The people at Comsense are wonderful and kind. Their product and workmanship are high end and meticulous. The designs I created for my kitchen, bathrooms, closets and walk-in closet were very custom with many intricate details which required very skilled and professional cabinet makers that had the ability to think out of the box. I was lucky enough to work with Master cabinet maker, Blake Belton and his very talented apprentice, Duncan Hague from Comsense. These men were dedicated and masterful. They stayed with me until their work was done to perfection which took a great deal of focus and a keen eye. In addition, my design required adjustments and changes along the way, and both Blake and Duncan along with Marty were very gracious to accommodate with helpful ideas and direction. I would not hesitate to recommend them with Gold Stars. I’d like to add that during the time of my project, the state of the world was that of a pandemic that put us all into to lock down, confusion and fear; our local economy was experiencing unexpected growth, inflation, shortages of raw materials and supplies, not to mention a heat dome that caused record breaking unbearable high temperatures and fires. Even so, Marty and his team at Comsense persevered. On top of everything else, they had the additional struggle with their own internal significant growing pains with many new hires and training required, along with shortages of materials. All of this, yet Marty stayed true to his promised quote to me and did not raise his price. He came through with the completion of my project. Thank you to the entire team at Comsense for making my new home beautiful!

We can't say enough good things about Marty and his crew. From pulling together the initial design (shout out to Bonnie), to the final stages of installing the hardware, they did it all...and exceptionally well. We were after a traditional look (e.g. face-frame cabinets) for our older home and Comsense was the only outfit in town that could meet our vision while staying within our budget (huge price difference compared to competitors). Marty and his crew (especially Balazs) were always very pleasant to work with, happy to answer questions in the evenings and on the weekends, and always going out of their way to make sure we were happy with each deliverable. If we had a concern, it got addressed. We love our kitchen, and the experience we had with Comsense was fantastic. We will be singing their praises for many years to come. Thanks again guys!

Very happy with the process and end product (after starting the process from thousands of miles away). Marty was very accommodating, and although there was some confusion initially due to the distance, Marty and the team were very professional, prompt to address questions and did excellent work. Comsense did a wonderful job with the new kitchen cabinet doors. They fit beautifully. They were installed over 2 days and the installers were very efficient, clean and tidy. The handles and knobs look great. Extra touches were included such as heat shields on the cupboards adjoining the oven. I am so pleased with the finished product. Thank you Marty et al.

Some tricky customization, a few add ons within budget, great suggestions to improve the design and functionality from the whole team, quality product with respectful and talented installers, on time delivery are just a few of my observations. What really impressed me was the quick responsiveness to questions or concerns with the total assurance that the job would not be complete until we were 100% satisfied. This company not only produces exceptional quality cabinets, but also has an amazing team that works so well together. I had a full kitchen and pantry renovation done, along with cabinets added to each side of a fireplace. Angela, the designer, created a perfect layout and design that fulfilled all of my wishes. Marty’s team were meticulous in their work at measuring, finishing, and installing the cabinets. I couldn’t have been more happy with their work. Absolutely no one in Parksville was interested in making me a new single cabinet with microwave sling under it, so it would be legal with my gas range. Marty from Comsense came to my home, priced out a new one and I accepted. The cabinet was PERFECT to the smallest detail. In a word AMAZING! We ABSOLUTELY LOVE our new kitchen!!. Not only is it stunningly beautiful, it is also so much more functional. The team at Comsense truly did an outstanding job, from design, demo of the old kitchen, installation of the new cabinets and the final fit and finish... top class all the way and a joy to work with. Marty even helped us to co-ordinate the other contract services we needed. Special shout out to Blake and Duncan (aka the "Dream Team") for all their hard work.. true craftsmen! When searching for a company to manage the kitchen reno we read these reviews, every one of them made a comment about how great Marty and the team were to work with and how if something wasn't quite right, Marty would make it right... 100% TRUE!! How wonderful to find a company so focused on pleasing their customers. My husband was not keen on the idea of kitchen renovation... in his words "why do you want to change a perfectly good kitchen?" However he understands the concept of "happy wife, happy life" and agreed to proceed... now I think he loves the new kitchen even more than I do (if that is possible ;)) If you are considering a kitchen reno, I highly recommend you give Comsense a call.. it will be the best decision you make in regards to your renovation project.
