Martin is an absolute genius! He worked with me to create a design for my kitchen that is both stylish and functional. He was able to reuse many of my existing cabinets, restructuring and refinishing them to reduce overall costs, and he realized every one of my (sometimes far-fetched) ideas. The poured-in-place custom concrete countertops, the handcrafted maple island top, the brick veneer backsplash, and the lovely oiled birch hardwood floor make jaws drop every time someone sees them. I'm still in awe myself! From home renos to custom masonry to building custom furniture for your space, Martin can do it all and to a level of precision and artistry that is unparalleled in my area. Do yourself a favour and call him before you take on your next home project. You will not regret it!

Martin from Byrdzeye industries is a one in a million contractor. I have never seen a contactor pay attention to detail and take pride in his work as Martin did. Martin went way above and beyond my expectations with the quality of work and the execution of that work. He even cleaned up after every days work. No debris layinjg around, no equipment, everything neat and tidy and covered....every day. He is awesome at being prompt, he gets back to you when he said he would, he returns call and other contractors could take a lesson from this. Martin is a perfectionist and will not leave the job until it has met his level of expertise. His pricing is very competitive and in fact I think he spent a little longer at our job than he anticipated but did not change the invoice. He charged us exactly what he quoted even though there was probably an increase in some of the building materials. I would not hesitate to recommend Martin for any job however small or large. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job! Martin can be summarized in two words - details and execution - Martin is extremely creative and hard working. He built us a beautiful reclaimed dining room table, bench and coffee table for our new home. The entire experience was amazing and exciting. In the initial stages, he sent us many drawings and once we finalized the design, he worked endlessly to sand, stain and finish the furniture pieces to exactly how we envisioned it. What really impressed me was how he was able to solve all the minor technical problems (adding extensions etc.,) along the way and come up with brilliant solutions that maintained a contemporary sleek look. We’ve already started working on the next project with Martin! It’s obvious that he’s truly passionate about his work. I highly recommend his services!
