I could use the money to fix their mistakes, which the angry man accepted. He did not make any proposals beyond telling me I was wrong and demanding full payment. Not a fun experience. Would not recommend you use this contractor.

I had a very good experience with M.E. Contracting. Tomer was responsible for building a cedar gate and fence, as well as putting in new custom stairs for my basement entrance. All the work was done professionally and quickly. I had a few issues with the stairs, but they came by and remedied everything quickly. I would recommend them and use them again when I need to redo the deck.

It all starts with Eitan and Keren the owners but trickles down to the wonderful crews they have, Brenda the receptionist and not to mention the amazing landscaping showroom with a real indoor pool inside and hundreds of samples, BBQ's and other materials. When it comes to the actual construction and work, these guys kick serious a$$ too. always aiming to out satisfy their clients and produce an excellent product!

I contacted the company to get a quote for fence work through Homestars. I received an email from Ola (no position provided) from the tone of her email, the company is not interested in doing "small jobs" unless those jobs START at a MINIMUM of $15,000. I have to wonder about a company that puts in a MINIMUM dollar amount for any project. It would be interesting to know the cost/sqft that this company charges. The company's main work is in hard landscaping, will only do soft landscaping if it's in conjunction with hard landscaping. In any event, the company has lost not only this current project but also any future work. **See response below from the company. If I could I would change the review from 1 to zero.

So far so good! I had to write this review even when the work is still being done but from what we see these guys are the real deal. Professional and focused on getting us the best product for what we pay. I also wanted to comment on their foreman Simon, this guy is awesome. Works real hard and very good with communicating the work, making sure the site is clean, the neighbours don’t complain etc. I will update this review later but so far, so good.

we hired m.e contracting through friends that hired them before. I think the project was pretty simple and straight forward as it included ripping out our driveway and installing new interlocking driveway instead as well as adding some landscaping design we wanted such as arbor stones, trees and new grass. The landscaping project went very well, Eitan the owner and his wife Keren know how to provide quality customer service and it works well. all in all, a good landscaping company.

My experience with this company was wonderful from beginning to finish. It began with my meeting with my salesman, Daryl. He was on time, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and prompt to reply to all my queries. After deliberating about what I wanted, I was finally scheduled to begin mid July and 4 days later I had a new retaining wall against my driveway and a new cobblestone backyard patio. The crew was beyond professional. I was so pleased with their advice and attention to detail. They were tidy too. The grass seed they used to repair a strip of my lawn must have been on steroids because it is already lush and green less than a week later. I will be using this company soon for a new driveway. Great experience, great staff! I am thrilled with the result.

We hired m.e contracting to replace our deck and do some landscaping and I must say that they did a great job on everything. they had 1 crew for the demolition of the old deck while the others are using their machines to excavate and prepare for landscaping. the whole project took just over a week and was a well choreographed project. I thought this was very professional and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a landscaping and decking company

My husband and I hired M.E. Contracting to completely re-do our backyard. They removed our 45-year-old pool and replaced it with a beautiful new fiberglass one. The rotting deck was also removed. They built a retaining wall and leveled our property for us which now gives us a larger backyard. They also demolished our old shed and built a new one. The space was finished off with beautiful stones and garden beds. We are extremely excited to use our new backyard this summer. Our backyard was a huge eye sore and now we feel it will be the gem of our property. Hiring M.E. Contracting was the one of the best decisions we ever made. With such a huge project, there are so many areas where things could go wrong. We always felt in great hands. Daryl was our project leader, and he was fantastic. Any questions we had were answered in a timely manner. If there was something we did not understand, Daryl always explained things clearly. All the team members that were working on our property were wonderful, professional and personable. From Blake and his team to Freddy and Dean and all the other wonderful men whose names escape me. This was a huge project for us, and we are so happy we had the project done by such a reputable company. We never ever lose any sleep worrying about the backyard or if things were done properly. There is value in peace of mind that things are done properly, professionally and to code. I know if there are any issues in the future with the project, all we would need to do is call and it would be taken care of. We HIGHLY recommend M.E.
