I would highly recommend JFS Construction! The reviews list their professionalism, high quality of work, and pride they take to ensure the customer is satisfied. These are absolutely true! In a few lines its hard to relate the JFS experience… from the initial visit where Fred showed up with T-square and level in hand I knew we had invited a craftsman into our home. And it just got better from there. The meeting was not rushed. Fred took great care to understand the look we were going for. If coaxed, Fred would offer valuable experienced knowledge. I received a clear quote with scope of work so we all knew we were on the same page. Throughout the entire process Fred and Steve were very communicative with quick response time, much appreciated! I had learned from previous renos that a key ingredient for a successful outcome was the fit the team and I had when it came to problem solving. My instincts told me Fred and Steve would be easy to work with. I couldn’t have been in better hands! They were very patient, insightful and respectful in how they approached the bumps that come with any reno. And creative! While planning the tile work I let slip what I had really wanted but scaled back thinking it was impossible. Together, encouraged by their enthusiasm and out of the box thinking – and willingness to do intricate detailed work (Steve you rock!) they produced what has become the focal point of our condo! They are both very respectful. Listening to how they work together was lovely, heart warming really. They showed respect for each other, our home, our vision and us! Its more than that they cleaned up each night; they showed in countless ways that they really cared. For example, we have a small blind dog. I would set her up out of the way of the work. Inevitably, I would return to find her standing in the middle of the action while Steve and Fred would weave around her. They always made sure she was safe but knew she was lonely. You could not make a better choice and rest assured your project will meet all your expectations because Fred and Steve will ensure it does! Thank you Fred and Steve for the beautiful home you created for us!

JFS Construction came highly recommended to us by friends of ours. We are very pleased with the work that they did for us. We renovated the basement, which included a family room, bathroom, laundry room and furnace room. We also had the basement waterproofed from the outside. JFS Construction helped us figure out the best solutions and were so great to work with. We could leave for work and come back at the end of the day and be confident that the work was being done properly. No need to watch over them!
