We are a military family in Pet and had to do our research when it came to who would do our roof as we didn't have anyone to make recommendations of local companies.. They were quick with a quote, reasonably priced and had great costumer service communication through phone and email. We had an unexpected leak from the first spring rain and we called Jim to set up an urgent apt to prevent any further damage. He was able to get us in the next day no problem! They showed up, shoveled the snow off our roof and got to work. Between 4 guys they were quick and efficient. Clean up was one thing I was worried about but they did a great job all considering we still had a few feet of snow on the ground. (Definitely do a sweep of your driveway and yard regardless.) They also accepted e-transfer which was handy. Thank you for taking pride in your work and we will keep your info on hand for any further projects! Cheers

I called to ask if someone could do a small facia. Job.. He called and said he would be there the next day. No show no phone call. I called in a weeks time and he said the same thing that was weeks ago and still no word. I guess being a senior and it is not a big paying job don't matter.

Long story short, from the road I can tell a measuring tape wasn't used, waited for 2 months on material I coulda made on a break in half an hour, wrong material used, like 2 handfuls of screws left in our daycare yard in grass nothing said to us, Foreman actually felt need to tell us all his problems with the company and was just a hot mess also rude with my wife, material spliced together to make full lengths. Also I was told they'd come back in spring to fix, not a word from them, sad I wouldn't want them back anyway. Star ratings on Google aren't always accurate I found out hard way.

Left a voicemail, no response. Had my husband call and he said he'd be here the next day for a vinyl siding quote and would let us know. No response. I left another voicemail and never heard back. It's unfortunate because I was really hoping to use them for the siding job. Knowledge, experience, expertise. I am an extremely understanding & easygoing person and I know with all the mayhem going on w/ the pandemic, busy season and getting materials this sector has been hit from every angle. My frustration lies in someone not being up front w/ me, if you're too busy or not interested in this particular job just tell me flat out. Don't waste my time and I won't waste yours- this is how business and reciprocal relationships work.

They were friendly and courteous at all times. Most important, the quality of the work is on point. My wife loves the new roof. I recommend Jim's T&R Construction for this type of work. Jim can be a bit slow communicating during the busy season, but he won't leave you hanging.

Back in July we had discovered some water damage behind the drywall and insulation in our home. Our insurance company gave us the name of another contractor to get in touch with for the repair work and unfortunately after multiple attempts to get things going we decided to go with Jim’s T&R based on the recommendation of a friend. We contracted him and within a few days he was out here himself to address the problems. Drywall and cabinetry had to be removed, insulation, vapour barrier, siding all had to come out and the plywood in between the exterior wall and drywall had to be replaced. Also the roof had to be done. Not only did they do an excellent job, they did it in a timely manner and also did everything in their power not to disrupt life at home. They were friendly and personable and cleaned up everything after the job was done. They even put my Christmas lights back up! If you need any type of work done I highly recommend these guys and I will definitely hire them again if I need someone, along with suggesting my insurance company recommended them.

All-round excellent job. We had our roof replaced, and eavestrough replaced/repaired. Jim gave us a quote, reasonable price, responded quickly to our emails, even recommended a colour of shingle which looks great. The crew arrived on-time, did an excellent job, did a complete clean-up - very professional. I would highly recommend this company.

Fast amd friendly reply with a detailed quote. One of the two companies out of 5 I called for quotes that actually showed. He quotes for multiple services and in a bundle gave the best value with lifetime warranty. Went with the full package. They showed up on time, friendly hard working crew in the hottest weather. They clearly were experienced and enjoyed their job which is nice to see. Made sure they were hydrated and took breaks in the heat. Great looking roof and fair price. Props to the crew who were great. Good communication with owner and ease of payment via e transfer. Recommend!!

This company was recommended by a person at my husband's work. They are WSIB registered. Jim called & asked if he could drop off a proposal. The cost was very reasonable . We chose 2 tone black shingles, all required materials were delivered & the workers were here to receive, sign & place all items. A trailer was parked in our driveway & all the old shingles were shoveled into it. The mess was contained. Cleanup was constantly done, my back deck was neater than when they started. They used a magnet to collect all loose nails. We have to replace the siding on our house in the next few years, we will definitely contact this company.
