Working with Darren, Kyle and Andrew has been wonderful from the start. Darren has been honest and straight forward from the beginning as we began a full house renovation (excavation, house lifting, new foundation, electrical & plumbing upgrade, new roof). Darren worked with us on keeping the big project in budget. The crew was always good about coming up with options to various challenges that came up. We were kept in the loop through every phase and the whole crew had good timely communication. We consider ourselves lucky to have had them for our house project. We highly recommend them.

I am so impressed with Classic Home Renovations I have to tell the world, they deserve 6-stars. First our house is a 3 hour drive from their office/shop and they didn't hesitate to come for an initial look, a second visit for final measuring and then the final installation. I was very impressed with the quality of the cabinets but even more impressed with the team that they sent to do the install. The two guys were meticulous, very respectful of our living space and cleaned up at the end of each day. The finished kitchen is amazing, it exceeded even our wildest expectations. If you are thinking about a home renovation of any kind I would strongly recommend you call Classic Home Improvements you will not be disappointed.

I must also mention that I received very good vibes from this interview so I didn't even get other estimates We came up with a plan and after several changes the plan was decided. We had a bit of a set back due to covid but the project was done and I could not be more pleased!! Kyle and Bruce are excellent employees and make sure everything is done to perfection!! Andrew was also on hand to be sure everything was done properly.. I would not have a problem requesting another project for them to do and I may have a a bathroom reno!!!

When we met with Darren at the Nanaimo office were knew right away that this was the company that we would be using for our full kitchen reno and living room floor re-do. The staff who did the work were very skilled, punctual, easy to talk to, answered all of our questions, were very neat and careful of our house. We have a very unusual and old home so there were some challenges along the way but they were handled in a professional manner. Everyone was very capable and helpful, even suggesting minor changes that had not occurred to us. Your installer, Bruce, is very professional and is meticulous in his work and we are delighted with the final result. Everything is absolutely perfect! Bruce arrived at our home early each day and worked diligently all day. He was polite, cheerful and very respectful of our home, using drop sheets where necessary and leaving our kitchen clean and tidy at the end of each workday. Bruce has an excellent work ethic and is an asset to your company. Greg, who measured for the cupboard refaces and emailed us computerized plans, and Dalan, who delivered the refaces and helped Bruce when he needed another pair of hands, were both capable, knowledgeable and courteous. The Project Manager, Andrew, advised us when the job would be done and it was completed when he promised and for the contracted price. Classic Home Improvements is a professional company with experienced, competent staff. We are happy we engaged your company to do the work. It was important to us to deal with a local company. I highly recommend Classic Home Improvements. The renovations and projects done at my home were everything this company advertises: quality workmanship, projects done on time and on budget, and diverse expertise. The Operations Manager responded to my queries exceptionally quickly; everyone was pleasant, polite, and respectful to deal with; and work areas were left spotless. I dropped in unannounced at their Victoria office one day and was fortunate the owner/President was on site. He graciously stopped what he was doing and showed me samples of cupboard doors and hardware. Later that day he came to my home and provided an in-home consultation and quote. My kitchen reno is fabulous: new cupboard doors and drawers, hardware, laminate countertops, tile backsplash, and ceiling light fixtures. Subsequently, Classic’s contractors removed and replaced laminate flooring, scraped and painted exterior windows and door frames, replaced an exterior staircase to my sundeck including building footings for a concrete pad and step, and built a fence and gate. It seemed no job was too big or too small for Classic. If I had known this process would be so smooth, I would have done these projects a while ago. I recommend this outstanding company without hesitation.

At the outset, we were concerned that, with the job being just a partial reno of our ensuite (shower and double vanity unit replacement only), it would be too small for them to even quote on. They assured us that it was not and throughout the entire process - from estimate through materials selection to completion of the work - their team and their suppliers gave us the time and attention we would previously have expected only on a larger more complex project. They fitted the schedule and lead times around our travel commitments and were always here on time. No surprise the job was completed on time and on budget. Their sub-trades/suppliers were timely, professional and polite. As for their primary tradesman on our job, he was great – kept us involved in any final small but important decisions, polite and friendly, kept the site clean and tidy and delivered excellent workmanship. In short, we are truly delighted with the end result!!

NEW REVIEW: Classic completed a comprehensive kitchen renovation for us just before Christmas 2020. We could not be more delighted with the results! We did our due diligence and received three other quotes before deciding to go again with CHI. Part of our calculus was they had done such a fine job on our first reno so we knew we would be in good hands. They delivered in spades - on budget and within the timeline agreed upon. They are not an 'under promise, over deliver' organization - you get a realistic and agreed upon plan from Darren which is then well executed by the ever reliable and accessible Andrew. Every trade and craft person who came into our home was clean, respectful, Covid aware and efficient!. Well done guys - you get another 'highly recommended' from us! You earned it. The kitchen looks and works beautifully. Classic Home Improvements completed renovations in our home this summer and we are delighted with the results. They are a great company to work with and we are very pleased we chose them. CHI really listens to its client and is very responsive to any input we had throughout the project. Recently we have downsized to a smaller home, in doing so a house inspector said there was A water leak in the bathroom shower. Not knowing who would be able to tear this one apart and do Whatever was necessary for the job, we went to the home show in Duncan. We met Darren there from Classic Home Improvements. He came to our home, took measurements, and gave us various ideas On what could be done. Vanity cabinets from two bathrooms also had to be replaced.
