Furnace went over the holidays... came home to a furnace backed up with gas and (literally) spitting fire. I have three kids ages 4 and under so the prospect of no heat during the -30 spell we had at the end of December was terrifying to say the least. I called Marvelous plumbing because I needed a 24-hour service call (it was 5pm). Within 3 hours, I had the owner (Craig) at my house fixing my furnace well past 9 pm. My wife and I decided it was time to retire our current furnace (23 years old) because it felt like a never ending money pit. The owner didn't charge us for the late night callout since we agreed to change out the furnace entirely. All things considered, I believe the price of service was fair and affordable. Not to mention Craig (owner) and Troy (top HVAC install guy) were wonderful to talk to and offered friendly service. I am happy with how things turned out in the install. It is easy to see why Marvelous Plumbing comes so highly recommended!! On a side note for those interested, some of the main furnaces Marvelous plumbing installs are Trane products. From what I researched Trane comes highly regarded with wonderful warranty (10 years on parts and install, lifetime on heat exchanger).

I needed a hot water heater replaced. I contacted three places for quotes. Marvelous was the cheapest and for the same brand of tanks, so that was a plus. They gave me an upgraded water heater for the same price as it had a little dent in it. Awesome, more hot water for me! Unfortunately the tank was a little damaged and the guys had to spend a lot of extra time trouble shooting and fixing it, which delayed my day and really delayed theirs too. However they stuck it out and got the job done, so I appreciated that. Water heater has been working well for a couple weeks now. They did arrive about 45 minutes later than scheduled, but called ahead to let me know they were running late. I would use them again based on my experience, as they made things right in the end.

Changed out the Hot Water Tank, work was professional & price was very reasonable & in my budget. Not happy with my experience. Essentially paid for service I did not receive installing a dishwasher and the people that came by also damaged my brand new stovetop installing a hood fan. I did not pay for my bill for quite some time and had to end up tracking the owner down in a parking lot which we agreed that I would pay if he at least fixed the dishwasher install. Never heard back from him and ended up paying another plumber to install the dishwasher properly. He called me as he became aware the bill was outstanding for almost two years. The thing that makes me angry is he did not call me to settle things up or to make sure I was actually happy as a customer but only called to get me to pay. I paid my bill to get this guy out of my life. Never again will I use this company.

Craig was on time ,knowledgeable and honest. The gas furnace in my garage was inspected, tested and repaired quickly. He didn't try too fix/replace things that didn't need to be fixed or replaced. I will be using their service again with no hesitation.

Five days After installation of AC it stopped working..They came back and then it started working again...he said it was my filter my thermostat, didn't have my vents opened right and I had left the basement door opened when I went down that was a problem.. Never had a problem when my old ac was in.. Three of my grandkids were there and when he left they were upset at how rude he had been.. The AC worked for about a month then it quit and then it started working then about 3 weeks it quit again.. Each time I text and informed him... He told me it was my thermostat not his equipment meaning the AC unit.. The thermostat was changed and it still didnt work.. When I told him he asked what it was that I wanted him to do.. By this time my frustration level was bad... I was very convinced that there was a problem with the AC...He then said it could be something in the furnace.. I then called another company who came opened it up checked to see if there was power to find the fan control cracked... Replaced it and now it works... They have lousy customer service....

Should definitely be more 5 star reviews. Called Craig about my hot water tank not working. He was here that very same day. I had previously got my hot water tank fixed two weeks ago by another company however they did not say what the problem was or what they did to fix it and charged me 100 bucks (now two weeks later same problem). Craig showed up, showed me what the problem was, the solution and did not even charge me ! Craig stayed a bit and chatted, very professional plumbing company and I HIGHLY recomend choosing this company over any in medicine hat/redcliff area.

We are putting up the in-laws house for sale and we found a leak on the kitchen sink drain. Organized the repair. The fellas showed up and under closer inspection found the drain had not been glued, only pressed together. The brought out a tube of solvent fitted it together and voila the leak was repaired. To top it off there was no charge. How often does this happen? With this kind of work ethic I would recommend them for any heating and plumbing repair. Cheers

One of our pipes sprung a leak in the evening and the only way we could stop it was by turning off water to the house One phone call later and the Marvelous plumbers were over in less than 30 minutes and had the pipe repaired and functioning in no time at all! They were friendly and super awesome for helping us out in a bind! We plan on going to them for all our future plumbing needs in the future. They truly were Marvelous!

Craig and his guys were there right away providing Us with every possible option for repair and educating us on the pricing between a new furnace or the repair , upon even further inspection it was clear a new furnace was the best solution . Trying to get ahold of Marvelous as a whole was difficult. I understand everyone is busy, so just understand you might have to wait awhile even though they are 24hr. We used Marvelous Plumbing and Heating for the first time recently on two occasions. The first was to replace an outdoor frost free tap which was leaking and the second to install a dishwasher. On both occasions the service was excellent.. It was prompt absolutely on time. Dwayne was friendly, excellent, knowledgeable and reliable. The fee wasreasonable as well. Craig - this is Chad. I wanted to address your lies on your response to my review. Number 1 you have had my phone # and have called me on the same a few times to discuss my bill. Number 2 I watched you write my number down when I came to see you in the parking lot at TD bank so we could reach an agreement on your bill. Number 3 I paid Bruce’s Sewer service to fix my dishwasher and I watched him drive the screws up which you staff said they did and obviously lied as it took him about 5 minutes to fix. As stated I wanted you out of my life so I paid your bill that you failed to address for two years. Despite the acrimony of our relationship I do wish you the best moving forward but you really should take some accountability for the poor performance here.

Well unfortunately I did not have the same experience as everyone else. I called them and set up a date on a Friday, I was bumped because of a heating emergency which I completely understand. The problem I have is that they didn’t call me about the emergency, I had to call them. I was told they would call me back on the following Monday. It’s been 5 days and still no callback. I’m very disappointed, a phone call only takes a minute. Needless to say I’ve already contacted another plumber.

Ian, the Technician, was friendly and efficient. It looks so much better than the old installation. The cost was very reasonable with no added fees.
