Hired them because of water issues in the garage. They replaced the drain tile around the garage plus delta membrane which helped but there is still issues with water seeping into the garage. To their credit when they found out what the problem they tried to fix it it. When that didn't work i was told that it wasn't their area of expertise and it is now my responsibility.

I have had a great experience with HoeDown Excavating. After I discovered water ingress into my basement guest suite, I called Tim at HoeDown. Tim came to the house quickly, and spent a good amount of time thoroughly assessing possible repairs. When the situation worsened the following day, Tim sent down Kelly and Serena to begin the remediation work immediately. They carefully dug up one side of the house and assessed the damage. After they knew what they were dealing with, Tim send me a detailed estimate and explained the avenues I could pursue. I chose to do a new partial perimeter drain and a foundation membrane on the right side of the house. Kelly and Serena got to work very fast and finished the trenching and the drain and covered it up in just about two days. They were very careful with the plants they had to remove from the front of my house and they even re-gravelled the portion of my driveway that they had to dig up (for a reasonable fee). Overall, I am very happy with the professionalism, punctuality, and responsiveness of the good people at HoeDown Excavating. I readily recommend them to all home owners in need of drainage or trenching, and I will be making use of their services again.

We are totally thrilled with the work Hoedown has done for us on our steeply sloped property! Tim, the owner, is efficient and fair and willing to listen and consider all possibilities for the best solutions. It is a top notch family owned local business with professional and highly skilled people on their crews. We have a difficult steep property to navigate with lots of tight and challenging areas.... they had a small BobCat in the back of the house area to install new drainage ditches leading to the front slopes and proper drainage installed there. The crew are always smiling and happy as they perform their very hard work, a great team in every sense of the word. Serena is our favourite BobCat Operator and Kelly an exception site manager, communication is extremely good at all levels. We have used Hoedown for two projects now, one smaller and one larger one. Both projects were completed as promised with no issues. Their staff are great, friendly and professional. Both quotes came in slightly below their quotes which was great. Will use them again and would recommend for any excavating/drainage projects.
