Contacted Shawn after we experienced flood damage in our basement. We'd undergone a high end renovation 5 years previously and were concerned that we'd be unable to replicate the same high level of finishing / our hopes were that repair work would be seamless. Accel took care of drywall repairs, baseboard and moulding replacement and finishing, all painting, and ledge-stone/tiling replacement. Competitive, well-priced and thorough estimate, professional, open and timely communication. On time, respectful and great quality, efficient work. Seamless results as we'd hoped. In the not so recent past I had worked with my insurance company to have a similar repair done by a different general contractor which turned out to be a total nightmare. I recently ran into another problem where I needed to have a small but very important job completed in a short time. I decided to call Shawn's company and I have no regrets. Shawn was very professional for the entire process and I have to admit one of the most skilled drywall repair individuals I have met. Shawn was quick to return my phone call and come over to do an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable. He provided a schedule and kept exactly to it and the job was done perfectly. Prior to moving into our new-to-us home, we had to have the poly B pipes removed for insurance purposes. It was devastating to watch so many holes being cut into our new walls and ceiling (after 30 holes I stopped keeping count). There was a major time crunch to get the holes patched because the plumbers were delayed in completing the job and our move date couldn’t be pushed. We have an infant and grandma moving in with us so having the drywall complete prior to move-in (to minimize dust exposure) was critical. Shawn was the most professional and empathetic trades professional that we’ve ever met (after 5 different renovations it feels like we’ve been exposed to a lot of trades). Not only did he ensure the job was done ON TIME, he understood our concerns about moving in with baby/grandma and was careful to minimize dust/disruption. Shawn also happened to be very reasonable in price AND included paint. In addition to being on time, and well-priced, he had the best approach by far. Two other quotes insisted on trying to match the 30+ drywall squares into the existing holes even though they weren’t marked. That would have taken forever. Shawn instead made small cuts to join the small holes into one big hole (in the ceiling) and put a large piece of drywall up instead of a bunch of small pieces – this was done to avoid a wavy look on the ceiling and minimize unnecessary work. No one that sees our ceiling now can find where the new piece went in, no matter how hard they look!! The drywall is flawless. Shawn runs his business as a professional – he is the only one who provided a formal written quote and invoice, which I appreciate as an accountant ???? We will be keeping Shawn’s card handy as he does more than just drywall and he’ll be our first call for the next job.

Accelreno Co. and Shawn totally and completely saved us from a renovation nightmare. My spouse and I had hired three guys to turn our garage into a bedroom, bathroom, hallway and laundry facility. To give us an estimate, we made an appointment with Shawn at 9:30 am Monday morning. Shawn forgot and did not show until later in the afternoon. Normally this is a negative for me, never the less Shawn impressed me with his knowledge and we agreed upon a deal, to start work Aug 8th. He called the next evening and asked if he could do the job the next day, Aug 1 because of same sheduling and the work should be completed by Friday. However the mud didn't dry as anticipated and the work was delayed, but this was not in his control. Plastering a large popcorn ceiling is a big job. Shawn worked quickly and very professionally, he covered the floor with paper, rapped the exposed areas with plastic and cleaned up after the job was done. My wife is very much a perfectionist, and she was very very pleased with the final results - for me this would say it all. Would I recommend Shawn - absolutly and be patient, don't rush, drywall mud must cure and if it takes a little extra drying time, allow for it. We very much like the finished job. It was a pleasure to watch a pro work.

During renovations in my apartment, my bathroom sink overflowed causing water damage to my downstairs neighbour's bathroom and kitchen ceiling. I contacted seven contractors yesterday and was very fortunate to have Kevin stop in at my home on his way home from another project he had just completed. After reviewing the job he agreed to quote me a price later that evening. The price was very fair and because I was planning a trip Kevin agreed to do the work today - he normally does not work on weekends, Both my neighbour and myself are overjoyed with the finished product. Kevin has exceptional credentials in the area of restoration and has been hired as a consultant to evaluate a project on Vancouver Island tomorrow - yet he still took the time to fit me in and complete the job. Kevin is a true professional whom both myself and my neighbour highly recommend for any job you may have in the area of restoration, without reservation. Had some repair work done in our new house after a full re-pipe that needed multiple wall patches and a couple texture matched ceilings (with potlights) to be installed. Mid job we added a few complicated extras and they had no problems tackling the small projects. They were very professional and quick to finish the job. All of their work is flawless and they blended the repairs with existing ceilings perfectly.

Extremely professional, easy to deal with and most importantly: Urgent and cost effective! I was lucky enough to have a repair done within 1 week of my estimate AND it was during the holiday season in December. The final cost to repair was significantly lower than other companies that I received quotes from, at least 30% lower. The ceiling repair was flawless, they had to match a popcorn texture and now you can't even tell that there was once a large hole in our ceiling. Highly recommend to all.

I just had my house painted and the popcorn removed from my entire house by Kevin and his crew. These guys were fantastic, trustworthy, and did great work. Kevin had great attention to detail and noticed imperfections that I would never have. They not only removed the popcorn from the ceiling, they fixed some major imperfections and leaks that I had not noticed. I had some pot lights installed and the guys who installed them made a mess and left holes and chalk lines every where. If Kevin had not been there, I am sure I would've had to pay an arm and a leg for someone to come in and fix it. All of the guys were great. Sean, Kevin and Austin answered so many of my questions and fixed minor things around the house without adding a big price tag. At all times, these guys were super efficient and did great work. I would recommend them many times over. Best of all, they were extremely fair in their pricing and you can trust them with their quotes. Very honest and hardworking group of guys.

We had a great experience with Accel Drywall. We contacted them for a quote on drywall repair, back splash and a pot filler installation. We heard back the same day. The estimate was well priced and work began promptly. Shawn did an amazing job. He was friendly, professional and thorough. We had some small complications, and last minute add ons. Shawn happily accommodated these add ons and trouble shooted the problems with confidence. Over all a great experience and we wouldnt hesitate to hire Shawn again.

Wow, I would like to extend my most sincere thanks to Shawn and his team. He helped us out big time, I cant even express how thankful we are to him. We had different "contractor" begin a basement renovation for us, and this person did a horrible job, including drywalling our ceiling incorrectly among other things. We called Shawn, and he was there the next day to have a look at it. He did the best he could to work with what was here, to get everything cleaned up properly and professionally. He has an amazing eye for detail, and does really clean and professional work, with straight lines and a smooth finish. On time, great communication - estimate was detailed and 100% accurate. Patches and painting were amazing. Competitive pricing. Placed light fixtures, dimmers and even went as far as getting the bulbs in the evening for lights that did not come with them. The customer service alone would be enough reason to use them again and the pricing just makes it that much better. Great work
