Maki Construction was recommended by a friend and we have decided to give them a try. From the first meeting, to the finished project, Mario and his crew were amazing!!!! The project was completed on time and with the price that was agreed. Mario even did some extra work at no additional cost. I highly recommend Maki Construction to anyone looking for a professional and honest conpany.

As newcomers to the renovation experience, my husband and I had a lot of fears, questions, and uncertainty. We therefore wanted to find a team that would be trustworthy and would help us make the right decisions. Maki was definitely that team. We were not disappointed. The extent of our renovation was significant. We did a total renovation of a 1970's home in Mississauga. New exterior, new interior, new windows, wiring, floors... the list goes on. We knocked down walls and added some unique, custom elements, with the guidance of Mario and his team. Very little of our original home remains. To top it off, the entire project was completed in three months - Maki did everything they possibly could to get our family back into our new home as quickly as possible. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. The Maki team gave us 100% and everything has been completed to perfection. The attention to detail is unbelievable. The layout and design of our new home is smart and functional and the various upgrades that were identified for us were completely worth the extra cost. Now that we have settled into our new home, we are able to appreciate the thought that went into the design of it, and our lives have been elevated as a result. We can't recommend the Maki team enough!

When we suddenly found ourselves with a big, empty house after sending our youngest daughter to study abroad, we were faced with a daunting question: do we downsize or we stay and customize our home to our current needs? After meeting with Mario and Linda for our initial consultation, we were convinced we would stay. We proceeded to convert one of the bedrooms into a master walk in closet and re-designed our master ensuite to include a steam shower, sauna and his/her customized private bathroom space. We also replaced our kitchen and created an exquisite entertaining area complete with a servery and a large island perfect for entertaining. Maki team delivered what they promised! We are thrilled to have gone through this process and we love our house again.

I recently had an unfortunate encounter with mold. We had a water leak in the kitchen and a result, a mold in the basement. It was removed, but now our task was to fix everything in the kitchen and in the basement. I found Maki Construction and I was pleasantly surprised. Mario and his team did a great, outstanding job! Everything from the beginning to the end was executed flawlessly. The team who came to do the renovation was friendly and professional. They are polite and always on time. Their project co-ordinator Linda paid attention to every detail and took a good care of our project. The price was not as high as we first expected. And yes, they were on time and on budget. Maki renovated our entire basement. The project included a wine room, recreation room, bathrooms with sauna and steam shower, exercise room and shop. The design was very ergonomic and tasteful. I bought a house from MAKI ,only half a year the basement leaks , tube hide in the wall , water damage the wall and floor . I call Mr. Mario many many times not answered. I am so disappointed.

We are very pleased with our renovated kitchen and the high quality of the finished product. Although the renovation took longer than anticipated, the final product is what counts. We appreciated that Mario offered his ideas and suggestions on the renovation rather than simply go with a more simple remodel as was the case with another company we had considered using. One of his ideas, raising the ceiling and removing the bulkhead, has made a big difference to the overall feel of the kitchen. During the reno, all necessary furniture and floors were well covered and there was never any damage. Trades people were all quite pleasant to work with and would come to the house at a mutually agreed upon time. Despite a few hiccups, Maki construction is professional and stands behind their work, offering a 2 year warranty and ensuring that the customer is fully satisfied.

We chose Maki as we found both Mario and Samira (his wife) trustworthy. They certainly lived up to our expectation. Mario and his team are very professional and have high integrity. I liked Maki Construction's vision for my kitchen the best and while their estimate was not the cheapest, it was the most detailed and seemed to leave very little room for any big surprises. BEST BEST Experience ever working with Maki Construction!!! The entire process from estimating to selecting materials ,design and completion of the work on schedule was the most enjoyable and easiest renovation I have ever done from Start to Finish . I’ve done many renovations, and never thought that I could have all the work done in three weeks; 2 bathrooms, hardwood floors throughout , 2 new oak staircases and so much more . This contractor has no regard for the permit process with the City of Mississauga. They are currently on a project at 1414 Indian Grove, the property has been issued an order to comply and yet their crew is currently working on the property. City has not released the order!
