I am very pleased to provide a review of Bryan's Mechanical. I have been a homeowner in Nanaimo for 16 years and while vacationing out of the country the motor of the furnace in my rented basement apartment developed a loud noise. It was Dec 29, 2021 and snow was on the ground. I called Bryan's because they had excellent reviews. They did not disappoint. Despite the weather conditions, they were able to send a repairman, Geoff, on the same day to assess the situation. Fortunately my house is near their office. Geoff assessed that the motor needed replacement. A motor was ordered and quickly installed 11 days later on Jan 11, 2022 by technician , Lars. My tenant and her adult son interacted with both Geoff and Lars and the office staff who made the appointments. My tenant and her son were impressed & pleased with all times of contact with Bryan's personnel. All this happened while I was OUT OF THE COUNTRY. I am very grateful to Bryan's for this smooth repair service. They were professionals throughout and deserve their excellent reputation. Thank you, Bryan's Mechanical. JL

My Clean Eating Experiment

Bob Bryans and his team are amazing! They are always quick to respond and their work is quality. We had them put in our heating system in our new home and we couldn't be happier. The duct work design was neat & tidy, and they finished on time and on budget. Their 12 year warranty on our gas furnace sweetened the deal! Parts and Labor!

I HAD THIS COMPANY INSTALL THE FURNACE IN OUR NEW HOUSE. A year later when I changed the air filter , to my surprise they had installed an undersized filter in the return air duct, there was a 2 inch gap of air that wasnt filtered. Obviously the workman couldnt take the time to go and get the proper sized filter.

The crew was considerate and asked us if our cats were indoor or outdoor cats and were consistent in ensuring the door was closed each time they came in and out, as to not let them outside. The installation team was top notch - they're professional, efficient and tidy. We have had many furnace checks over the years . Last year we had water which appeared to be coming from under the furnace. We had a reputable company do a check and they did not find anything but suggested the water was coming from the foundation. After doing some perimeter drain work the problem still existed. Dustin from Bryans came yesterday and within half an hour found the problem with the furnace , fixed it and checked other things as part of the service that other companies had not in the past. Dustin was thorough, knowledgeable, efficient and very professional. This company will be my go to from now on!!!

Noticed water coming from our AC unit. Called spoke with a receptionist who was extremely friendly and accommodating. I was able to get a technician to come out that same day! Technician Scott? I believe that’s his bane anyways, was on time, fast and efficient. Turns out I needed to clean my ac filters… since he was there showed my how to change the heating unit filter. Great customer service! Highly recommend. Shout out to: West Temp Heating & Cooling - for recommending Brian’s.

I asked the company to replace the whole system of the heat/air con relocate the new outdoor unit to different place - the marketing man arrived and said all Possible and quoted me for whole package. When the technicians came they said no, bcz they need the power wiring to be close to the new location. It was winter and cold and they did not have electrician so they convinced me that the new outdoor unit is very quite but after installation, it was almost the same noise with the previous one. I told them that they did not do the job as I requested so they deducted 150 dollars for the job of relocation that they did not do. after a while I tried to contact them again and ask to relocate the outdoor unit, they quoted $1500 + the charge of electrician ( i said OK find the electrician and do it, they said we will contact you back, but since then never heard from them). Finally, I contacted another company with so long experience in the field and they came on the same day I requested and did it 3 days afterward with lower cost and nice service. This is the worst service experience i ever had
