Story time! They came and installed my garburator. After the garburator installation, the dish washing machine clogged. And surprise surprise! Our hot water tank decided to call it quits on Friday morning – called Blue Moon at 9am and pleasantly surprised when technician Dan was on site by 1pm. Appreciated the COVID-safety measures that were being followed. Great service from the initial call through to completion of a new gas hot water tank install. We have used the services of Blue Moon over the past several years on various projects around our home, including switching out all our plumbing fixtures, a furnace repair in the dead of winter, installing a gas barbeque line, and installing a new gas furnace this past summer. As homeowners, we could not ask for a better team to work with, from the gals in the office (Sarah, Christine, and Jeanne), to project manager Paul, and technicians Justin, Mike and Dan.

I won't be using this company again. Poor customer service, poor workmanship, poor attitude. Paid premium price for new tank and let him sell me optional expansion tank. I had to call him back because he positioned it so it blocked the manual water shutoff valve and he failed to tighten a pipe fitting that was leaking gas into the air so bad that you could smell it! He wasn't even apologetic and suggested that I tighten it! What is it with these young guys? If they just did it right the first time, they wouldn't have to make a second trip to fix their mistakes. Go somewhere else, or at the very least check for leaks afterwards.

Danny went over and beyond what I would have expected from a plumber. Knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and a nice guy. He had to crawl deep into a tiny spider infested crawlspace to figure things out, and figured out a way to access and repair the problem in a way I'd never have thought of. Blue Moon is definitely who I'll be calling from now on.

MY wife called and asked for energy star they said they didn't have any. She asked several times and then said she would call back. I called and said I saw on their website they carry energy star and what do you know they all the sudden had some. They inflate the price of the tank by the same amount as the rebate so they essentially are taking your rebate. We were quoted maximum 2 hours and it took four. Their website said they are clean and wear uniforms as well as arrive with a fully equipped van. The guy walked through our house with muddy work boots on did not have a uniform and had to leave twice to go get parts. He messed up the drip drain and said he was leaving me a piece of flex tube so I could fix it and then charged me $50 for the tube. My wife had to email several times to even get the correct invoice. Would not recommend Would not use again

Had a complicated shower leak. Called Blue Moon (first time using them). Receptionist answered quickly and set me up with a service techinician within 2 days. Any inquiry was answered politely. Dan is a great plumber, very knowledgeable, easy to deal with. Very thourough with the diagnose and found and fixed the problem. The only complain I have is that the plumber showed up 30min late, also didn't have silicon and box cutter during the repair, had to drive off to buy the required items. Time took to buy item and 30min late was included in my bill (1hr extra). This has been a great first experience using Blue Moon. Highly recommended and will use their service again with any future problems.

This company has amazing customer service, and very knowledgeable plumbers. My elderly mother had a burst pipe in her apartment. She had a friend of the building manager come to repair the damage, and was not happy with his work or service. I was upset that he took advantage of an elderly person. I called Blue Moon, as I had them work on my house, and told them to treat my mom as if it were their own grandmother, and thats exactly what they did. They came right away, and professionally fixed the first plumbers mess and my mom was so happy. These guys are PRO's!!

He even went far and above what he was there for and looked at another problem I had regarding plumbing and gave sound advice on how I could fix it at minimal cost to me. I’m a strata council president at a 68 unit building in Langley. Our counsel is very proactive in making sure our building is maintained and the trades that we choose or just as important to us! As our building is only 9 yrs young we made sure to choose wisely to keep in line with our needs. Bluemoon is the company we chose after receiving three quotes and knowing their scopes of services. As far as I’m concerned Bluemoon has three major Rockstars starting with Christine who handles all the commercial accounts, when I call Christine is very quick to pick up or to call me back if she’s on the other line or in a meeting. Christine is also very mindful and making sure that we are able to give enough notice to our residence when we have any type of service that will require them to be home. Danny is our regular service technician who has taken good care of everything from our boiler room two are horizontal and vertical pipes in the building. Danny is very efficient and really knows his stuff when it comes to repairs. Most recently we were very impressed when we couldn’t find a shut off for an outside tap. It had a small leak and we wanted to shut it off for the winter,; Danny did some troubleshooting and figured out that the shut off was the same one as one down in our garage. He was then able to create I shut off that was more accessible and separate from the one that tied into our garage. It didn’t take him long at all to come up with a very good idea that we’re happy we listen to. Chris & a young fella ( forgot his name) recently came out to service our sewage pipes that we had cleaned as a preventative measure after having a sewage back up that affected two of our units. They were able to clean the pipes by going to the top floor lifting off the toilets and hydro flush our pipes, replaced any bolts that were rusting, and made sure to put new wax seals on all toilets that were removed. They also do an awesome job on the smaller stuff !! For anyone not too sure which plumbing company to choose these guys are truly top-notch!! Thank you Christine, Danny & Chris!! Deborah

We are building a new house and contracted Blue Moon for the radiant heating and plumbing. They have not delivered the house is nearly complete and we still have no heating and the have messed up several of the plumbing items, In correct shower installation, hot water takes way too long, no thermostats no recirculation pumps, no water conditioning, too low of pressure in the shower and the lid goes on. We are hiring another firm to come and clean iup the mess they made. The company was sold and the previous owner was clearly checked out and the new owner is non-responsive for months. The only shining light are a couple of the staff plumbers other than that AVOID THESE GUYS!!

Mike came to our house to inspect our on-demand heating system. He was quick to note that the whole system was installed incorrectly and suggested a full rebuild and replacement at a cost of $16K. I asked for a quote for the system to be brought up to standard and went back and forth for weeks with no quote received. So I went to the supplier of the heating system and found who does the most work with them and had their recommendation do an inspection. Turns out that the system does not need a full rebuild, and could be brought up to standard for under $2K. It can be challenging finding a trustworthy contractor...
