The project was the maintenance and repair of a small university campus including paint matching, extensive repair and painting of doors and walls, repair and installation of flooring, electrical upgrading, and the sourcing and installation of a unique flooring tile that we had thought was out of production. We hired Qualita to renovate our master bedroom and en suite. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and caring people. From the start they put our well-being first. Due to the age of our house there were concerns, which we were not aware of, that there could be asbestos used previously. During their initial visit they offered to take samples to be tested to confirm if there was asbestos present or not. This was before we even agreed to work with them. Thankfully the tests came back negative for asbestos. We also had 2 large dogs that can be a handful. I’m not sure, but I strongly suspect they were treating the dogs better than us (and they were treating us with the upmost respect and care). During the renovation one of our dogs was diagnosed with terminal cancer and we had to let her go. This was an extremely tough time for our family. Gahida & Carlos were so supportive, caring, and thoughtful during this time. They are truly beautiful people. The workmanship totally exceeded our expectations. With Gahida’s drawings and walking us through the process and Carlos’s meticulous attention to detail, our bathroom and bedroom have become our sanctuary. We fully recommend Qualita to anyone looking for renovations, construction, etc. We are very much looking forward to working with Carlos, Gahida, and little Laura on our next project! – Which is already being planned, a home office renovation. My bathroom was completely renovated, new vanity, sink, toilet, tile flooring, in-floor heating, shower stall retiled and now has a tile floor. Replaced the bathroom fan, mirror and added pendant lighting. Qualita was recommended to me by a close friend who has high expectations and has done a lot of renovations herself. She was very impressed by the workmanship, their commitment to the job, their reliability and that they always cleaned up at the end of the day. I was impressed by the same things in addition to the amount of time that Gahida spent with me for months ahead of time. She patiently helped me pick out floor and shower tiles which took a couple of months and many trips to a variety of tile stores. She was constantly sending me emails and texts with suggestions. She guided me but always respected my choices even if they were not her first recommendation. I'm very pleased with the final product.

Needed someone to remove some tile and mortar. Carlos showed up within a couple hours of me contacting him and did the entire area in 30 mins. He cleaned up well and took all the garbage with him. Very professional and I am very satisfied with what was done. I will use Qualita again for any future projects.

I highly recommend Qualita Services for your home renovations. They are a husband and wife team who work well together and with you. While keeping your ideas in mind, Gahida takes the time to help you choose the right materials/components for the job. Her 3D presentation of what the final result might look like was great! She is very upfront with costs and timelines. She provides receipts for materials that she picks up for the job so you know that costs are not inflated. Carlos "has a process" in the renovation work - he plans out how to do the work not only in the most efficient way, but to also give you the best quality result. He listens to your questions and is very innovative in solving problems that may come up. They are both wonderfully flexible in changing plans where possible, as new ideas sometimes come up during the renovation. They were always careful about not letting our cats out of the house; when doors had to be left open, they first secured the cats and it was obvious that our kitten enjoyed the kind attention that Carlos always gave him. They keep their workspace clean and are quick to remove demo debris. The end result of the renovation was a beautiful new bathroom where our two girls now take showers/baths without us reminding them. Carlos and Gahida are professional, trustworthy and friendly. The work they put in was over and above my expectations and I would not hesitate to call them for my next project.

My bathroom was in desperate need of a complete renovation including removing a wall. The renovation involved gutting the room down to the studs. It was completed on time, under budget and looks fabulous. The workmanship is meticulous, I appreciated the help in choosing tile and fixtures, they were very clean and careful and I am very happy with the results.

These 2 took such care with my renovation My not so beautiful 1980s popcorn ceilings are a thing of the past... drywall work is never easy but Carlos made it almost completely painless. Had an old walk-in custom shower which had what I thought was a minor leak that needed repair. After quoting several bathroom renovation contractors decided to hire Qualita as they had clear concise communication from start and provided a very detailed quotation. Qualita quoted a slightly longer completion date vs other contractors but made it evident that they don’t cut corners and do things the right way in the right order. Upon start Qualita ensured the rest of my home was protected well during the entire bathroom renovation. It was quickly evident to me that they take great care and pride in their work from day 1. Upon demolition it turned out my bathroom leak was much worse than anticipated and Qualita quickly reviewed the extent of damage during this demolition phase of work and the recommendations they had to fix things right. Overall because of the extensive unexpected leak damage the job took longer but everything was done carefully and bathroom was repaired correctly. Overall for any bathroom project or renovation I would hands down recommend Qualita and would use them again in any future bathroom projects I have. Lastly throughout the project they took all Covid precautions and provided daily updates on progress. 10/10.

I love my bathroom!! Thanks to the excellent teamwork of Gahida and Carlos, my dream bathroom has become a reality. Gahida takes the time to listen to your wants and needs and guides you through the process of design and selection of materials, all the while making sure you understand the pros and cons of the many decisions that need to be made during the renovation and the costs involved. She keeps the line of communication open between all parties involved so that everyone is on the same page. They have a good relationship with their suppliers (glass doors, cabinetry, countertops, fixtures) so that if any problems arise, they are quickly resolved. Carlos is an amazing craftsman. Execution is everything and his attention to detail and meticulous workmanship show in the final results. He takes care of the demolition, electricals, plumbing, shower construction, tiling and painting with great skill and care. Carlos handles and solves any unexpected complications with creative thinking and collaborative input. He reviews the work done on a daily basis so you are aware of how the job is progressing. The work site is kept clean and tidy at the end of each day. Carlos and Gahida are trustworthy, honest and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a renovation. I hope Gahida and Carlos will be able to renovate my second bathroom in the near future.

Gahida and Carlos are a dynamite team that really care about you and your home. They renovated our Bathroom in the spring and our Kitchen this summer. Carlos and Gahida are a great team who did a super job on my ensuite renovation in autumn 2019. They are flexible ( I wanted to retain some items, like the mirror, bathtub & toilet) and had good suggestions about retailers & products. They are problem solvers ( renovations always have issues that pop up) and Carlos is a very skilled crafstman. He completed a long list of other tasks ( e.g. replacing tile in front of my fireplace). I recommend that if you buy items from Modern Bathrooms, you thoroughly check them before the 5 day deadline on returns. I didn’t remove packing tape from the ceramic sink, and there was a chip underneath it; but fortunately Carlos was able to repair it. Also, check your choice of plumbing fixtures with Carlos before purchasing; I bought one that was defective & had to be replaced. All in all, I was so happy to have hired Qualita, & highly recommend them!

We had our main bathroom gutted and completely redone. Work was done on time and budget. Carlos and Gahida have assisted with product choice, and design. Results are amazing! Better than we ever dreamed. They are doing our master bath in January and we can't wait. Gahida takes the worry out of everything and they are very hardworking. We have two dogs and they were amazing with both of them. I can't give them enough praise and anyone would be very satisfied with the work they do. The price was more than fair. Receipts were sent out weekly and we felt so comfortable and had no questions or concerns with anything.

Carlos is a real perfectionist in his work, and a real craftsman.
