Two years ago, my wife and I created a list of renovation projects that needed to be addressed over the next few years. To ensure that we found the most suitable contractor for all the planned projects over the longer term, we took considerable time in carefully researching and selecting suitable contractors. Also, on this list, the first priority was the replacement of the large and well-aged cedar fence around our property. At the end of last year, we finally decided to award the business to Andrew Starke (the owner) of Starke Contracting, due to some excellent references from both reputable firms in the local construction industry and from satisfied customers. This spring, Starke Contracting replaced our old fence with a new one that truly exceeded our expectations. Not only did the new fence meet our extensive requirements for durability, but also, due to some additional structural and cosmetic recommendations from Andrew, is an impressive fence that every passerby compliments us on. Throughout the project, we consistently found Andrew to be very customer-oriented, attentive to customer needs and concerns, and well focused on correct processes and satisfactory product quality. It is certainly clear from our experience of Andrew Starke that he is well focused on customer satisfaction and strives hard to maintain a high level of professionalism. Starke Contracting is a general contractor that we would not hesitate in recommending.

Drew and his team have done a few projects for us. One of which was building a basement with suite under a house we had moved. They also remodeled a small bedroom into a bathroom and walk in closet. On another job, they drywalled a rec room, installed a house full of doors and shored up a droopy end of a house for us, amongst other things. I highly recommend (and have done so) Starke Contracting!

Drew and his crew at Starke Contracting LTD were great to deal with. They were professional, punctual, and most of all, they were personable. Drew met with us to discuss our project (remodelling a shed, and building our dream deck), and not only was he able to turn our ideas into a physical reality, he added some beautiful touches of his own. They are a truly talented bunch (just look at their photos online ????). Came in on time, and more importantly for us….on budget!! Highly recommended!!!
