Mark is the best! He has worked for us 4 times now - when we had a problem with our furnace , air conditioner, switch box? (I don't know the correct name for the box hanging on the outer wall of the house that controls the electricity coming into the house) and the water heater. He was the only specialist who could find the problem. The first time we worked with him about a year ago, when our furnace stopped working and responding to the thermostat. We had two technicians come to check it out, neither of them could tell what the problem was, but still charged for the consultation! In the end, we found Mark on Google, and as I said, he was the only person who was able to identify the problem and fix it. The same thing happened to our air conditioner in the summer and then to our water heater 2 days ago. There was an emergency with the switch box, it burned out and needed to be replaced urgently. Mark came right away, prioritizing us, because we were sitting without electricity, so no heater, light, internet, etc. in the house. So now Mark is our first point of contact when something happens. I would definitely recommend him!

Great service but had to dock a point due to poor invoicing. One simple repair that came out to just above $200 afforded us a 51-page mostly blank invoice made out to the wrong company name. After repeated attempts requesting a revised invoice, we are ignored. It is not a big deal but indicates poor customer care after receiving full payment.

Our boiler heating system, more than 20 years old, broke on Friday night. we called a few companies, including Mark from HouseDepot. His price was lowest. He and his crew installed a Noritz combi boiler. on Saturday morning and provided us with the heat by that night. We had an emergency situation with our gas, meaning we had no heat and no hot water in the middle of December because Enbridge shut off our main gas due to gas leak and left us a (WARNING TAG). We were unable to find a contractor to come visit to resolve the situation for us in a time frame that didn't involve us sitting in the cold with no hot water for few days. We called Mark of HouseDepot on a Sunday and he showed up at our door 2-3 hrs later and promptly fixed everything up to the point where we were able to turn our gas again. Mark was easy to deal with, professional and most importantly had the ability and the willingness to deal with our situation even though it was a Sunday afternoon. His prices are reasonable and we would not hesitate to call him again if the need arises.

Mark responded to my request for service on Homestars. He was able to come very quickly, which was appreciated since our baseboard heaters weren't working in winter. He replaced 2 thermostats and a faulty outlet. He provided professional advice on our heating system. Called HouseDepot because my AC was not working. Turned out the old furnace had stopped blowing air. I got the option to replace the fan or install a new furnace. Our old furnace was not so great so I went with a new furnace. Mark brought the unit, installed it quickly and easily and removed the old unit. The technicians were friendly and capable. I would definitely call them for any HVAC or electrical issues. I couldn't be happier.

After just moving in to a new house, we hired house depot to address a number of electrical needs that were outlined on our house inspectors report that needed. Mark and his team checked our aluminum wiring to insure outlets were working properly, they changed outlets that were not up to date, moved outlets to a better location and found outlets that were not up to code. They offered us their advice for updates without being pushy and evaluated our air conditioner for free after all the work they did. If that wasn’t enough, while they were working we discovered we had a gas leak in our pool heater. The house depot team fixed our gas leak issue immediately and left us feeling at ease about all the parts of our new mhome that required attention.

I hired this guy Mehrdad (goes with Mark) to do all electrical for finishing my basement in my new house; he worked ok for first few days then suddenly flipped when he got paid (my mistake I paid him 90% of the work); he showed up for an hour while I am not at the house (he had access via lock box) and stole my brand new Rinnai tankless water heater (RU 98) and 5 boxes of 4" potlights (each had 6) and all electric fixtures. Basically he cleaned the house of everything ($3000 worth). I called the police but they said since you gave him access to the lock box it cannot be considered theft. Off course he is not returning my calls and I still reported him to ESA to suspend his license and more actions underway.

I must say all the 10 stars reviews you can find about this business are fake and the business itself is fake. Just check the address of his so called "office". This person is also a thief and must be avoided at all costs. The technician in my case was called to disconnect the AC unit and move it away from the wall in order to do the nessessary repairs to the exterior wall. It is a very easy job for the licenced professional. For $200 he cut the gas pipe and disconnexted the AC. After his visit the furnace stopped working properly and wouldn't heat. I never had a problem with the furnace and AC since i bought them 2 years ago. I contacted this house depot guy again and told him what happened. He was very reluctant to come back to fix the issue, especially when i emphasized that the furnace wouldn't heat after his visit. Nevertheless, I asked him to come and check it. Reluctantly, he agreed to come. When he came I asked him to check everything outside where he was working earlier disconnecting the AC unit. He refused angrily and said it's not the reason the furnace doesn't work. He started disconnecting all the wires on the thermostat then went downstairs and started disconnecting all the wires inside my furnace. While he was doing that he kept complaining that everything was done wrong in my home and the furnace was installed in some illegal way. I told him that the furnace was installed by Direct Energy and ESA came to check everything once it was installed and i never had any problems untill he came earlier to disconnect the AC. He then asked about my nationality and then was mumbleding something about russians (I am Russian). Again, i told him that the problem must be somewhere where he did the job earlier, outside of the house. The furnace always worked fine untill his visit. He got angry and said he's leaving and demanded his pay. I told him there's nothing to pay for. All i had at that moment was the thermostat and the furnace with most wires disconnected, -10 C outside, 11 pm and the technician that was supposed to fix it saying he's leaving. I told him to get out. While he was packing his instrument he attempted to steal the flashlight and the hat that were on the table together with his instruments. When i stopped him he just mumbled something like "oh sorry". Next day i called another technician that was recommended by my friend. He connected all the wires back. He asked me: "Why would he disconnect all the wires?? Why dissassemble the thermostat??" He quickly found that the pressure checker was acting up and it didnt let the furnace heat. We went outside and found that the exhaust vent wasn't in a downflow position. As a result the water didn't go down the drain and accumulated inside the pipe. This caused the pressure checker to act up and stop furnace from heating. We positioned the exhaust vent in a downflow position and the furnace works perfectly now as it always did. Well. How the exhaust vent got moved is a mystery and why would the house depot guy even touch it? No one else ever touched it since it was installed. Nevertheless, it was such an easy fix. The visit of the house depot guy (when he came second time) has been video recorded.

I cannot recommend this company to other customers. I had to hire another company to complete the job. They refused to come back to my house to complete the project unless I paid them MORE money. I hired Mark to run wires throughout the main floor of my house and install some appliances. The wires were run correctly; however the installation was defective and would not work. I asked Mark to correct the problem and finish the job. He responded that he would not return unless I paid him up-front, $250 immediately plus an additional $75 per hour after that to complete the work. I already paid him $1,500 to complete the job. This is extortion. Mark's crew of Amir and Valerio were gentlemen. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about Mark. On the phone he was rude; he yelled at me; he insulted me by yelling "stop lying and be honest for once in your life", and even used some profanity. This is unprofessional conduct. I had to hire another company to complete their work. How can you be satisfied with a contractor when you have to hire someone else to finish their work?

I cannot say enough good things about Mark and House Depot. Mark went above and beyond to make sure my house was not left without heat in the middle of winter. We were red tagged unfortunately for an old furnace. I found out about Mark and gave him a call. His price was great. His punctuality was perfect and last but not least you immediately notice that Mark is very proud of his work and cares about every job he does. He installed a brand new furnace for us and it has worked perfectly for my family since he has left. I work in the trades myself and I cannot believe the amount of bad work I see, lack of pride etc. That's why I want to emphasize that Mark went above and beyond to get that furnace installed into our house and did it with the finesse of a true professional. I will only be using Mark for any of my electrical and HVAC needs in the future. It's hard to find someone with such a kind heart and care for the work they provide. Thankyou Mark!

After our very old furnace stopped working on and off, I did some research and contacted a number of HVAC specialists. Mark was the 4th person who had come by to have a look, and right away I knew I'd go with him. Right off the bat, I just had a good feeling about him. He was very informative, gave me options, and most of all he was genuine and not pushy at all. We ended up replacing the furnace and AC, as he was able to give us a good deal. He's got a ton of experience, is a very hard worker and very trustworthy. When the job was finished on the furnace, he walked us through everything he had done, and the work area was throughly cleaned. He also came back a couple of month later, per my request, to finish the AC installation, as we had initially started work in the winter. My water heater broke down completely. I called HouseDepot and they arrived right away to diagnose the problem. I decided to go with a new tankless water heater which they got financed for me and installed. The entire price was much less than I was expecting. Due to the heat the top floor of our house was unlivable. We called HouseDepot to get a ductless air conditioner installed. The indoor unit had to be installed about 30 feet off the ground. They quoted me a decent price. The space on that side of the house was very limited due to the proximity of the neighboring house. They brought in a carpenter to build a temporary platform to allow them to put up a ladder to reach high enough. Due to a few unexpected factors the whole job took a day and a half instead of the day they estimated but they did all the work without charging me any more than the initial quote and I was very pleased with the quality of the work, they did not cut any corners and my living space is now genuinely livable no matter how hot it gets. I would call them again for any HVAC work or any electrical work since they do that too.

I wouldn't give one star since the actual work done by the junior electrician was very good and he was very helpful and professional. However, the actual project management by the boss in charge was one of the worst I have seen with regular delays in stated timelines, last minute notice that I needed to fix something instead of any kind of proactiveness to keep timelines on track, several useless upselling attempts, very last minute registration of the HVAC warranty (dependent on House Depot), and regular flip-flops in recommendations on the work to be done. In the end, the electrical and HVAC install work done with House Depot constantly delayed the whole renovation project. I would not recommend this group unless you work with the junior electrician directly, since the manager doesn't do much and is very hard to work with.

Very fine work from HouseDepot installing a chandelier and moving several fixtures. They were professional, courteous and detail-oriented, at a very good price. They did an excellent job installing my chandelier despite it being a gigantic amount of work. There were a few things that stood out such as being really careful with their equipment, wearing gloves when handling the crystals and packing up and setting down the trash. Called in House Depot and expected a big bill but they got there and within minutes determined that the thermostat was too close to where the hot air was blowing, 15 minutes later they had moved the thermostat and my house was warm. The bill was the nicest thing, just the basic rate for a visit, nothing more. I would highly recommend House Depot for any HVAC services.

It was very odd, we were selling our house and a buyer came in with an hvac tech and when they were done they told me my AC wasn't working and needed to be replaced. I called HouseDepot and they came. It turned out that a wire had been removed from the thermostat and a condenser component was removed and installed upside down. It took them 15 minutes to find the problem and we only got charged the basic service call rate to show up at the house, no time.
