Excellent service from start to finish! Very professional. We called and they just happened to have an opening for us the next week. Eric, the sales associate, came out with brochures with all of the different products and roof colours to match our home colour and fit in with the other homes on the street. We chose based on cost and material. They came in with a crew of six, yes six, and had 3/4 of the current roof removed within the 1st day. The next day, they started working on the built-in gutters and drains and re-roofing the areas removed. 1 1/2 days later we were done. We had a request to move some of the vents to route through the roof instead of the soffits, which is where they were before re-roofing. The main supervisor came out a couple of days before the installation to see what we were looking to do and he said it would be no problem. We are very happy with the service and would highly recommend this company. Great job Northwood!

I phoned Northwood about a leak I discovered in our 15 year old roof and they sent someone out right away no questions asked. Jesse inspected our entire roof and although I could have just had him repair the leaky area, I was so impressed with his professionalism and knowledge that I eventually decided to have Northwood replace the entire roof, skylights, and gutters. They sent a crew as soon as we got a few days of dry weather. They did a top quality job installing the asphalt shingle roof and proper flashing of those vulnerable rain trap areas. Jesse came back for a final inspection and to confirm I was satisfied with the work. Overall I highly recommend Northwood if you want your roof done right and with no surprise increases to the estimate.

We have lived in this house since 1973 and have had more than one crooked and incompetent roofer to deal with, as well as two sets of dishonest "renovators." So it was good to deal with people who were trustworthy, who were courteous and considerate, who worked hard, finishing in a little over two days, cleaning up after themselves after each day's work and all for a very fair price, as we knew from comparisons. The had the right machinery, so we did not have the stress of seeing men climbing up steep ladders with bales of tiles on their shoulders: it was altogether a professional job. Northwood Roofing deserves its high rating with the Better Business Bureau. And it is good to know that they are concerned about the environment, finding ways to minimize their "footprint." The project was very challenging, a very high roof with steep angles of the roof deck on an old 1910 Edwardian house. The finished job is fantastic, very clean lines to the crown and slope changes. Forget calling THAT OTHER gutter cleaning company, call a roofing company like Northwood Roofing. A roofing company always takes better care of your roof. In 2020, I was approached by a couple of gutter cleaners and their quotes made me question the value I was receiving. So I decided to do some research and I called a dozen other gutter cleaning companies. They all seemed to quote a lot for cleaning; the value just was not there, and the other guys' advice wasn't good either. That was then I decided to call and search for a roofing company to clean my gutters (they are the pros after all). It was then I stumbled into Northwood Roofing. I called, and they did a quote via Google Maps (I thought this was innovative). The initial quote was quite affordable in comparison to any of the others, it really was a no-brainer as to whom to pick. Then Northwood guaranteed a yearly cleaning price, lower than my initial cleaning, and this year they honoured it, and I paid almost $100 less too... I paid a bit more the first time as all the prep work was done with their first visit. They take pictures of their work for me (I asked for this), and if they see something that needs a quick repair they just do it. Plus, they also inspect the roof at the same time. The other guys don't know what to look for when it comes to roof damage or repairs, at lease that my experience. I feel better having a roofing company like Northwood Roofing, and their gutter cleaning team taking care of gutter maintenance. Thanks for sincerely caring... We had another roofing company install a new roof in August 2021 and when we had our first rain storm in September the roof leaked causing a lot of water damage to our ceilings. I was nervous about doing my roof as I heard about a bunch of nightmare stories . I got 7 estimates speaking to the salespeople to try and gauge what each had to say . I got it down to 3 companies that seamed to me were honest and made sense and were consistent in there language . My roof was old and had 3 layers ( actually 4 ) . I got a couple of estimates that were quite a bit lower and were just going to go over top of everything with a new roof but they seamed fly by night and not honest . 1 estimate was way more so my choice was down to 2.Eric from Northwood was personable and consistent and helped me make the right decision on which roof to go with .Warranty is very important to me as Im planning to stay in my home and I liked the manufacturers warranty offered by Northwood. Northwood came and assessed my roof and were very accurate with there estimate and stood by it .The only surprise was that I actually had 4 old layers instead of 3 . there was an extra charge for the extra layer but they didn't try and gouge me or anything. When it came to the instal day I was pleasantly surprised with the crew that came to do the work , they worked hard got a lot done and cleaned up very well each day . I feel I definitely made the right choice whit Northwood .

I would like to give more than 5 stars but unable to. We did our due diligence before getting our roof done. We are in a neighborhood where everyone has had the need to re-roof because of the age of our home. There were many companies that were recommended to us and we got 6 quotes. Northwoods estimator was the most knowledgable and spent the most time with us. He walked the neighborhood with us pointing out the good and bad roof and explained why. We learnt a lot. We chose to go with Northwood and received updates when the disposal bin would arrive, when the crane would arrive and when the crew would arrive and were told that no questions were off limit. The communication was fantastic and so was our crew. They were friendly, personable and on time each day. Our yard and neighbors yard were cleaned of debris each day. When the roof was complete there was no trace that they had been here. I can easily say we have the nicest looking roof in the neighborhood. If you need to have your roof done choose Northwood or at the very least get an estimate from them, you will be glad you did.

I have a medium sized roof that needed to be replaced so I started to go through the process of getting some quotes. I had 3 different companies show up and I was shocked that 2 of them never followed up with a quote and 1 that came in ridiculously high. I have a relative that works for a roofing supply company (I had no idea) and she recommended Northwood. I called and reached Eric who just happened to be in the area, he came over and talked me through the project with samples and gave me his recommendation and followed up promptly with a quote that was in line with my expectations. We booked the job in 2 weeks out at my request and had Jesse assigned to be the project manager. Like many homeowners , I have no previous experience buying a new roof and a new rain gutter system for our house. I realized that this would be my first and maybe my last time to be placing this type order for my house. So it was important to make the right choice of material and contractor to do this Job. I wanted a roof and gutter system that could last another 30 years. I also wanted a beautiful roof. 3 companies submitted their quotations. I bombarded them with questions. Northwood was the only one who had the patience to answer all my questions promptly. Northwood then revised the presentation of its quotation to make it easier for me to understand the technical details of its scope of work . They also made sure that this revised quotation contained all their positive responses to my queries. Eric did a good job explaining everything to me. The best advice Eric gave me after he helped me select the right roofing materials for our house was to let my wife do the color selection for our new roof. That was what we did. Estimate was prepared quickly and work was performed in a professional manner. Despite being well protected with plywood and tarps, a window pane was broken on a closely neighbouring house while stripping the roof. Eric responded immediately, took full responsibility, and had the window pane repaired within hours.

Horrible people with no morals. My mother hired them to repair a small leak in her roof and they insisted that she pay in cash and she did. After she paid they came back a week later and demanded more money accusing her of not even paying the first time. Not sure on the negative comments but I didn't know who to call and these guys where great. Had a leak during a heavy rainfall and they came within a couple days to see the problem. Showed me the issue and came back in a few hours with the materials to fix the problem. Didn't have to deal with paying after the work was fixed as office staff sent a bill by email and paid on Visa. No hassles and I didn't even have to be home for them to fix the problem after they showed me as I had another appointment that day. Will be sure to use them again next time an issue comes up.

We have known that our homes large cedar shake roof was at the end of it's lifecycle. and we were not overly enthused about needing to go through an entire re-roof experience. I had made a decision to use another company but they wanted to charge a huge amount of money for new gutters so I called Northwood for gutters and the receptionist let me know that they do roofing too and she shared that they use certainteed products so we made an appointment and they offered the best price for install and gutters. Their client support and sales team were exceptional and they created a sense of confidence right from the start. After receiving alot of quotes Northwood was the most reasonable. Moreover, Ray did not try to sell their most expensive roof, he tried to keep our costs within our budget and this helped. He was open to give us a very good price on a small portion of the roof we wanted in metal and didn't overcharge at all.
