When I phoned, immediately the staff were concerned about tarping my roof to minimize damage as the forecast was calling for several days of rain. They assessed the roof the same day I called and had my quote to me the same day. I really felt through every step of the process that they wanted my business. I received updates about when they would be able to come do the roof and they sent me pictures of the finished product. And as a lovely surprise, they found they didnt have to replace all of the sheathing so my final invoice was less than expected! I have only good things to say about this company. South Peak employee called to establish a time and arrived on time. He reviewed the required work to be done on the eavestrough and then explained how he would accomplish the job. He also volunteered to remove some old eavestrough material as well he left the job without any messes. The work was completed with efficiency and high quality. After the work he explained what he had done installing new troughs on a garage and showed the product he used to repair a leak in a corner joint on the house.

They replaced our roof, added multiple vents, replaced many exterior windows and doors, replaced the siding, painted our stucco to match our new siding, added a ton of rock work and fixed issues as they were seen. South peak roofed our old place after getting hail. We moved to a new place that needed the shingles done and they were my only call to get it done. They did a great job again. Cleaned up gutters, flowerbeds, lawn and graveled areas. I havent found a nail yet. They had to deal with rain and plus 30 all in the same week and still got the job done well and on time.

The work crew showed up early and got to work in short order. Each individual appeared to understand their role and they worked very well together completing the job quickly. The old material was removed quickly with individuals cleaning as they went to minimize site debris. While the job size (and heat) required them to come back a second day they left the roof well secured for the night. They undertook a very thorough site clean up at the end of their second / final day. I / we were very impressed and pleased with the quality of work and the way the entire job has been managed and handled from start to finish. Dave and his team were good to work with! Dave was extremely professional, kind and had a good sense of humour. I went with their second best option, which of course is a bit more in price but the warranty that they provide with the product was exceptional. I look forward to not needing to worry about my roof for many many years! His team were in and out in two half days. Would have been done in one day I am sure, if it weren’t for the wind picking up. They did a fantastic job cleaning up around the ground. I did not find any nails really on the ground. When I went on to my roof to inspect the job I was fairly satisfied with their work! The gutters needed a good cleaning once they were finished their job though. This was never discussed in the job scope prior, nor did I think about it either since I had never had a roof redone before. That is alright though. I would recommend using these guys in a heartbeat though. It was a pleasure to work with them.

He was even covering my tablesaw that another contractor had been using as he did not want to risk it's getting wet overnight. It was all about little details to get it right. We appreciated it. Jeromy then came back the next afternoon with another fellow (can't remember the name) and did some sofit and fascia work. Our looks great and we are now much better prepared for the winter and spring that are coming. I have zero complaints.

South Peak did a fantastic job on my roof, very professional to deal with and very quick to do the job. Had all of the hardware and shingles craned on my roof one day, and installed the next. My only complaint is that now I am finding used roofing nails, and shingle garbage scattered all around my house. About 2 handfuls of plastic and old shingle material, and about a dozen nails so far have blown off and I’m finding them in my back yard and drive way. I stepped on one (thank god I had my boots on), I know that roofing nails are hard to keep track of because of how many they remove and install but this is my only gripe.(Edit) 10 minutes after I posted this South Peak sent a guy over to clean. I am impressed!

Because my roof replacement was result of an insurance claim and South Peak Roofing is a preferred roofer for my insurance company, I originally assumed the two would work together to minimize any settlement for me. I was wrong! Not only did South Peak assess damage to my roof but damage to everything else on the property and sent pictures to my insurance company in support. This made discussions with insurance claim adjuster so much easier. We are most pleased with the quality of our new roof and we were most pleased with the professionalism, courtesy, and commitment of South Peak to get the job done as promised. And guess what...not one loonie added on to the invoice compared to the estimate for the job!

Dave came to the house, sent me some options and called me in to discuss what he could do, what different shingles were available and really did a full customer service job. Did a wonderful job on the actual roof, struggled with being told they would contact me after Christmas and it took me reaching out end of January (because I was waiting for a message from them) to *actually* get a time scheduled after waiting for 4 months. One of their workers got up on the wrong house’s roof which I also think should be noted as that raised my own concerns of that happening again and pissing my neighbours off. + they we’re asking me to have things done at my house after telling them i was at work and busy, just to then after making it all work and do what they needed to be done, being told that I would have to wait because they were busy with something else. We can’t say enough about Dave & the South Peak crews. Right from the get go, Dave asked questions to understand the work we needed done and provided great advice. He walked us through the available options and helped us choose the right colour of shingles, eaves & downspouts. Since our shingle colour was changing, Dave helped make sure the whole aesthetic of our house matched the new vision. The metals crew also suggested reworking a downspout so it was less intrusive in our yard. Both the roofing crew and the metals crew were polite, friendly and professional. They made sure to keep us informed as the work progressed and thoroughly cleaned up our property each time a portion was completed. After buying the home recently, we knew the shingles were deteriorating, but after a recent rainstorm and a leak in the house was detected, it was clear that the rood would have to be repaired at once. After phoning several companies and leaving a message, South Peak (recommended by a friend) was the only company to return my call that morning, they were on site later that day, supplied a great quote that afternoon and were able to fit it into their schedule within a week. The shingles and crew arrived on schedule, the crew was friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. They explained what they were doing and addressed a few things they discovered doing the work. it was very impressive to watch how quickly they worked with out compromising quality, they had the work done and totally cleaned up the yard (you would even know they were there) within 5 hours. The results are amazing, it was quite a transformation. Neighbors and passersby commented on how good it looks as well. We are looking forward to South Peak doing the garage in the spring. Would that all businesses should conduct themselves in such a manner! In the end I got more for my money than I had originally anticipated.
