After getting a leak into our home, we realized we needed a new roof fast. I called Armour Shield (as it had the highest rating on Google) and spoke with Assaad. He said he'd send someone out the same day. Andy came to my house within a few hours, and spent almost 45 minutes going through a quote on the spot with me - as my case was urgent. Andy went through every step explaining everything and answering all of my questions. They fit us in within a week, and got the work done in two days (in the snow) to make sure me and my family had a leak free new roof as soon as possible. Andy kept me updated through the entire process and was a pleasure to work with. They couldn't clean up around the house until the snow melted, but Assaad and his son came and shoveled the driveway and removed the nails, so I could at least park my car while the snow melted. As soon as it did, Andy was here cleaning up. Great company, reliable and trustworthy. Definitely recommend.

I contacted armour Sheild roofing when i noticed a leak in my roof. They completed a house in my neighborhood and I was impressed with the attention to detail and how clean the site was. I found out it was late in the season and it would be hard to find a company who would do the work before snow start flying. I touched base with Andy and I told him I didn’t want anyone else and I’d wait for an opening. He followed up weekly to keep me in the loop and when it was time he let me know the guys will be there next week! Perfect, the crew took care to protect my deck, hot tub, air conditioner. They spent the time to tie underlayment a day flashing to protect against water and snow, Even in not so favourable weather they completed the installation in two days, the owner and son came out personally and called me to keep me updated on progress. They noticed I have a young family and even made additional trip to run the magnets around my yard to ensure every nail was picked up. Update 2: Good news! I don't need to do my roof for 10 years. Assad the general manager came by and explained everything to me, and he's actually really great. I apologize for the reflexive negative review - it was purely a misunderstanding with a new hire. Update: The General manager called me to clarify that the employee I spoke to was new, and didn't understand that they PREFER to do the whole roof on semis, but that it's not an absolute requirement to do it that way and that doing half the roof is possible. I appreciate him following up and he says he'll come take a look at my roof within the next couple days. Original review: They called me just to tell me that they won't even look at my roof because I live in a semi and my neighbour already had her half of the roof done, and that they only do full roofs. Waste of time calling them if you live in an attached house - call someone else apparently.

I was impressed with the professionalism of Armour Shield. After a receiving my quote, a bad windstorm deteriorated my roof to the point of failure and they were able to get my new roof installed weeks before it was projected to avoid any further damage. They were competitive with their quotes, advised me upfront of any extra charges, and kept me up to speed on the progress. My profession also has a very odd schedule and they were able to work around that as well. I would recommend Armour Shield to anyone.

An overall great experience. Our original roof was leaking and Assaad provided us with clear options for shingles, membranes and installation costs. On removing the shingles their team found the damage to the roof truss and surrounding plywood was more than expected and promptly fixed the damage. Armour Shield did an amazing job on our house, where very efficient, and easy to deal with. Their clean up was amazing and I have yet to find any debris or nails anywhere in the yard after they left. They went the extra mile last fall and checked the existing roof prior to winter setting in to ensure we wouldn't have any leaks throughout the winter and in doing so, found a very bad area that they sealed up without charging any extra. Andy at Armour Shield definitely knows his roofing! He patiently and thoroughly explained everything about the options for my roof replacement. They were very responsive for a shoulder season install and went from quote to done in what seemed like no time. Price was very reasonable considering the quality of workmanship. If you want someone to slap on a roof as quickly as possible for the lowest price, Armour Shield probably isn't for you. The company is certified to install every brand of shingles they carry by the manufacturers, which gives us the peace of mind we wanted from a roofer. Although it took a bit long for us to get a quote, the President came to our house and explained in detail what they would do, how they were going to do it, and the cleanup process. All extra charges were also given upfront, and no high pressure sales technique used. He also offered to drive us around the neighbourhood to see the roofs they did. During the installation, I was given calls every day on the progress. The crew was polite and punctual, and they finished on time as expected. The cleanup was meticulous, as if they were not there. After the installation, the President came again for a final inspection to ensure we are satisfied with the work. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
