Our furnace fan essentially fell apart at the height of the recent heat wave...Service Experts were able to send Dan and Matt for an installation of a new furnace and AC unit just a couple of days after our order. they showed up by 9:00, removed the old system and installed the new one in brutal heat and humidity conditions. Other than there is a new system installed there was virtually no evidence that they had even been here! The old system equipment and packing for the new one were gone when they were. A highly professional job done under awful conditions...(can't recall which of the gents it was, but he had to use the box from the new AC unit for shade throughout the install!)

Our furnace decided to quit during COVID-19 on a Friday. We contacted Service Experts who scheduled a person to come out and look at our furnace that day. Since this is only our second replacement in 46 years, we didn't mind going with a brand new Lennox furnace, thermostat and humidifier. Dan was our technician. He was courteous and informative during his total installation. They provided us with small electric heaters to keep our house warm enough to get by the weekend. I appreciate this company coming out during this crisis and doing a great installation and cleanup job before saying goodbye. Be safe!

Four years ago we wanted to have air conditioning installed in our home. After reading reviews on Lennox units we contacted Service Experts of Niagara to quote on the job. Their sales rep was knowledgeable, informative, fair and honest. They did a fantastic job. Move forward nearly 4 years and we contacted them to do a service and maintenance call on both our furnace & AC unit. The day our service was scheduled we received a call from SEN asking if we would mind having just the AC unit serviced that day due to a high demand on their serice men during a sudden heat wave. Our furnace appt. could come later. This was not an issue for us. Derek L, the service technician arrived early and was very pleasant. We showed him where the equipment was located and followed him throughout his tasks. He was most informative, not only expalining what he was doing but why he was doing it so we had a better understanding of our equipment and the way it functioned. Derek L went out of his way to make sure we were completely satisfied, which we were. We had a $50. discount coupn for the job, however when we received the call to change the appointment that morning we were informed that it would be less expensive to enter into a one year service agreement which offered extra discounts on any parts & service we might need in the future and priority service calls. The choice was simple and we are protected for the whole year. We highly recommend Service Experts of Niagara.

Dan & Jeff replaced our hot water tank. Very happy with their work, efficiency in completing the install on time. Since the install the tank has been performing as expected. Dan & Aaron replaced our furnace, the installation went well. We had no concerns of any kind. Thomas our sales rep was able to force in our install next day as we had no heat. Dan started his day half an hour earlier just to accommodate my schedule. He was there half hour before I had to leave for my one hour shift. I showed him where my old tank was and he right away went to work. As I left Trevor with another guy where unloading the new hot water tank. A/C failure. Emergency response was immediate (1'st thing in morning after midnight emergency call). Derek diagnosed cause as loss of refrigerant. He was expert in his knowledge, explained everything, suggested path forward with our regular service provider, very pleasant. It was a positive experience. Service Experts installed a complete HVAC system to replace an old 20+ year old system and I am now into its 3rd year of operation. I purchased a service contract after the first year to cover system check ups and to ensure the good operation of the system, in the winter they clean the burners and make sure there are no gas leaks and in the summer they clean the A/C outside unit so that the A/C works to max efficiency . This week I had the service call for my A/C tech 319-00091 Micheal was out, he did a great job and we talked about motorcycles and his Harley, he has been here before .. great tech ... keep up the good work Service Experts.

My central air conditioning did not turn on at the beginning of May. I called Service Experts and they made an appointment for the next day. The technician arrived at my home and asked me if I had turned my air conditioning unit all the way down. I had not. I then turned my air conditioner all the way down and my unit started immediately. Service Experts still charged me the service fee to come to my home. All I thought to myself was after years of using you for my furnace service annually, you couldn't take pity on the idiot that I am? Your technician did nothing but ask me to turn the unit all the way down. There was nothing wrong with the unit. They couldn't have asked me that over the phone? I'm a long-time customer. Won't be using this company again. It cost me almost $140.00 to have some guy ask me to turn the temperature down. Nice customer service guys!

Just awful customer service. Emails don’t get replied to, phone calls are never resolved immediately. Linda has never been able to resolve the constant issues we have had from the very beginning. Further, when I call in she is extremely unpleasant and unapologetic. Does customer service mean anything anymore? There are dozens of other businesses who offer the exact same services in the area, don’t bother with these guys. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Tom came to my house to give me the break down on the options for a new system and after spending an hour or 2 here, late Friday night, he gave me pointers on rerouting some duct work for a renovation I was into as well. Darren Chris and Spencer spent 2 days installing a new propane furnace a/c unit and a hot water tank and totally transformed my back room from the mess of duct work and half assed furnace repairs into a visually appealing completely efficient masterpiece. Choosing a new heating and cooling system is neither easy nor inexpensive. There is a bewildering array of options, and the technology of modern units is complicated and requires installers and maintenance technicians that are highly trained and kept abreast of technological changes. After speaking with three heating/AC companies in St Catharines, we felt most confident that Service Experts had the product, reputation, knowledge and proficiency to best meet our needs and contracted to have them install a new high-efficiency furnace, AC and continuous hot water heater. From beginning to end, we were totally satisfied with all aspects of the project. Beginning with the sales agent that met with us, Tom, who patiently explained our options and simplified the mechanics so we could make informed comparisons and understand the pros and cons of different units, we experienced only professionalism of the highest order. After working with us to arrange a convenient installation time, the two installers, Brian and Shane arrived promptly and worked efficiently and collaboratively (between them, they had more than 60 years of heating and cooling installation experience) to expertly install all units in two days. I was particularly struck by the care and expertise that went into every phase of the installation. Even to my untrained eye, the adaptation of the duct work (they were replacing a 41-year-old furnace about three times the size of the new unit), the soldering of copper lines and fittings, and the installation of vent pipes was exceptional. And as promised, the furnace room and surroundings were left cleaner than when they arrived. And everyone at SE made one thing clear – they stand behind their product. Based on our experience, I highly recommend Service Experts. I also suggest that if you factor in all the variables, from initial quality of product to expertise of installation to continuing service, SE is very competitive in cost as well.

On June 28 we called Service Experts to report our A/C unit had failed and they sent John B. a service technician out to help. With-in 60 minutes John diagnosed the problem, replaced a part he already had in his truck, and we were running again. 24 hrs. later the unit died again John returned and got it running, but we asked John to send a sales representative to discuss replacing the unit. That is how we met Paul N. and after having a long informative discussion with him about A/C, Heating Furnaces and gas water heaters we decided to change all three systems, which were 22, 31, ad 10 years old respectively. That is when we met Shane, Trevor, and Thomas the installers that had all the work done in a day and a half. They were clean, efficient, and easy to talk to, as they worked hard to update out systems to the latest industry standards. Kudos to the installers manager ( I did not get his name) who came out to help lift the A/C unit over the fence into our backyard, because it did not fit through the gate. Bravo Service Expert team! Above and beyond the call of duty! When did this happen you asked? During a heat wave of course!

As well, this past Friday, I had a very pleasant and productive conversation with SE Niagara’s General Manager Jason Collee at which time we discussed our concerns and issues. Jason acknowledged things could have and should have gone smoother than they did. He also apologized for our concerns not being addressed sooner than they were. I found him to be sincere, honest and I believe he’s the type of manager who will use this situation as a learning tool. I have no doubt that he’ll make sure a repeat of out situation doesn’t happen again. I also again would like to acknowledge their service technicians. Mitch and Shane again for their professional handling of our situation on installation day. Also top marks to a gentleman who came out to the house about 2 weeks ago who was also an outstanding technician. My apologies to him as I can’t recall his name. So, I will amend my review. We’re very happy with the resolution of our issues and will continue to deal with Service Experts Niagara.

Dan & Tom replaced my 55 year old system, so they had their work cut out for them! Had it all completed in one day. Everything was installed as aesthetically as possible in this older home. Everything was cleaned up and all trash removed. The question is: Will this system last 55 years? (You know the saying, ‘they don’t make them like they used to’.)

I woke up this morning and found out the furnace was not firing up and it is -15 C outside. Called up Service Experts and spoke to Linda, who explained everything clearly with costs up front and said someone would be here this afternoon. They sent John B over who quickly determined the fault of the furnace after having to manhandle some difficult parts to get them apart. He had the part needed in his truck and did his magic to get everything cleaned up and working properly again, never losing his cool, even when under severe pressure. I would have him wear a superhero cape if it wasn't a fire hazard in his line of work! They were out within an hour of my call. I ended up needing a whole new system. Or chance fixing a very old system. Day 2, Glenn and Mike came out and we figured out the options. Still no heat at this point. So they, Dan and Spencer arrived on Friday. They were very nice, polite, professional. They worked a very long 10 hour removal and installation. They cleaned up and walked me through the whole system. Something that was inevitable and now, no worries. Thank you gentlemen. So I re posted this...oops. lol Had maintenance on my air from Aaron Tiessan. The appt. was rescheduled a few times but I am always called and in the loop and the last visit was the Friday prior to the scheduled Monday appt. So it all works out. Friendly, respectful. Be warned - Scott, a company rep, may not actually be a licensed engineer. I am investigating the matter. I am filing a complaint with both the Professional Engineers of Ontario and the Better Business Bureau. He quoted a 10,000 dollar "repair" to my home, saying its HVAC system was not properly installed. He identified himself as an "engineer." I received quotes from three other HVAC companies, all of which said "no problem with your system; a standard install would be appropriate." Further, despite Scott's hyperbole, the existing HVAC system was properly inspected, certified and appropriately registered with the municipality. We instead went for the standard AC system two months ago, and there have been no cooling issues to date. Had I relied on Scott and his "engineering expertise," I would have been overcharged $7,000

The technician and Don arrived to check why my central air conditioner was not cooling properly. The technician showed me the test which proved that there was a coolant leak and the best option was a new system. I agreed and Don's presentation of different air conditioner/furnace options was professional, transparent and informative. I grew up in the Caribbean and view air condition as a luxury even in this heat wave so eventually decided not to get a new system at this time. I believe that there are no better equipment or people than at Service Experts. However, I would prefer if the finance department offered increased options and incentives for purchase/lease but I guess that people who can afford the best aren't concerned with that.

Our heat stopped working properly so we quickly called service experts before it got too cold in the house and the same day they sent someone even though it was a holiday ! Aaron came to our home and spent a good amount of time figuring out what’s causing our problem. He found the problem to be a blockage found in the exhaust vents and was able to fix it and repair a poor installation done by the previous home owners. He explained how the whole system worked, how to maintain the temperature of the house properly depending on season, and showed me where the exhaust and intake are located. He went over changing air filters the proper way, cleaning out condensation/drainage tubes, and how often this needs to be done. He tested the whole A/C system for leaks and temperature consistency, and cleaned the outside unit. He went over pricing for an updated furnace system and a humidifier that I would like installed next fall without any pressure to buy. Beware of consultation fee and BS-factor when the reps arrive. Not altogether wrong in their assessment, but just shy of trying to pull one over on me. I did not go beyond consultation because of this. First 2 guys showed up and instantly pulled a "I'm going to have to red-flag this appliance" as if to infer that some policing would follow. They then made a call to a "qualified gas-fitter" to view the situation (the gas feed was not involved in the issue at all). The next day the "pro" turned up and looked at the situation, took a lot of photos of it and spent close to an hour reviewing (I had an alternate professional look at it and was done in 15 minutes). I paid the consultation fee as it was quoted to me at the time of booking (my bad), again, the first guys said that the fee was not what it should be and attempted to increase it. I called Service Experts St. Catharines in the first place because it had the "Google verified/guarantee" label when searching online.

I’m astonished at the level of service this company offers! My furnace went out during a major ice storm. The dispatcher provided my info to Andy. Due to the treacherous weather and extremely poor driving conditions, Andy personally called my cell to inform me of this and offered to book an appointment the following day once the weather cleared. We had our new Lennox HVAC system installed yesterday by Dan and Josh and they were fantastic. They arrived promptly at the time promised and went straight to work and boy did they work! They removed the old furnace and ancient air conditioner and worked straight through until 5:00pm. They didn't think of leaving until we were completely briefed and satisfied with the installation. I'm not a tech, but reviewing the work showed how professionally they did the work. All previous questionable electrical, plumbing and gas connections related to the old system were revamped and brought to code and everything was left neat, tidy and shipshape! Throughout the day, Dan and Josh were amicable and good-natured and willingly and thoroughly answered our questions. We are very happy with our new system and would highly recommend the Service Experts team, especially Dan and Josh. Not to forget the office staff, Morag was always friendly and helpful when we called the office to set up our initial appraisal and eventual installation, and quickly responded to any concerns or queries. No-one likes to fork out for a new system, but with a team like this, it makes the experience very pleasant.

BE WARNED!!! We contacted Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in 2015 when we knew it was time to replace our aging HVAC system. We actually contacted several places and met with them for quotes. Service Experts was chosen for the way they presented themselves and their honesty. No regrets until... Fast forward to 2021 and we've been contacted by the NEW OWNERS of Service Experts. Unbeknownst to us, "Enercare" apparently bought them in 2016? It's not clear who these people are but they decided to spontaneously abort our 10 year service contract they'd been honouring for 6 years. This is a highly strategic move on their part as we were paying them $20/mo to visit us only once a year. Everything was included such as the cost of repairs, parts and even a new filter. How come they didn't abort this agreement sooner? Great question. Perhaps because they knew it was highly unlikely they would have to follow through on repairs to our brand new Lennox furnace and air conditioning unit. Not to mention the fact that they didn't even show up in 2020. We still paid them though. Apparently Enercare Inc has been licensing the Service Experts name, logo and design since merging with them and I'll bet a lot of people are unaware of the change as they are hiding behind their predecessor's façade. That includes the Service Expert's reputation. I also found out that if you want to get out of a contract with Enercare, you have to BUY your way out. But if they want to get out of a contract, all they have to do is send you a letter. Tsk-tsk. In our phone conversation with the customer service rep for Service Experts (Enercare) we struggled hard to understand what was happening. Her command of the English language was very poor, casting a shadow of doubt on an already sketchy situation. I was in the market for a new AC unit because I had moved into a new-build townhouse. Not wanting to have to wait until the summertime, I looked around for something now. As I was exiting Costco, I saw Rachel Felker by the exit. I took the opportunity to ask her some questions about buying an AC unit. She gave me some info and followed up later to set a date and time to go over some quotes. It started with a consultation visit from Rachel. She took some measurements of the house and made a recommendation on the size of the AC unit. She was very professional and guided me through the whole thing, from getting the paperwork done to scheduling installation and even following up when everything completed. The installation occurred on time, with a visit from Thomas and Matt. They entered my house, rolled out the red carpets and did what they needed to do. Given that the area is a construction zone, it was very muddy outside. Still, Thomas and Matt came and went without leaving any mess. The installation occurred as expected without any issues. Thomas showed me the work he and Matt had done. And gave me some pointers on what to do when summer arrives, and I can start using the AC unit. From start to finish, everyone was very professional. Overall, it was a great experience!

Set up through Costco Lennox Furnace program for this company to come in. I first set up for them to do a check up on my furnace. On August 28 they came in and RED TAGGED our furnace which means that the furnace was not allowed to be used. They turned off the gas and said they would contact the gas company. The service guy then said call the company and they would give you a good deal especially if we don't go through Costco. I told him I would get a second opinion. We then called another company that came and and couldn't find anything wrong with our furnace, they said it was a older model but nothing wrong with it. It feels like you where just trying to rip me off and get me to buy a furnace. This is a big ticket product that would have cost us up to $10,000 if I didn't get a second opinion. I would not recommend this company at all.

Was a great experience from start to finish. Mike A #91 showed up a half an hour earlier than the window given (which is always great) and was only here about an hour. Got inside the house and went right to work and eliminated 90% of potential problems in minutes. Update June 22 - Jim came out to help use we lost our AC, it froze solid. Turns out if you close all your vents and crank the humidity down you can cause a low airflow in your system which will cause it to freeze up. Their office staff are agreeable and friendly to interact with, and their technicians are knowledgeable and courteous. Treatment (or lack thereof) and quality of product from one of the manufacturers however is a different story. As a result, and without getting into detail, I’d say that ‘Carrier’ is a product/organization that I would neither recommend nor purchase again.

This is my first time writing a review, because I SO UPSET and CHEATED by this company. When I called Service Expert, they informed that there is a $99 Diagnostic Fee, and then pushing for their membership say $5/month and then the diagnostic fee can be waived. I though it is a good plan for the future, so I took it. When the technician comes, instead of fixing the ignition issue that we already know, he start tearing down the furnace and pointing out everything wrong with my furnace, such as this one is corroded, that part is cracked. How dangerous this is, and then finally lead to BUY A NEW FURNACE. Then this technician start pushing for their plan for $200/month for using the new furnace for the life of furnace. I asked him how much cost for a new furnace, and he said he didn't know, and we have to talked to their sale person who could be here right away to check and give me quote, but NOBODY is still buy new furnace anymore because people are all renting the furnace right now. I checked online a new furnace may last 15 - 20 years, and we are looking at $36,000 for 15 years for a furnace, which I can buy a new one ~$7,000. I feel like this technician is SO UNPROFESSIONAL, so I called the service desk and cancelled membership and pay for the diagnostic fee. Then the technician told me there is a FALSE LOCATE FEE, which is another $128. I was SHOCKED was I hear that. THEY NEVER MENTIONED THERE IS ANOTHER FEE TO FIND OUT THE PROBLEM OF MY FURNACE. Isn't that the diagnostic fee? Just because their technician behave so unprofessional, and I called to cancelled the membership and want to pay for the diagnostic fee, they just create another term to charge another $128 for finding the problem. Am I not allowed to get second opinion when their technician perform unprofessional and acted like a pushy salesman? I literally look up dictionary online, diagnostic means IDENTIFICATION OF ILLNESS, AND THAT IS FALSE LOCATE!!! If you are looking for a professional technician, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY for repairs, THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL!!! DON'T GET YOURSELF STUCK WITH THEM, they will find different excuses to charge you extra just for doing nothing!!!

I recently bought a home, it is a bit older home, and I had scheduled a furnace check up / duct cleaning job with Service Experts Niagara. The technicians arrived on time, and discovered that the furnace Heat Exchanger is defective and had to red tag the furnace for safety reasons. They immediately called their office and arranged for a Sales Consultant to come by and give me options. And, the Sales person arrived within an hour and surveyed the home/equipment and took time to explain various options. And, when i selected the appropriate choice, he immediately called his folks to arrange for next available installation appointment. And, it was confirmed for next day. This is winter time and you need heat in the house. The sales consultant left a electric heater for the night (nice of him), fortunately the day/night was relatively milder, we could get by. As expected, the installation technicians arrived promptly @ 9 AM the next day, and installed the furnace.During the installation process, the technicians explained and listened to what I wanted (in terms of vent connections) and got the job done by evening. We had heat back by the evening and it was getting colder that night. Many thanks to Service Experts Installation technicians - Thomas G and Mitchell M- did a fantastic job. They are energetic, professional, thorough and did a great job. And a friendly bunch, glad i had them at the home for this job. Very pleased and satisfied. And, these two young men are very safety conscious, a great characteristic of professional technician. Problem with furnace in a house we bought....We rang for a diagnostic call and received same day service. Beverly was helpful and called to let me know that the technician was on the way. The furnace would not go above 60 degrees. Thomas diagnosed the problem quickly and removed the disgusting, nigh three-inch layer of debris that was blocking the air flow. Not only was this a total fire hazard but another company that had serviced the furnace this month (according to the tag on the furnace) had missed the hazard. Thomas stuck around to make sure everything was working properly after removing the debris and also made sure to ask that we had working carbon monoxide detectors. I've been using Service Experts for years and in the past they have installed both a boiler furnace and a semi-split air conditioning system. I've never been disappointed by this company. Another successful appointment for $99 (+ tax because the government wants a piece of everything!) See the photo. That is not a clogged filter. That is a filter shaped obstruction.

We paid for the units in full but the kept charging the monthly advantage fee. After more than a month to still waiting for our monthly refund. Well the day after the review was posted we finally got our refund. I would recommend that Service Experts follow up on any issues and not let the customer wonder if action is being performed to resolve the issue.

We contacted the Service Experts back in July when our Air Conditioning shut down unexpectedly. They sent out a pair of technicians to check out our unit and had the issue quickly resolved in under an hour. From their inspection they provided us a detailed evaluation of our home heating system. It turns out that their inspection confirmed that our existing furnace had a cracked heat exchanger which obviously we did not have a clue about. We waited a few months to have our system updated due to The Covid situation. We contacted three separate independent furnace installers who each came out to provide us an estimate. Without question the most informed sales presentation of the three was Glen Greschuk aka... "The king of Home Comfort" Glenn answered all of our questions and spent over two hours explaining the different options available to meet our home heating needs. I have to admit that of the three estimates provided the Service Experts estimate was the highest. I truly feel however that the old adage that you get what you pay for applies in this situation. I had no clue what "Nate certified" even meant. That is until Glen had advised me that I should perhaps ask the other installers if they could provide documentation that they had that qualification. Needless to say neither of the other installers could provide us with that documentation. The Lennox furnace and air conditioning system that we had installed is truly state-of-the-art. I cannot tell you how happy the "smart thermostat" that came with the unit has made me and my wife. It truly is a set it and forget it thermostat. You can set the thermostats to have the furnace come on at a specific temperature as well as have the air conditioning come on at a specific temperature. We truly feel that we got our money's worth in the professionalism the knowledge and the proven results that the last 2 months of having a nice warm home has proved to us. You cannot go wrong with investing your money with this tried-and-true company. The installation was completed in one day and that included replacing a large portion of our ductwork which was incorrectly installed as well as rerouting exhaust and vent pipes. The installers were professional and left absolutely no mess once the work was completed. I would strongly encourage anyone who is looking to have a new home heating system installed reach out to "The King of Home Comfort" Glen Greschuk at Service Experts Niagara.

We have received excellent service from this company and their representatives. They have diagnosed a heating problem and replaced the thermostat. Recently they have returned to assess the furnace and prepare it for the winter. I feel confident that their descriptions of the status of the furnace is fair and accurate.

I entered a rental agreement with Service Experts that included a new air conditioner and a new furnace, plus service and maintenance. The salesman, Scott, promised me a rebate which I would get approximately two weeks later. A month passed by, so I went into the office to see what had happened. The secretary told me that someone forgot to file the rebate paperwork and I should get my rebate in four to six weeks. I ultimately decided to purchase the equipment and cancel the maintenance portion of the agreement. A couple months later, I received the rebate, but for only half the amount I was promised. I was told that because I canceled the agreement, I was entitled to only half. They also said Scott would call me and resolve the matter. I am still waiting for the call... I am very disappointed with the service and feel like I have been scammed to make a sale.

Install exceeded my expectations. Installers were friendly and surprisingly upbeat about things considering it rained the entire first day of the install followed by snow the entire second day of the install. They made sure I was okay with everything. Involved me in decisions of preference and modified the install plans when needed to make sure it would work properly and be done right (they again exceeded expectations instead of doing less). The equipment looks amazing. I can't speak for the Lennox XC21 2.5ton air conditioner as it is cold out (other than it looks great and the sheer size of the thing is EPIC!) but the Furnace and HRV are working great right now. I honestly can't tell when the fan on the furnace is running when I'm standing right beside it. Go Lennox SLP98V?! The house air already noticeably fresher and the temperature of the house is way more even. Doesn't dim the lights in the house when the furnace fan kicks in anymore, the single stage fan of the old furnace was a big power draw at startup. The humidifier is getting hooked up with a new water heater as soon as I get a carbon water filter installed on the water feed line for them. And a special thanks again to the installers Dan and Aaron. They did a great job in less than ideal conditions.

My air conditioner died during the severe heat warning in July. Service Experts send Mike A. to find the problem. As soon as he took the cover off the outside unit he knew what the problem was. He changed the capacitor and the air conditioner was working again. He then measured the temperature in the duct above the coil. Everything was now working properly. He explained everything he did. Great work. I have been using Service Experts since they installed my new Lennox furnace and air conditioner 16 years ago.

They were very neat with there work ,cleaning as they went, so jobsite was not a mess and taking the garbage with them at the end. They worked hard to get 2 of the 3 heads installed and working the first day. They also worked and cleaned up the day we had several down pours of rain, trying to get the job done even staying late to try and do so. My only issue was scheduling. Unfortunately we were put off for emergencies with one time not being communicated to us st all. Overall we were very pleased with Matt's and Evan's work and attitude. I understand that scheduling is difficult for our Port Dover location and that you attempt to schedule a series of stops in the same area. Every appointment we have made has been re-scheduled - once even on the day of the appointment - which is awkward because we plan our own schedule around your commitment. If it was once or twice, it would be no problem, but it has been EVERY time. That is why we insisted on not changing this year when the request for change was made one day before the appointment. Early this week I smelled gas in my home coming from either my furnace or on demand hot water heater. I called Enbridge's emergency line, they came quickly, detected gas from the furnace within five minutes, gave me a red tag and told me to call HVAC after shutting off the gas. I called Service Experts to find where the gas was coming from. A tech showed up, spent 2.5 hours here, and could detect no gas. He cleared the ticket and left, after trying to sell me a new furnace despite telling me nothing was wrong with mine. Within 15 minutes of his leaving - I smelled gas again. Three technicians later, I have been told there's nothing wrong with my furnace despite still smelling gas regularly. I now need to call someone else to actually fix the issue, and I'm out $550 needlessly the week before Christmas. It is clear that Service Experts will not provide their tech's with the same equipment Enbridge had which very quickly determined there was gas where it shouldnt be. Very disappointed, would never recommend this company.

My sister's furnace wouldn't kick above 15C and upon reading reviews I contacted Service Experts. From start to finish, I was thoroughly impressed. I called late morning with my inquiry and received same day appointment for diagnostic assessment. Not only did Jennifer arrange the appointment to be within a 2 hour window, she also coordinated a call to advise me that the technicians were on their way so I did not have to wait in the freezing cold at my sister's house. I was super appreciative of the above and beyond customer service. The technicians, John and Thomas, arrived and were meticulous in their assessment and good-natured. They explained all of the tests they were running and double checked their tests to confirm results. In addition, they were cleaning orifices and the flame sensor and explaining each step all along the way. The assessment was $99 and exceeded expectations. They returned the following day to put in the new pressure switch (which was faulty as determined by circuit testing the initial visit) as well as made many helpful recommendations. Jennifer also called immediately following the initial visit to set up a visit for the following day. My sister was thrilled to have her house warmed back up so quickly at such an insignificant cost. Super pleased and impressed with this company and its team! Thank you especially to John, Thomas and Jennifer!

The new furnace looks so good, they went the extra mile with everything (new pipes and they even built a wall to install our tankless system on!!! WHAT?!?!?! I was home alone when they came and being a female this makes me nervous but these guys made me feel very safe, plus I was told they are all background checked. We had the original furnace and A/C from when the house was built 15 years ago and the new system has made a very noticeable difference, we are much more comfortable now. I purchased their yearly service package at the time. Received my second visit today. The technician was Clarke, who also came the first time. He was very professional and thorough. He let me follow him so I could ask questions about what he was checking and understand how my system works and he did not get annoyed or frustrated by me. Very disappointed with the service! I had an AC installed. The installation involved removing and re-placing of a little fence around the AC. In doing so, the installers broke one of the boards which is holding the fence together. Also, they positioned the fence higher than the original way, which looks bad and does not match the other part of the house(they are 2 matching semi-s). I called 3 times and left messages, which were ignored, and on the 4th time had the chance to talk to Jason, who, I believe, is the "boss", and who was anything but professional! He recognised the fact that the fence had to be removed and placed back by his installers but he said that they did not break it!!! Not that he was a witness of the installation, but he "trusted his people", and he asked them if they broke the fence and they said "no", and therefore, "they didn't do it"!!! And not only that he did't offer to send someone to fix the problem, but he had the audacity to suggest to me, that the fence should be removed form around the AC on both properties!!! ( although I never asked him for exterior decorating advice!!!) I believe that a job is well done when the client is happy and there are no flaws in the performance. We are all humans and we make mistakes, but we fix the mistakes we've made! What makes us good professionals, is fixing the flaws we do, and correcting the damage we cause, as we care that our clients are happy! We pay attention to details and never leave a customer unsatisfied! ...And in this case, they installed but left a mess behind! They ignored my calls and my messages...And in my book, this is not professional! Would I come back to you in the future - NO Would I recommend you to others - NO Probably, Mr President of The Company, you don't even care for my opinion, judging by your attitude during my conversation with you! But other people, who happen to be reading this, care!!!

I highly recommend Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning. We have had a issue with our air con leaking coolant each year. Andy Howarth was sent to us after normal business hours on a Friday. He was extremely professional and was determined to find the problem. He was willing to come over the weekend, to complete the job, as it required pressure testing the unit to find the leak. Using Service Experts of Niagara for our project was the best decision we made! From the beginning of the sales process to the end! Thomas our sales rep is truly a rare breed! HONEST SALES PEOPLE! WHAT A CONCEPT! I have never met an individual so hard working and dedicated to his clients! He's incredibly knowledgeable and answered all our questions! Everything he promised Service Experts would do they did. We installed a high efficiency furnace, central air and tankless water heater. The ratings are a lie. The only reason this company was ever rated highly is because they guilted customers into giving 5 star review. If you rate 5 stars after an install the installers receive a bonus. So now that our plans are transferring to Enercare I decided to review what I signed. The sales agent flat out lied to me, I was under the impression that at any time after 1 year I could have them remove the unit at ZERO cost. This was a flat out lie, their contract does say that, you are stuck with them for 15 years or have to buy out the plan. They listed the market value of my tankless unit at $5200.00, I thought I was getting an okay deal, that over 15 years with service I'd end up paying about $10,000.00. INSTEAD, the unit can be purchased for $2600 from a hardware store, they literally DOUBLED the price of the unit and pretended that is market value so they can charge you more. Completely dishonest tactic and unsure how artificially ramping the price of an item up can be called "market value". I was also told and impressed that the installation was at no cost and the sales agent verified that it was no cost multiple times but NOW that I've complained about the cost of the unit I've been told that part of the listed market value is the installation cost!?!? SO the installation ISN'T free. The sales agent misled and lied MULTIPLE times and now my contract is allegedly being transferred to Enercare, a company I want absolutely nothing to do with and I company I purposely avoided doing business with. What an absolute awful company.

We had prompt and efficient service from the beginning of a possible repair to our furnace by Clarke. Part ordered and when it arrived John B was service tech on that day. With Johns vast knowledge, he advised us that yes, this part could possibly work, but due to the age of the unit and the additional costing of additional parts in all probability may deserve some reconsideration of us investing into the old unit. We agreed with that scenario and John set up a Sales representative to come and discuss different options. Tom P arrived shortly , took an overview of our home and quickly advised us of our potential needs. Tom is an exceptional representative for you company. Over the 40 years living in our home we have never had the professionalism, knowledge, obvious confidence and pride that Tom presents Oh Oh install date of new equipment. Surprise, first thing Dan, Aaron, and Clarke do is lay out the red carpet to keep floors clean. The complete dismantle and install was great. 1. Beware - before they look at your heating / air conditioning unit, they charge you to enter your house for a trip fee at $100 (not a diagnostic fee, just a trip fee - I thought my husband called a service Team from Toronto). Then additional charges will be added for the diagnostic fees. Well, lessons learnt. 2. They sent technician for the service call. All the technician said was the unit does not worth to be repaired and then started to sell me the new furnace. He was so pushy and said he can have the salesperson here in 30 minutes. Well - that amazingly fast. Why - because they are in the business to sell new systems not service existing systems. Would never recommend this company.

Excellent service from Sales to Installation. Tom, Sales, came to our house on a Sunday, explained all the different options we had and was completely transparent with us. He was quick to act on the next steps to get us heat asap (our oil tank was out of oil=no heat) with open communication along the way. First of all Paul came to our house and could not have been more friendly or professional. He explained to us the benefits of the new types of furnaces and air conditioners. I called this company to have my water pump replaced, and I am not pleased about the amount I had to pay. The service fee was $99, and I checked online- the water pump that needed replacing was about $50. Including tax it would be a couple dollars more. The total would be about $149 more or less, no? I had to pay $546.29 to have the water pump replaced, which is crazy. It is very unprofessional and irresponsible to rip off customers like this. They charged $350 more than they should have. I did not have the best experience with this company and I advise those considering calling this company to be careful and mindful.
