I have no doubt that there are some very skilled and caring tradesmen that work with this company. Unfortunately, this was not our experience. We hired a tradesman through Handyman Connection to tile our bathtub surround and skim coat the adjacent walls. This relatively small project took 15 in-home appointments (during a pandemic), 7 missed/rescheduled appointments, start times up to 5 hours later than scheduled and 2 components of the job that had to be redone – one of which I was required to do myself despite paying for the service. It seemed that at every appointment, a new issue arose. I discussed our concerns directly with the tradesman in hopes of getting things back on track. The same problems persisted and eventually worsened. Each time I brought up a concern, he refused accountability and attempted to blame it on us. I finally reached out to Handyman Connection when a major component of the job had to be redone and tried to share my concerns. At no point did anyone take any responsibility or apologize for the consistent issues. I was told it was an honest mistake. I understand that mistakes can happen, but when issues persist even after they have been addressed directly, they are no longer honest mistakes. When we welcome an unknown tradesman into our home and pay them thousands of dollars for their service, we want to be certain that they have our best interest in mind and that they are capable, cooperative and reliable. In this regard, this service completely let us down and I would not recommend it to others.

I had Handyman come out to do some work in my basement. After a rough start with the 1st contractor Handyman made it right and sent out Warren to complete the job. They did not disappoint and pulled thru with 100% customer satisfaction! Warren did an amazing job with precision, and efficiency. The owner assisted me with getting some doors returned that were wrongly ordered and Dianne was excellent with answering and handling my phone calls and any concerns I had. Warren installed 2 sets of barn doors, bifold doors, interior man doors and casings, baseboards throughout and wainscotting in my bathroom. His workmanship was spot on. Everything looks perfect. I am beyond pleased and would not hesitate to hire them again and to refer them to anyone that I know. This company is solid and they truely do stand behind there 100% customer satisfaction guarantee! Thank you so much to the team at Handyman!!

First time using Handyman Connection Winnipeg and was extremely impressed from start to finish. It’s a very professional process. Deanne at the office set up an appointment for a plumber to check the issue with my kitchen faucet for the next morning and an email arrived quickly to confirm. Shaqir called before the scheduled time, diagnosed the issue and provided a free estimate as well as recommendations for a replacement faucet. Shaqir was available the following morning to install the faucet. Very careful while doing the work, it was done quickly and perfectly. Very happy with the entire process, would highly recommend!

It has to be one or the other because never in all my years have I ever worked with a so called professional that truly showed his laziness on not wanting to do the job. 1st, lost my paperwork and no one call me back after the estimating. 2nd I called them back 1 month after the estimating and asked for a discount because of the delay, they won't give any. Just admit your fault and make your customer happy, and if you won't, I will make this page looks not happy the same way. Bad service. Not recommended.

Our handy person was Myron and he did an excellent job helping us figure out what we wanted, developed a comprehensive plan that worked well, was respectful and pleasant and a contentious worker. I"ve had few projects done by Handyman Connection over the years but their workmanship has detoriated over the years. Especially when they did a job of a removing a suspended ceiling I had in my home but did not properly finished the job(drywall, painting) complained to the owner got another handyman who did work for me in the past and who was pretty reliable tried to finish what the other handyman did was more upset to fix someone else's mistake only painted one coat and over time shows the inqualites of the job. A few years have passed I've decided to give handyman connection another chance to do some outdoor work(building fence) the guy did a good job but to him Handyman Connection was just a side job and he was trying to hustle me for work with his own company saying it would be cheaper had I gone with him for the work which I find to be an underhanded, shady business tactic to pull. It's hard to find good quality handyman for small/medium work. The last time I had any contact with handyman connection was a few weeks back when I phoned their office to have them come out for a quote for a job was told by the reception that they are behind in work and she would let me know when someone was available to come out. Still haven't heard yay or nay. Apparently customer service is non existent. I recommend going elsewhere.

My experience with this company was horrible. The initial contrator that they sent to build my fence was verbally abusive towards me so I had to fire him. They sent out a second contractor who completed the fence but less than a week later the gate would not open. I messaged them about it and It still took 3 months before they actually came back to do anything about it. Then they tried to overcharge me for things that I did not agree to. I would not recommend using this company.
