Despite the weeks of rain early September, the crew completed the job one day later than the expected completion time!!..Super impressed with the respectful crew and final cleanup. Communication was prompt. Price extremely fair. If you are wary from past experience of many contractors and looking for a roofing business , we can recommend Alpine Roofing of Nanaimo. Kelly is really great and efficient to deal with and Todd and his roofing crew were excellent. Our older 12/12 pitch roof was not easy, but they showed up exactly on time each day, took short breaks, plus were conscientious with an impressive work ethic. The roofers finished ahead of schedule and cleaned up so well, you'd never know they had been there, except for a very nice looking roof.

We selected Alpine from a list of five quotes. Kelly gave us the most precise estimate to the point that there were no questions to ask. Alpines' estimate was not the lowest but was the one that seemed to know exactly what was needed. We did not just need a new roof we had a conversion from cedar shakes to shingles. There is no doubt that we made the correct choice. Alpines' crew worked through extremely poor conditions. They completed our roof over the hottest four of five days I have seen in Parksville. Not only were they hard working and seemed to not notice the extreme heat (they only stopped when the labor law said they had to but started at 6.30 Am to make up) they were also the most courteous workmen I have ever had working on my property. My wife and I were purchasing a home where the inspection report identified the roof was a major concern. I called Kelly due to his great reviews on google to hopefully have him inspect the roof and provide his professional opinion. Kelly answered the call after hours and immediately I knew I was in good hands. He knows his stuff - no better way to put it. He provided me a detailed report that I used in negotiating on the purchase price as the roof needed to be replaced. Further, after we moved in Kelly and his team came in December to replace our roof - I knew I wanted Alpine to do it based on Kelly's professionalism, honesty, and experience. His team were amazing and installed a beautiful roof for a great price. Kelly was upfront about everything and kept me updated each day as they progressed. My roof has incredible ventilation now, is water tight, and looks gorgeous, and I can sleep easy. I will always recommend Alpine to anyone who asks if I know a credible roofing company. Kelly and his crew did an extremely professional, clean, fast, price-conscious job on a small heritage house in Nanaimo in the summer of 2017. They fit the small 2-day job in between other larger projects during a very busy time of the year. They arrived on time, the job was completed on time, the clean up was good. Questions I had were answered by Kelly in an always cheerful and quick manner. He was good enough ahead of time to examine the attic and fascia to determine if there was any other work that needed to be done on the old house, and all this was inside the quote for the roof job. Kelly works with his friend Scotty, and his business 5K gutters, and I got just as great service from that company and owner as well (see separate review).
