Time wasters and Liers. Booked for basement and side entrance quote friday evening Sep 20 .. noone showed up i called and left message Saturday 21st. Somone called tuesday and said i had misunderstanding and my appt was 27 friday evening. Never mind i could be wrong so i said i am fine with Sep 27. No one showed up again no phone calls. So its evident that these guys are time wasters and lied to me that i had misunderstanding. I doubt how they have these many good reviews. If this is there professionalism and service standard before getting my business i can well imagine afterwards.

Our experience with this company was horrible. They started work a month late, the guy who installed the floors had a horrible temper and threatened us and other guys working with him, they're not well organized, they extorted money and then threatened to sue us if we didn't pay for unjustified claims and they still haven't come to repair damages a month later. Overall unprofessional work, bad accounting and horrible behaviour. I wouldn't recommend this company even as a last resort.

I had a bad experience with another company while renovationing my floors. FREEBASEMENT was referred by few people to me so i called them in for a estimate and was overall impressed with them and contracted them for our work. Their were some problems but Sandy (office manager) acted to fix things as soon as i informed her about it... and that was great and very satisfying. My wife is usually very picky about finishes and all but Freebasement left her shut. Great job guys!!!

BEWARE! This is a very unprofessional company! This people that own this company only have a contract that is not legal at all. The person who started working in my basement did not have license in electrical, plumbing or HVAC. They put all the garbage behind my drywalls. The worst company if that's what they call themselves. Hirring a good contractor was a big decision for me as i got a new house so i wanted the basement to be a reflection of my house upstairs with quality work and modern finishes..... i am happy to have hired Freebasement as they did all the work professionally like my builder... I find that Freebasement stands somewhere in the middle with regard to prices, they are not the cheapest but not the most expensive either AND provide high-end/modern finishes.. you will definetly get what you pay for with them

A few months ago we completed a renovation of an old bungalow, that was initially planned to be a small kitchen and bathroom re-work, and turned in to a down to the stud total renovation, which also included walls being removed and supporting beams/new load walls installed. I had initially decided to try and contact all the trades out myself, and quickly realized I was in over my head, and needed a professional. Luckily a co worker got me in touch with free basement renovation. He and his crews were amazing. All of the work was completed very professionally and of utmost quality.
