Stand Tall should be called Stand Down Painting. We hired them for paint/repairs to the tune of $8G and were left feeling quite disappointed and let down. Things we expected to be replaced were not, jobs were left half finished while they went off to do other work and when some of our concerns were voiced, part-owner Kevin said the touch-ups and whatnot were no big deal. He passed the left over paint and brush to me and said how they like to have happy customers. My jaw just about hit the floor. Perhaps they're ok at painting fences or something but if you're expecting quality and attention to detail, you should keep looking

Hired to paint our suite. Was supposed to do 1 coat of our living space. Somehow living space does not include the main entrance in our home. They did not paid everything. Left paint on walls that they didn't paint. They patched walls and didn't paint them or clean up the putty job. They also left paint on our belongings and didn't say anything. Including cleaning their brushes in our bathroom and spraying paint everywhere including prescription glasses they left to dry and didn't say anything. The work the one guy did was done well, however if you get 2 workers together, they will audibly complain the whole time about their co-workers while you try and work in the other room. They also left stating that they ran out of paint and the office would call to schedule to complete the job. Still waiting for that to happen, this was weeks ago. We were advised by our rental company that Stand Tall isn't returning. So be aware they will make mistakes, and not fix them.

We hired Stand Tall Painting based on a referral to paint the interior of our main floor and the quality of their work is amazing! They provided us with a quote and stuck to exactly what was agreed upon. They were very easy to deal with. They made it very clear at the start of the job that if we saw anything they missed or noticed to let them know and they would correct it on the spot. Stand Tall Painting was very careful throughout the job, cleaned up as the job progressed and even insisted on helping move our furniture back when the job was completed. They really put in an extra effort to show us that they appreciated us as their clients. I would highly recommend them to anyone as they did a fantastic job on our house!! I would have to say that Stand Tall Painting is one of the best painting companies in Winnipeg, MB. I will use them again and have already given their business card out to a few family members.

They started work and kept us informed everystep of the way. Any concerns or change of work we requested was addressed right away. They came out to give us a quote for a closet renovation. Received the quote via email, was happy with it. Signed, scanned, and sent back with preferred dates for the work to be done. Never heard back. That was well over a month ago. I have no interest doing business with people like this. Respect your customer enough to respond.

They did a great job with recommendations and foreseeing possible issues with the initial layout. We had a tight deadline to avoid extended downtime and they came in, worked extended days to get this done on schedule. The crew was a pleasure to deal with, as well as their sub trades. We hired Stand Tall to do a basement renovation. Unfortunately they lacked much experience to do this job and there were many mistakes that we caught almost daily. There is quite a long list of mistakes but the main two are that they flooded our basement mid way through construction which caused delays and damage to 1/3 of our brand new floors and walls. We had to ask several times to pull up flooring to check for water, there were pools of water everywhere. Our brand new floors will never be level due to this. Another major item is that did not install our egress window properly - they cracked our weeping tile and used batt insulation to block the holes. We found this out because we had a hunch that they did not do it correctly after they had infilled the hole..so we re-dug the hole ourselves to see what they did. It was a complete disaster and we ended up fixing it ourselves. When we told them how disappointed we were, we were told "it's a good thing you fixed it yourself, isn't it?". Based on these issues (and many others) I do not believe this company is experienced with big jobs and I would double-check all of their workmanship carefully.

Amazing work, friendly service, and well organized. I had Stand Tall come in and renovate our main floor including bathroom and kitchen. They kept me informed every step of the way allowing us to brain storm and deal with unforeseen issues in a timely matter. Having one company to take care of my hardwoods and tiles, painting, cabinet install, electrical and plumbing was way more manageable then I expected.
