Very happy with Alair’s work on our redesigned main floor and kitchen. They kept the site clean, met their deadlines, solved issues and we ended up with exactly what was in the design. We got weekly reports so we knew exactly what was being done and they kept us informed on budget. The project manager was quick to answer questions and let us know if there were any decisions we needed to make to keep everything moving. We moved back in on time and the project was completed on budget - all during the pandemic. I would work with Alair again with no hesitation.

Warren arrived promptly for our appointment and spent a lengthy time completing his inspection on every inch of our home! He thoroughly documented each issue, taking photos and writing down suggestions and concerns. Warren is very passionate about his job and had lots of helpful advice to share. He took lots of time to explain any issues related to the property and was very patient and professional in answering all of our questions. Warren completed an extensive report outlining every detail following our walk-thru and invited us to call him whenever if any clarification was needed. Through this whole process, he continually worked towards meeting our goals and worked around our busy personal schedule, even making himself available on weekends! As a result of his inspection on our new home, we were able to submit a number of important warranty claims that are now being rectified by our Builder. We couldn’t think of a better company for the job! We will definitely recommend Alair Homes to anyone who is looking for advice on their home. We can not say enough about the work and time that Alair Homes (Moffatcrew) gave us in providing the construction for our boys dorm out at our Bible Camp. Without their generosity we could not have built this project. The boys are thrilled to have a new, much needed dorm.

We hired Alair to build a two-story addition onto our 1909 heritage home. The project was complex, requiring a complicated tie in to the existing structure. We are happy to say the end result is a spectacular new space that blends perfectly with the rest of our home inside and out. Collin, Mitch and their team helped us with an extensive renovation of a 1960’s home in River Heights. We did everything from windows, doors, modified roof lines, new siding, stone work, interior structural work and finishing’s. Their team are real craftsman with decades of experience. and were careful to pay attention to all the little details in their work which makes all the difference in the finished product. They were always very timely for appointments, cleaned up each day after they were done work, were always very courteous and came in under budget. We went BIG with our renovations and had lots of decisions to make but the biggest decision was finding the right team for the job and we can only give our highest recommendation to Collin and his team from Alair homes!

Collin, Mitch and the entire team at Alair Homes Winnipeg have outdone themselves again! 18 months ago, the City of Winnipeg permits department came knocking on our business door and life changed. I went from happily running my almost 30 year old local retail store to unhappily juggling paperwork, emails and city demands which required me to work with an architect and structural engineer to come up with a plan. For the first 3 months, I was tackling this all on my own and almost lost my mind in the process. That's when I knew it was time to call Mitch and HE WAS AWESOME. I hired him to be a part of the process long before there was any physical work that could be done. He helped oversee the stream of emails and needs of all parties... The city, the architect, the structural engineer and myself to keep this process running smoothly. It took almost a year of rejections and new demands and heightened emotions from all sides. Through it all, Mitch was patient, clear and supportive. AND FINALLY OUR PLANS WERE APPROVED! Next it was time to make the structural changes needed to our very old store space in order to meet the city's code requirements. The Alair Homes Team showed up and got everything done with very little disturbance to our regular business flow. They worked with us and around us and got the job done. The inspectors came and approved everything and I am so happy to say that this is now complete and in the past. I cannot tell you how many times I was ready to quit and walk away from this unbelievably challenging situation, and yet everyone at Alair made it possible to see this project through to the end... and with some laughs along the way when I needed them most! Great company. Great Owners. Great team. What more could you ask for?

We needed to increase our living space to accommodate elderly parents who were moving in with us. We chose to give them our master bedroom and ensuite on the main level and build a second floor addition over the garage. This new addition would become our oasis. It includes a spacious bedroom with an alcove office space, a walk in closet and ensuite. We also combined the two smaller bedrooms on the main floor and made a nice size private sitting room along with space for a much needed mudroom. Including the mudroom in our build allowed us to move the washer and dryer from downstairs to the main floor. We are extremely pleased with the end result. It was a pleasure working with Warren and his team as the project was completed in a timely manner and the workmanship is excellent.

We were extremely happy with Collin and his crew. From the first meeting Collin was transparent with the process and completely honest. The team was always prompt and extremely tidy and always cleaned up after themselves which was greatly appreciated. We asked Collin and his team to have the renovation completed by a certain day which they followed through with our demand. Collin and his team did such amazing workmanship and kept us (the homeowners) informed throughout the renovation. Collin always took the time to listen to all our phone calls and emails and was very prompt and getting back to us.

If you want your dream home then this is the company and team to work with! We wanted to build our own home from scratch and not go with some pre-made house plan like a lot of builders limit you to. Alair allowed us to design the entire layout and make each room truly our own. We had been hesitant to build our own home as we had heard how stressful it could be but Curtis and Sharayah Moffat made everything as easy as possible and guided us along the way. All of the selections and design was done at the beginning of the project and we knew the cost of everything prior to breaking ground. We worked with Curtis and Sharayah Moffat of Alair Homes to do an extensive reno of our 20 year old home which included gutting the kitchen and putting in all new cabinets, an island and a much larger window/door unit to the backyard. 3 bathrooms were gutted with all new vanities, fixtures, toilets and tubs. We also added a full wall cabinet and counter unit in the rear entrance/laundry room. In the family room we put in a custom desk & entertainment cabinet and re-did the fireplace. The whole process was very transparent with no surprises and we're very pleased with the finished product. They emphasized the design and selection process up front. They introduced us to designer Lisa Clark who came up with a great concept. Well worth the investment to hire a designer. A small expense in the big picture but it greatly enhanced the final product. The entire design and selections were done up front so we knew exactly what our costs and the schedule would be before signing the build contract. There were only very minor surprises during the build and the schedule was exactly as promised (10 wks). The trades they recommended were top notch with high quality results. Curtis and Sharayah were even pickier than we were so the end result was excellent. No worries about corners being cut. We highly recommend them for any renos or new builds.

I am pleased with the work done at my home by Warren and Alair Homes. The roof needed to be reshingled and an unused, leaky chimney removed. I received an estimate within a few days, an unforeseen problem (the leaky chimney) was dealt with very quickly and efficiently, my calls were returned promptly so I knew what was happening, the work was done on time when scheduled and on budget, and the work crews were pleasant and respectful of my property. Although this job was small, Warren attended to all the details making it stress free for me.
