I had the guys out to replace my garage pad and sidewalk. They did a great job, arriving when they said and working all week to finish the job correctly and on budget. They were able to accommodate a couple of small, last minute changes without any issue. If you want quality work done the old school way, where men honour their word, then this is the company for you. Thanks Carmen, Tony and the rest of the guys.

I waited to write this review until today. Carmen, Tony and the crew were very friendly and professional. We had a side patio/walkway installed under the carport and a large 32’x12’ patio in the back yard. It was extremely hot on the day they dug it out and not much better on the day they spread the stone. The job was completed in a timely manner and they left the area clean. I was unhappy with some forms that I was told would have to remain between the fence and patio but once Carmen heard my concern he and Tony rectified the problem. I would definitely use them again on another project and would recommend them.

I had two projects in mind when I contacted Carmen, and I contacted other local concrete suppliers as well. Carmen impressed me because he proposed a solution that was cost-effective and would achieve the desired results with the least possibility of complication for a seventy-year-old home. My experience working with Carmen was top notch. He responded to the initial enquiry and came by to measure my property. Came back a second time as I added some walkways. He offered a very reasonable quote. The contract spelled out exactly what was included and the terms of payment. When the work started Carmen was onsite working alongside the crew every minute. The crew were gentlemen, very respectful of my property. Their experience shows in the quality of the finished job. So far - so good! I highly recommend Garofalos as a reputable contractor.

They will promise to replace concrete that was defective and go after the supplier but will brush you off every call, tell you face to face they will take care of it, but will never show up to honour their commitment and ignore you till you just give up. Will never be referred again to anyone.

Spend your hard earned money on someone else who will back up their work. I hired these guys to put in a small driveway connecting my existing driveway and new garage. I told Carmen multiple times to spare no cost on materials. He reassured me that everything they use as well as their methods was “overkill” for what I needed. When the job was done, he recommended that he seal the driveway for $260, I agreed. Then when he came to seal it the price changed to $320. I didn’t make a fuss, I just paid him. I thought as long as everything worked out I would be happy. Well, the first winter after the driveway was poured I noticed a crack that spanned the entire width of the driveway as well as the entire depth. I messaged Carm that day, he didn’t respond. Finally, when I messaged him a second time, 2 months later, he said to leave it with him and that he would come by and take a look. That was in April. Here we are, another 5 months later and I haven’t heard a word from Carmen. Nor does he respond to my messages. Save yourself the frustration folks. Hire real professionals who will stand behind their work. It took me a lot of hard work to save enough money to have this work done and what am I left with? A hideous cracked driveway!

They were very professional, never said a bad word, worked hard and continuously. Came on time, called when rain prevented the work being done. Worked all day until the job was done and then cleaned up. Wrote out a work order, explained how they were going to do it and then they did it. Very, very, professional.

Sep- 2019- Carmen and Tony and their crew recently completed our new walkway and very large driveway. Fantastic job! They designed a beautiful curved walkway to match our front porch and meet up perfectly with our driveway. We did our homework prior to hiring them and their good price and quality workmanship were evident in every job I viewed. They are very professional and they take so much pride in their trade! In this day and age it is hard to find anyone who takes pride in their work. Let me tell you, Carm and his crew are old school that way. They put quality above all, and stand behind it. They excavated last October, but didn't pour because he couldn't gaurantee the concrete at that time of year due to weather. That takes serious dedication and pride in their work to say that, when many other companies would have just done it without any concern with the end result. They are friendly, and professional through the entire process. If you're looking to get a driveway done, go with them. Great work!

They worked tirelessly building forms, digging and prepping to pour even though there was a heat warning and it was HOT!!! They are true professionals and take pride in their work. Very professional! They gave us a quote, stuck by it, went over and above, building us a new sidewalk and repairing our concrete frontporch.
