Marc and James were here right on time and very professional.. I work the night shift so my sleep time is usually during the day . Well once they were in and went over a few things with me I went to sleep and didn't hear a thing. They installed a new furnace a hot water tank and central air, plus some new duct work . Once they were done they cleaned up everything and you couldn't even tell that they were here . Everything is working good and I couldn't be happier with the service. Fantastic! Our hot water heater broke last night, and they were able to come out an hour and a half after I called. The dispatcher was actually able to put me on the phone with the plumber to get an estimate, (although it was rough, as sight unseen) The plumber was Jeff. He was friendly and super knowledgeable. Although I was nervous about calling because of the other low reviews, my partner and I were very pleased with the service we received.

Our furnace broke down and we needed a new one. We went to 3 other companies beforehand but had issues with financing. They pretty much told us we were out of luck. And sorry we would have to stick out the cold Manitoba winter without a furnace. We called Winnipeg supply I explained the situation and Shaun said "we will make it happen" and he did! He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we had our furnace installed right away. Ian and collin installed our furnace and removed the old one. When they left the area was cleaner than when they came lol. Their rental program is easy, energy efficient and affordable. Great customer service!! We will be loyal customers for life from now on.

Called these guys on Saturday to look at my heating blowing just cold air. The technician came, looked at it for about 1h30m and could not find the problem, He told me, "It might be the relays, I'll call you Monday for the estimate". Monday, he did call me, but to tell me I don't know what the problem is. Call somebody else. But, charged me for nothing. Bottom line, spend $110 and I have spend it again with another company. CALL ANOTHER COMPANY, IT WILL SAVE YOU $100+

Had Jeff come out today to replace our old hot water tank which was on the point of failing. He was great tech to talk with well he was at our house. Danny was out yesterday to do our annual maintenance on the furance & A/C when he noticed the hot water tank was at the point of replacement. I called Donna yesterday an she was able to schedule me for today. Thank you to all of staff for your speedy service in helping us avoid flood from the leaking hot water tank. I wouldighly recommend Winnipeg Supply to anyone looking for fast an knowledgeable courteous technicians. I have been using Winnipeg Supply for the last six year now. Without any problems! Once in a while you stumble across those companies who still believe in exceptional customer service. From our initial service call with Mike we were impressed with his courteous and professional demeanor. Mike showed us exactly what was wrong with the old furnace and put us in touch with Stephen. If you are like me I generally ask 1001 questions when I have concerns which effect my overall comfort and security level. After I decided that the old furnace was unsalvagable I was given the contact info of Stephen the Sales Rep. Every step of the way I felt like I was in control and was never given the impression that I was being pressured into a sale. Stephen clearly stated what my best options were from a finance/rental perspective and a product difference perspective. In the end I felt I made the right choice for what was required for my home and Stephen being very knowledgeable gave us all the information to make an educated decision. After all this anyone would be pleased at the level of customer satisfaction, but readers I tell you it got even better! Finally Trevor and Matt came out the day of install. Both Trevor and Matt really understood the sense of urgency. There is no greater wrong than a furnace breaking down in the middle of a Winnipeg winter! Not only were these two efficient, their level of craftsmanship had my basement looking even better than when they began. (This is coming from a maticulously clean individual). And again, I was blown away by the professionalism, knowledge, and genuine concern for my comfort. Every now and again we are pleasantly reminded that there are those companies who still believe in exceptional customer service which in this case, incidentally is end to end. Needed a new furnace and AC unit, they came out quickly and did a great job on the installation (Excellent sheetmetal work). Also one of the few HVAC companies that offer heat pumps in Winnipeg although the Carrier units they carry are not rated for our winter conditions like Mitsubishi's are. Needed a service call about 8 months after the new units were installed and they had a tech out within two hours who located and fixed our issue. Very happy with this company.

Was charged $100 for someone to come out and give me a quote on some work. Technician was here for 15 mins and said I would be contacted in a few days. Someone called and gave me a price so I asked for him to email it to me to have it in writing. I attached a screen shot of his "quote". When I asked for a more detailed scope of work to be done he said he would get back to me and never did. Total waste of time and money.

Our furnace was very old and it was located in a very tight area to work in Trevor P. and Mike M. came down and did such a fantastic job! super friendly and they did such a fast job. We bought the nest thermostat (internet friendly) Even tho it wasn't their product they installed it and took care of all the wiring and setup we are extremely happy with the work they did and our new Furnace....Thanks guys you are both great....had to add to my review ...anyone who has installed a new furnace knows you have to have hydro come down and inspect the work and give out red tags if anything needs adjusting ...well hydro came down and not 1 red tag excellent installation work very impressed with Winnipeg supply

Winnipeg Supply is great! I came back from vacation in February to find my furnace had stopped working. I called and they arrived within an hour, diagnosed all issues and went above and beyond to help me out. They installed a new furnace the next day and fixed my frozen pipes. I also purchased central air which was installed this week. Trevor and Matt arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled window and installed the unit. They were all friendly and did a great job. I had a furnace installed in December and it's been one problem after another. Instead of drilling a hole in the back wall for the vent as promised, they drilled into a side wall without asking. The motor is loud and the vent whistles. The unit makes a banging noise when it starts and ends a heating cycle. I mentioned it to the salesperson twice, was promised that someone would come out and install braces on the ducts and no one ever came. The monthly payment was calculated incorrectly so they had to come out with a new form. Their billing company STILL hasn't taken any pre-authorized payments. I received assurances last month that it was fixed but just received another bill in the mail. I left a voicemail for the manager two business days ago and received no response. I tried to use the online text option to speak to a representative and gave up after waiting for 5 minutes. What horrible service. I regret using this company.

We purchase a new furnace and A/C. The sale rep Stephen Klopak was very knowledgeable, took a lot of time to answer all our questions and explain all the option for the furnace and A/C. He took great notes that when the crew came to do the install, everything went supper fast. The Install crew Trevor and his assistant Hoang, did an awesome job and paid great attention to detail. They asked me before drilling any new hole in my house and discuss at length where and why the furnace and A/C where being install as they are now. They also answered all my question which I'm sure at the end annoyed them. Over all great work and excellent attitude. We had to place a service call approx one week after the initial install, the issue was the A/C was taking a long time to cool the house down. One quick phone call to the office, they said we will call you back. They called back with in 30 min and had a tech dispatched to my house later in the same day. The tech Andrew did a double check of the whole system and made a few minor adjustment which solved the problem. Again great company to deal with, friendly prompt service from the whole staff. Last night my water tank showed signs of leaking. At first I called City Wide thinking they were Winnipeg Supply. Terrible customer service. Thankfully I submitted an online request from WS's website. Promptly the next morning I received a call and the salesman was in my house by 9:00 a.m. It is noon at the moment and the plumber is installing my new tank. Easy peasy. Excellent customer service. Reliable and quick. Winnipeg Supply is my new provider of HVAC and related services. Getting a new central air installed in the spring. Winnipeg Supply will have my business for certain. Thank you!!

The furnace was a headache for 14 years. Problems began after the first year. All the people I'd called came, and told me what the previous person had done incorrectly. Furnace would run for the winter season, and BANG! Problems the next winter. Switched to call Winnipeg Supply for maintenance in 2019. They did good, and this year in September, the maintenance person told me that it was on its last legs. After all the problems I'd had since the install, I knew this to be true. So when it stopped working again in November 2020, I called WS and told them it was time for a new furnace. The salesperson came out, told me about my options, and even got the furnace running again. Very important to have in November! Furnace ran for several days, only giving up about 36 hours before scheduled install. He scheduled install before the hydro loan was approved, to ensure I would have a spot. I really appreciated that. Then, I forgot the install date, and called them a day before to ask where they were. The office staff told me that it was the next day, and then OFFERED to bring out space heaters for me to use until the next day. I declined, as I have 2 heaters, and figured we could last 1 day without heat. But what a nice thing to offer! The 2 service people who installed the new furnace completed everything in the morning. And, they arrived on time! Took away old furnace, installed new, and took the time to show me how the thermostat worked, and showed me all the work they did downstairs. Told me the previous furnace was installed and not levelled. NO WONDER SO MANY PROBLEMS! They were professional, quick, polite and I felt like for the first time in 14 years my furnace was in good hands. Included in the purchase was 4 furnace filters, and 10 year warranty on parts and labour! You can't beat that. About the furnace - it's high efficiency, and so was the last one - for the first time in 14 years, the heat is EVEN throughout the house. Previously, the basement was always about 5 degrees warmer than the first floor, and the second floor 5 degrees cooler. Now, IT"S ALL THE SAME. My house was built in 1909, so now I know I have a GREAT FURNACE and GREAT INSTALL. I love WINNIPEG SUPPLY company and your staff! I have found my lifetime furnace / air conditioning company. I will never call another company again.

His quote was the cheapest amongst four other companies I called. Not only that, he did the service on a weekend, whereas the others were weekdays only. Mark did an amazing job. It may seem odd, but they are getting a good rating because they did nothing. The on line "chat" on the tech help page seemed to be nothing more than a booking site, there was no attempt to trouble shoot or connect me to a specialist, they simply offered to book an appointment. This may have been because I called on a Saturday, maybe they have better resources during the week. They made the costs clear and since I was not in an emergency situation I opted to wait a few days and have their tech visit on a Tuesday. They called early, saying the day was going well and could they come early, which was nice, but once here the tech appraised the situation and went to check. I had told the chat/booking agent that I had a dual function geothermal system but it turns out they cannot service such a system. The tech apologized for the wasted time and assured me that there would be no charge for the service visit. He did recommend a different company that I ended up declining to use as their payment process was very biased and would have left me in an untenable situation if there was any problems with their work.

Winnipeg Supply installed a new Furnace, A/C and Water Heater today! Very friendly service ... Mark, Colm and Deran were happy to answer every question I had! When the installation was complete, Mark gave a thorough walk through explaining every aspect of the install that I as the home owner would need to know! He went over how to use the new thermostat and connected to the wifi so I could control it with an app on my phone. When on holidays I can now check the home temperature to make sure all is OK! Couldn’t be happier!

Plumber showed up and said that he would not be able to fix pipes as they were inaccessible due to a sub floor. I asked if he could shut off main water and he said he wouldn’t touch it because of lead pipes. I ended up calling Balcaen and sons who sent down a plumber who did both shut off water and fix the leak. My pipes were not lead and he accessed it without the excessive work that Winnipeg Supply plumber said would need to happen. Unsure if Winnipeg supply was lazy or inexperienced or didn’t want business as it was after hours on long weekend but disappointed regardless.

First of all Andrew came to clean our 15-year-old Lennox furnace. A 90-minute appointment turned into 2 hours at no extra cost. He went over everything in fine detail, gave us pointers on what to watch out for, and breathed a little extra life into our furnace to hopefully get it to last another few years before we need to replace it. He even changed the batteries in the thermostat! A few days later we had Shaun come by to give us a quote for a new air conditioner. There was no pressure to buy, but he sold us a Lennox air conditioner without even breaking a sweat! Shaun was very professional, knowledgeable, and took his time to answer every question and to assure us that they stand behind their products. He educated us on the different models and their capabilities and encouraged us to buy the right fit for our needs. He also assured us of a followup appointment after the installation was complete to ensure we were happy with everything. John and Marc were the service technicians that installed our new air conditioner a few days later, and they completed the job professionally and much quicker than we anticipated. They even hauled away our old one and gave us tips on how to keep everything running efficiently. We have never had a bad experience with this company. They treat you like family and certainly deserve the Five Stars we're giving them!

I have never had any issues with Winnipeg Supply. I put in a brand new Furnace, A/C, and hot water tank in summer of 2015. I received the first complimentary service and tune up in summer of 2016. It was done very thoroughly and meticulously. So I purchased extended service plan for all the units. Tim came last week to perform the annual first check and tune up as part of this extended service plan. As with previous technicians, he did a very meticulous and complete job. And he cleaned and inspected the units with great care. I would definitely recommend Winnipeg Supply to anyone. Since it won't let me add another review, I had to update this one. Don Dewar from Winnipeg Supply performed the annual maintenance on my AC this year, and like all other Winnipeg Supply techs, he was thorough, professional, and very open with sharing his knowledge and findings freely. Definitely five stars and highly recommended. Another update - Winnipeg Supply has never failed me in almost 20 years. Five+ stars, and definitely recommend. Thanks to ALL Winnipeg Supply staff for fantastic service over the last two decades.

I had a thermostat not working properly at one of my rental properties today. I called Winnipeg Supply to get them to check it out. I called them this morning, and I was able to leave my number for them to call me back. I was able keep my spot in the queue, so a huge plus to not have to wait on hold. When they called me back, the lady I spoke to was incredibly friendly and professional, and she was able to send a technician out to my rental property this afternoon to see what the issue was. After the technician finished up at the property, he called me to let me know what the problem was and what he did to fix it (turns out the thermostat needed to be replaced), he gave me the total balance owing for the job (which was very reasonable) and was able to email me my receipt. He was very nice, and he gave me a few recommendations on future maintenance. Also they offer 5 year warranty on their thermostats which is great. Overall I’m Very happy with the extremely quick, friendly, and professional service I received (keep in mind all of this happened in one business day). I will definitely be using their services again.

This review is for Winnipeg Supply and the four gentlemen who worked on and assisted me with the switch to a new furnace and A/C. First, Winnipeg Supply has been my go to for service cleaning of my units for the past 12 years and each time I have had great service. The Techs always cleaned up as if they had not been there. This last service was done by Donny who brought to my attention that the furnace had some water damage down the pipes and oil leakage from the engine compartment which meant that the furnace may or may not make it through the winter. The A/C although be old was still in good shape and would last a few more years. With his recommendation, I asked to have a sales person come out to discuss the issue and how the pipes would be laid as I live in a condo complex and this can become tricky when having to put holes in the outside of the building. Brent was fabulous and patient in answering all my questions and helping me understand what changes would occur in the basement depending on the direction the pipes would be going for outside venting. Two hours later I was satisfied with the answers Brent gave and signed up for a new furnace and A/C since the price difference to include the A/C was minimal. Out came Trevor and Matt to install the new furnace and A/C. Upon arrival They reviewed of the furnace's location and my question of a possible better way to direct the pipes to outside, Trevor said he would have recommended my possible solution had I not brought it up as he had done many furnace installs in the complex and fully understood the structure of the basements. While Trevor worked on the Furnace, Matt worked on the A/C and after six hours of steady work both were completed and the guys cleaned the both sites to perfection. I will use Winnipeg Supply until the company goes out of business, which I hope it never does. The Service and the knowledge of the members that passed through my doors over the last 12 years is top notch!

Purchased a Mitsubishi slim Ac from Winnipeg supply back in April. It was installed in our upstairs and the place that it was installed does not create sufficient cooling for our upstairs, but there is nothing they can do so we're told unless we the homeowner want to pay to have it moved. They should have advised us to put it elsewhere if this was the case. The finished install looked terrible there was an excess amount of puddy around the unit, we complained and they agreed to put a decrotive piece of medal around it. They were suppose to come weeks ago to install this piece but after them calling and cancelling 4 times last minute (sat at home waiting all day for them) they finally just showed up without even calling at 8am installed the new piece which looks a bit better but still not really clean looking. They damaged the walls so now we need to repaint and also damaged our brand new laminate floors my husband had just installed in March. After spending thousands of dollars with this company I am not at all impressed. They are super disorganized and not willing to help customers once they have installed a unit. Customer service is just poor. The sales department seems to be the only ones who have got it right.

We were having an issue with one of our bathroom's leaking water. We called and the representative on the phone assured that they would be able to help us after we explained the issue in detail and that they would be dispatching someone to help us shortly. So we waited for a while, and told other plumbing companies we'd inquired with that we were set with this company and that we didn't need any other services. And then eventually after a while, we received a call back from the Winnipeg Supply Service Experts saying that actually they would be unable to help us with no other explanation. Had to call back twice to get an actual reason for why they would not be able to help us. By then it was too late to call other plumbing companies and have them come out on the same day. Very disappointing, would recommend that all representatives are aware of what they can and can not do, before making any promises to avoid wasting anybody else's time in the future.

CALL HERE FIRST!! Very happy with our service work. A technician (Mike) was out the same day we put in the call for service. He was very nice, and treated or house as if it were his.Very respectful, did great work, and did not try to sell us a whole new furnace.( which I was expecting would happen, from previous companies used) Mike got our furnace up and running the same day. If there a downside to the whole situation, it would be, he didn't have the part on the truck to do the fix right away, he had to run back to the shop to get it. But that is not a negative on him. We can't expect a tech to have every part for every furnace,a/c and water heater in the whole city. We are very happy with Mike and how he represented his company, we will definitely be calling again if more service is needed in the future, or when we need to upgrade to newer equipment.

Bad Service Experts. They wore there boots on in winter threw my house and did not clean or wipe any thing up. Dirt all over my basement and stairs. They left screw's metal clippings and plastic junk all over the floor. 2 weeks after the install i found a Tim's coffee in the corner, full of mold by that time. They had to drill threw my wall to the outside. Cracked my wall on the outside. left rocks and screws in my grass. 2 days after install sales rep shows up to see how it went told him all this and he laughs, did they do any thing right. laughs after i pay $5000.00 he said some one would show up Monday to fix the outside wall. then never showed up. last time i ever deal with them. bunch of young kids, dont care

Excellent, genuine, efficient and professional right from the service workers to the sales rep. I have three fur babies (cat and dog) and they were fine with them wandering and checking them out. The sales rep Shaun was very friendly and knows how to be around yappy dogs. And he takes the time to assess what the situation is and recommendations of the services person. At the end I was offered three options AND the option to purchase or rent. I needed a new furnace and air conditioner and ended up getting an air exchanger. I’m a single income home owner and the option to rent the entire systems was my choice. I make reasonable monthly payments (I was going to anyway when I thought I was going to purchase) and I never have to pay additional fees if anything breaks down or pay for another air filter for another 2 to 4 years. They give you an extra one with the new system. I’m very happy with the service and efficiency of the company employees and the products. And the fact that I could rent. I’ve had the three systems since August.

They kept their promise and was easy to work with, would deal with them again when needed. Here was my experience with them: My AC condenser unit was leaking so I wanted to repair it without having to replace the unit as it was only 7 years old. Saw on their website that they provide repair to condenser coil and re-charge refrigerant. Call them up to make an appointment and asked the operator if they can repair leaking condenser coils, and was told yes. I specifically told the operator I didn't need any diagnostic done as I already know what the issue is with my AC, I just wanted to have the coils repair and the refrigerant recharged because it was leaking. She said ok and took my contact info and booked me in. On the day of the appt. I had the unit all ready to go with the covers off for the technician. As soon as he saw the leak, he told me I needed a new unit. He did a quick pressure test and that was pretty much it. I was told I had to pay for the service call, and I did because I didn't want to have a confrontation with the technician in person. He was overall, very polite and seem to be just doing his part. I contacted the office and spoke to a supervisor name Jeremy , I explained to him the situation and he was very helpful as well, willing to listen. He told me that they can't promise the coils can be repaired without looking at it first, especially when there's visual leak. I wish someone would've told me that when I book the appointment this way I wouldn't have wasted my time and money. I probably would just get someone to come down and give me a free estimate on a replacement. He was understanding enough to say since their operator didn't mentioned that he would reverse the charge for me. I gave them the information to go back to the recording of when I did the booking. He took down my credit card info and refunded the charge. That's pretty decent customer service!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. THEY APPEAR FRIENDLY BUT WILL ONLY TRY TO UP SELL YOU ON PRODUCTS YOU MOST LIKELY DO NOT NEED. THEIR TECHNICIANS ARE CORRUPT AND OFFER LITTLE TO NO EXPERIENCE. The short version: The technician misdiagnosed my trouble with my air conditioner likely trying to get me to replace my unit, the service manager refused to return my many calls or emails for months, and I did not receive a refund of my money for over 6 months. It was not until I contacted the head office that the service manager, Gord finally returned my email. Did not even have the courtesy to call. When I asked what the repercussions would be for the technician he assured me that there would be some. I find this hard to believe from a man that did not even attempt to help me in the first place. The full story: My air conditioner stopped working in the summer and I requested Winnipeg Supply send someone to inspect the unit. They sent a technician named Trevor. Trevor's notes stated that my air conditioning unit control board was shorted, compressor was locked up and would not run and due to the age of the unit parts would not be available. He recommended that my unit be replaced. I was charged $111.87 for this job. I wanted a second opinion so I hired another man named Gerardo who works for a company called Comfort Heating. Gerardo came recommended by a friend and has over thirty years experience in the business. Gerardo came to my home approximately fifteen minutes, was able to determine that the machine was in perfect working order and that my thermostat was incorrectly wired. He rewired it and we had it cooling my home within a few minutes. I subsequently called the Winnipeg Supply office at 1555 Dublin ave. I asked to speak with the service manager, Gord and was transferred to his voice mail. I did this a dozen times, also speaking directly with the receptionist, Nora, asking her to try to find him. Every time she returned to the phone Gord was out of the building or was not able to answer. One day I called and spoke with someone covering for Nora who told me that Winnipeg Supply is actually a chain of HVAC companies, and that if I wanted results I should contact the head office directly. They are a part of the Service Experts Company out of the USA. After emailing the company (I never heard back from them), I finally got an email from Gord asking more questions about my experience and my air conditioning unit. Gord made excuses about the age of the machine and that his technician did not have experience diagnosing a machine this old. I emailed back basically saying that Trevor should not have lied if that was the case, stating that my air conditioner was broken and in need of replacement. Gord agreed, and offered a refund on the condition that the head office would be sending a cheque in the mail. The cheque did not arrive for over three months. I called and emailed many times during those three months. I never heard back from Gord and the receptionist kept telling me that they were waiting on the head office to send the cheque to their office so they could forward it to me. I essentially had to threaten to not hang up until I got my refund. The head of finance finally placed the refund on my credit card after providing the information over the phone. Why was this not offered in the first place, I have no idea. Bottom line: Stay away from Winnipeg Supply! They are bad news.

My main water line sprung a leak last night, so I called Winnipeg Supply’s 24/7 emergency line and they told me for $160 they would send out a plumber “tonight”. ...I stayed up all night (11pm-7:30am) waiting, but nobody showed up. Jeff Enright was the service Technician who serviced my furnace. I was impressed by his efficiency and his attention to details . He corrected a connection from the furnace to the air conditioner that hadn't been sealed properly with installation. He also replaced the batteries in the thermostat and secured the thermostat firmly to the wall ( It had been rather shaky because of lack of the correct screws and wall plugs). My wife and I asked lots of questions, and Mike listened carefully. We were unaware that the furnace filter does not necessarily last a year and should be checked periodically. Neither did we know that we should turn off the furnace when changing the filter. Mike showed us the location of the on/off switch. Mike also took the initiative and asked us questions. Based on our answer to one of his concerns, he drilled a small hole into the return to lessen the pressure. To summarize, Mike is an exceptionally good representative of Winnipeg Supply. He is polite, personable, and attentive.

Had an estimator come out, Brent was his name. Absolute douche, seems at first a charismatic salesman seeming all jolly and ready to help, just a fake facade to con you into buying overpriced (below average) quality machines (you can find much better quality and reliability machines online instead of relying on the company), when you refuse, he starts to attempt to scare you into "sudden dangers" and it will be "totally unfix-able" unless you do it through them whom would definitely make sure everything will be up to par. If you still refuse, the guy just rips all the brochures and quotes and hastily and looks at you with absolute disgust knowing he couldn't rip you off. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY!!

Aug 16/18: A part needed to be replaced in my furnace and Cory came to do the install. It was a long day for him. He had to pick up the part only to find out that a needed bracket was not included with the very expensive part. So he got on his phone and found the required bracket and back on the road he went to pick it up. Was back pretty quickly to install the part which was a very delicate and slow process but he did a wonderful job. Thank you Cory. I would definitely recommend him. Aug 9/18: Don Dewar was here to do the yearly checkup for my A/C and furnace. He determined that my furnace required a motor. Our 30+ year old furnace suddenly wasn't heating the house. -20C below outside. Jeremy came over first thing next morning, had a look, explained what was wrong and suggested a replacement. No pressure, just information. My furnace died a few days ago. A service man arrived promptly even though it was supper time. He quickly diagnosed the problem but since it was an expensive fix suggested possible replacement John explained my options and I went for a replacement. Two days later Trevor and Matt were here to install the furnace. The installation was done in less than 3 hours. The installation was considerably neater than the previous installation. They were very careful that my cats did not escape while they were bringing in the new furnace and taking out the old one. They took time to explain the functioning of the new thermostat. I had Winnipeg Supply out to quote me on fixing my furnace venting. Hydro had requested the joints be glued in a couple spots where it was not done - Hydro told me it would be a couple hundred dollars to fix. The technician came and said the venting should all be redone and it would be approx $600 - but for that I should replace my 14 yo furnace at the same time. I told him I was just looking to get the joints fixed as per Hyrdo’s request. He came back after speaking with his manager, Jeremy with a $2250.00 quote. What? I said goodbye and paid the $100 service fee. My receipt was emailed with two quotes $329 which I wasn’t quoted and the $2250 - I was never quoted $329. I proceeded to have the issue fixed by a qualified technician for $60.00. Hydro approved the fix. Know what you need before hiring this company or they will take advantage of you!

I scheduled a quote for central air installation, and didn't find out that they refuse to quote without the homeowner present until the guy showed up and my roommate let him in. Awesome service! My furnace died on me this past Wednesday. Cory called me to try to trouble shoot before coming to try to avoid service charge. Unfortunately nothing worked so he came and discovered I needed to replace it (fire in the furnace). He called the GM to get someone here quickly. I’m sorry I don’t know the GM’s name but she’s amazing. Cory made sure we were taken care of before leaving. Then the salesman Stephen comes by within an hour on his day off! He didn’t try and up sell and was very friendly. He informed us that the awesome GM had set us up for installation the next day! Sure enough the next day Ian and Colin arrive less than 24 hours after we discovered our furnace wasn’t working. They also gave up their day off to help us out since the house was now 30 degrees. I just had my annual system inspection by Hoang Dang and things went so smooth. He showed up on time, wore his shoe covers while in the house, and was completely helpful with any questions I had; he was even able to offer suggestions to extent the life of my system. I was very pleased with the whole experience, as it was a last minute change to have Hoang come at 10:00 instead of the original 2:00: the threat of rain made servicing the a/c unit outdoors less likely. Winnipeg Supply and Huong were able to get the annual inspection done on a day I had to take off from work, yet be done early enough that the rest of the day was not wasted. Our inducer motor died on December 30th, one of the very coldest days in Winnipeg. Our service technician, Andrew C., came out, diagnosed the problem, but could not fix it that day because he needed a motor from the Lennox supplier. Because it was the Saturday of a long weekend, no less, he explained he would do his best to get this motor, and sure enough, the next day he called, said he got the motor and would be over shortly to install. After a night of sleeping in 8C house temperature, this was fantastic! Andrew was always professional and friendly despite being tired from all the other emergencies. Nope. They put my furnace and hot water heater. The pipes to the hot water heater are crooked, the valve leaked, and though i got a couple of good years out of it, it's now toast. They left a gap of at least two inches on the furnace install so not only wasn't I getting all the heat, I was getting dust from the basement all over the house. The 1/2 pipe to drain condensation fell off because the glue failed. Unreal. I'm now wondering if the exhaust pipe will fail as well. You really shouldn't have to hire someone to check the work of the company you hired to do the work. Ridiculous! Never, ever, again.

This is a worst experience that we had re our Furnace. We were told that the service fee is $99 and the cost of parts will be added if needed. When the technician came in, he diagnosed that the "Drain Line" needs to be flushed. He charged extra $113 just for flushing. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I never recommend this company to anyone. The sales consultant Shaun was very informative and never too pushy for the sale. He was the only consultant out of the 3 companies that I got quotes from to walk me through the full Heat Load assessment, rather than just estimating based on square footage alone. The technicians John and Marc did a very clean job and satisfied my very particular requests for routing the vent pipes in my small house. Water tank sprung a leak last night. Placed a service call this morning. The operator was very friendly and said the plumber would call "soon". She indicated that "soon" may be 5 minutes or several hours depending on when the plumber finished his previous call out. She said if I don't hear back after three hours to call back. About 2 hours later, Garrett called and said he was on his way. He assessed my old tank and gave me a few options. We both thought that given the age of my tank, it would probably be best to replace it. Garrett was very professional and didn't seem to be annoyed with me watching over his shoulder and asking a hundred questions. I would definitely recommend Winnipeg Supply!

My air conditioning has broken. I called Winnipeg supply and they agreed to come look at it. They set an appointment time for noon. They didn’t show up at all. No one ever called to say why the service person didn’t show up. When I called they said they would send another person out the next day. I called back the next day to pick a time again and the secretary said they couldn’t fix the air conditioning because of where my furnace is in the house. They had fixed my furnace in the past but now won’t fix it?? Very annoying to wait all afternoon for a person to come fix something that doesn’t show up at all and never calls to explain and you have to call twice to find out why. A service person didn’t call back with an explanation either. Just secretaries passing along messages from “head office” . Bad business.

Trevor & Matt arrived on time, they covered the floors to protect them, they also wore protective shoe covers, they cleaned up their work area, they explained furnace operations, they gave me the option of the type of thermostat I could have installed, which was great because I did not want to have to set a program. For the outside venting they had to cut into the bathroom ceiling, when they finished they set a grille in the opening, it looked great when they were finished, I was really impressed.

Our 23 year old furnace fan blower motor starting making a lot of noise last Sunday night. I contacted Sean G early the next morning to come do an estimate for us at his convenience - he arrived promptly that morning. While taking measurements related to the estimate our furnace kicked in and it became evident that the fan blower motor had seized - so we shut the furnace down and ran heaters until the new furnace could be installed (Shaun loaned us a couple more as our options were not keeping up with the cold). The knowledgeable advice Shaun provided with consideration to our needs and budget enabled us to come to a decision that we trusted. We ordered the new furnace and an HRV (our A/C will be installed in the spring). John M & Marc S also arrived promptly. After a brief tour of the installation area, they determined the optimal solution for intake, exhaust and HRV vents/ducting, minimizing impact to our back yard layout. Overhearing their discussion, I was impressed how they considered this solution as if this been their home. Shaun, John & Marc thank you for a truly professional job! Today, almost a year later, Tim arrived on time for the annual maintenace/cleaning. Tim patiently answered my many questions all while completing the tasks. On 23 January 2017, we called to arrange for an air conditioner. We talked to Dave, who informed us that the furnace we had now was not appropriate, nor could it take A/C. We arranged to have Earl Roberts come out to see us, and he explained all the options we had very clearly. It turned out that renting a new furnace/AC unit was our best option. We arranged to have the installation on the 28 Jan/17. Trevor and Hoang arrived at the appointed time. They knew their jobs, and got to work, finishing the job basically when they had estimated it would take. While doing the work they found that because of code changes last December our hot water tank install was not up to code. We rent our hot water tank so I phoned where we rented it from. The people were not co operative at all. It was going to cost us with tax another $1000 to have them put in a liner in our chimney. Winnipeg supply guys phoned their manager and explained that we were told it could be grandfathered in because it was not moving and the manager told them to install the liner for free. This is the second furnace and AC we have had replaced both by wpg supply many years apart and both times we were more than satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone :)

On Friday furnace was acting up. Service tech quoted repair price but due to age of the furnace suggested getting a replacement quote. Mike came out and quoted a system. Furnace failed that night, Mike came out with some heaters Saturday morning and organised replacement Monday morning.
