Overall a great experience. Excellent customer service from Ryan and the crew of Installers. After shopping around I felt that VSS had a great product and a reasonable price; while they weren't the cheapest - when getting quotes we felt the price and quality of product available to us was top notch. Ryan allowed us to make changes and answered any and all questions we had regarding the install process, the rubber product options and adhesive. He also was professional when I had questions regarding the competitors and how they all differ. When it came to install-day the crew was friendly and thorough in their prep work. It's clear that the Installers care a great deal about their work. Our patio and walkway was meticulously done and we could not be happier with the quality of work that was completed on our property. I would definitely recommend VSS to anyone looking to resurface their commercial or residential property. Kudos to a job well done.

Having researched various companies recently and having a few companies come and look at the property and provide a quote, the decision was made to go with Vancouver Safety Surfacing and we are so happy. From my first phone call to Ryan, who arrived promptly and looked at the work to be done on a corner lot, which included a large driveway, front and back sidewalks as well as front and back steps, and a patio, he was nothing but patient and kind in answering so many questions. He also provided other jobs to look at and he also took the time to meet me at the warehouse to decide on the sidewalk colours to match the house. His employees are excellent. Elias arrived to prepare the site in terms of pressure washing and Ryan was here as well to help with the edging. Connor and Aaron arrived two days later and I have nothing but praise after watching them work long hours in the heat. Connor is a master at his craft and he has to be one of the best in the industry, if not the best. It was evident that Connor and Aaron take great pride in their work. They worked for three days straight as it was not a simple job, in extreme heat. They were friendly, polite and left the property spotless. One of the biggest companies in the Lower Mainland told me the job could be done in a day with a crew of four OR maybe six. That was not what we were looking for. We wanted consistency in terms of workmanship and expertise with a property that was not simply straight sidewalks. Ryan's quote was very competitive and I am busy handing out brochures in the neighbourhood........saying "just call Ryan, after researching other companies you will be very happy!" Then I proceed to share what I have learned between Vancouver Safety Surfacing and others in this business. Thank you Ryan, Elias, Connor and Aaron for a fantastic experience.

We had VSS out this week to resurface the concrete deck around our pool in the back yard as well as the steps and front entrance area at the front of the house. Ryan and his team communicated proactively, they arrived on time as agreed and the work was done quickly and professionally. The surfaces look so much better and even look a bit bigger and it's great to have a slip resistant, barefoot friendly surface. We would definitely recommend and use them again in future.

After our drain tile was done, our lawn and driveway looks really bad. We decided to redo the driveway. I called the company and Ryan's response was real quick. Being in the realtor business for over 20 years, I always tried to work with company owners and it will make me feel much more comfortable. Although we had rescheduled the project several times, we finally got it done within the expected time. After the driveway was pressure washed by Dakato, the crew came on the scheduled day early in the morning and finished our driveway before 1 p.m. (Our driveway and walkway to the front door was about 1,100 sq.ft.) Everyone in the family likes the new look and the price was reasonable. I will definitely refer them to any of my partners or clients. It is getting harder and harder to find a reliable company who will listen to your concern and immediately quote you at a price which you do not have to shop around. Well done Ryan.

In late June we had Ryan and his team resurface our deck space. Initially contacted them in April but due to our rainy weather and then our extreme heat wave we finally got the deck resurface! From the get go Ryan was super responsive and accommodating to our needs. He bent over backwards to ensure the job was done to meet our deadline. When they got on the job we experienced nothing but professional work ethics, courteous service. Their Covid protocols were on point! We have a very large deck and they finished it a day ahead of schedule! Our deck surface was a pebbled aggregate and badly cracked and sunken. We repaired and prepped the deck ourselves and Ryan assured us that once the surface was laid we would hardly notice any slight variation in the grade. He was correct! We are so happy with our new deck - we have had lots of activity on it since it was resurfaced and enjoying to soft surface - the grandchildren can run around safely without the worry of slipping on a wet surface! Can't say enough about the quality of work and the professional, personalized service we received from Ryan and his team. Would highly recommend him and his service.
