This job needed to be done before a new floor is laid and Next Step ensured that it was scheduled to be done as soon as possible. Mark did the install and he was quick and professional.

This is a family business that has been build with love of the craft, devotion and experience. It clearly shows. Mat, Carlos and their crew were professional, courteous and skillful. From beginning to end, the project was concise, tight and professional. Their advice was honest and to the point. Carlos very quickly understood what we needed and helped it happen with little effort. The crew (of special mention are Craig and Kevin) were respectful of our home, tidy and clean. It was a pleasure to watch them work and build the stairs piece by piece with great accuracy. Never hesitate to hire those guys. Did not have a hitch. We had all the original railings replaced on the split-level staircase in our home. Quality of the work was excellent (hickory posts and railings with black metal spindles in a simple design), and the project was done in two days. Ben and Cody were professional and answered our questions. Owner Carlos helped us with the design options, gave us the estimate, and stayed in contact with Ben and Cody. Carlos checked the work at the end. We would definitely hire again if we needed interior stairs again. Note that they do not put a finish on the railings - wood is sanded but unfinished.

Our beautiful stairs and railings speak for themselves, but what they don’t show is the exceptional service by this company. To begin, Next Step was very reasonably priced. Carlos made (structural) suggestions to the plans that not only saved us money, but also made easier work for the framing team. Kevin’s attention to details, made our railing look like art! Matt was quick to respond to calls and emails. It was an absolute delight to work with these experienced professionals, who are knowledgeable, courteous and dependable, and whose word you could count on.
