I went in to check out some things and a very angry employee came up to me muttering under his breath and told me I needed to apply hand sanitizer, I said oh sorry I didn't see it and he replied very angirly by showing me a cardboard cut out with a sign on it while saying something along the lines of "that's why we put this there, to stop people from coming in without sanitizing" I was kind of put off by how rude he was being but put sanitizer on anyways and countined looking when another customer came in and he said very loudly "thank you fro using sanitizer " then glared at me. He was so hostile towards me I decided I'd just leave. If he had simply asked me to apply hand sanitizer I definitely would've done it no questions asked. There was no need to be so rude.

Some of the worst customer service I have received. I don't go in to a place to buy things only to be told the guy selling the record "doesn't understand why people listen to said artist." I didn't ask for your opinion, therefore it just comes off as snobby and rude. People have varied music tastes my friend, learn to accept it. I will no longer support this place whatsoever and I don't suggest anyone else does either. Music is the one place where varied expression should not be questioned and this gentleman I was served by has gone and done the one thing that would actually lead me to leave a negative review. Don't buy from here; because they don't support art or music. They're just an overpriced joke shop with jerk employees.

Sunrise records in Northgate mall will not let you in if you don't use THEIR sanitizesr because other kinds makes their products sticky. Got kicked out for that today. Sunrise Records. I even had my own and explained I have a medical condition that other brands agravate. Still refused me then lied to me saying it's for health and safety after I said "then I won't touch anything".

On Wednesday December 8 at 10am at north gate shopping center in north bay Ontario Canada I went to enter the store, a man who claims he is the manager of that store asked me to use the hand sanitizer but I said I would like to use my own because mine doesn’t have the harsh alcohol or sticky texture most store are carrying and he got very rude and stated it was sunrise company policy that no one is allowed to use there own personal hand sanitizer, 1. Hand sanitizer is hand sanitizer it shouldn’t make a difference 2. I went on your company policy and I don’t see where it says that visitors have to use the companies hand sanitizer, it says we must sanitize before entering but nothing about specific hand sanitizer. 3. He has an attitude and shouldn’t be working because based off of other peoples experience I am not the only one. Seems someone needs a new job. Covid has made our lives hard to live as it is and then he does this. It shouldn’t make a difference but he made it a thing. all I wanted to do was buy a gift card. Lost my business due to this. This is unacceptable behaviour from staff under your company name who is also a manager. This is not how we are suppose to treat human beings. He wouldn’t even tell me his name or show me where it stated company hand sanitizer only he just told me to do it so I did.
