Project ended with a basement reno where the work that has been done is not to standards, Reno not finished, and requiring a police officer to come to my home so the officer could keep the peace as he collected his tools from my home. *does not clean up after his jobs, leaving nails all over the floor in a home where there is a dog and child (and a laundry room in the basement that still requires use), and saws left out without being covered with a safety. If someone stepped on a nail, or tripped onto the saw, that would have been a serious injury. *does not work full days, had over 2 weeks of non communicated no-shows (I was told after I signed the contract that we would need a few days/a week to finish up another job, but did not tell me when those days were, and far exceed what I was told. *later told me he had double booked and was trying to squeeze my basement into his schedule but it wasn’t working out well - NOT my problem, that is your poor management and not disclosed before contract was signed and timelines discussed *this job was to take three weeks to complete...we are now past week 5, it is not done (due to 2 weeks worth of no shows and lack of hours worked) *when the electrician came to do his job, Craig was not onsite and I had to work from home in order to accommodate and not delay the project (he should have been there), same with the inspection. I was not comfortable with this but agreed as to not delay things. *on several occasions, my walk-out basement doors were left unlocked after he left without anyone being home, my windows were also left wide open or unlocked *i have walls/baseboards that are not straight - the baseboards clearly curve in multiple spots *i have a door that was installed at 28” however the quote and expectation provided was it would be 36”. It is also off-center and looks out of place. He did not communicate this change to me. If he had concerns that we were unable to do 36”, that should have been addressed in advance of the walls/door being built and installed so we could address and make a decision as a home owner *any of my concerns regarding quality of work and timelines were dismissed, and I was told to trust him as he was a professional and knows how long things would take. Clearly, he is not to be trusted as the work is not to standards and timelines were not met *he told me in order to meet the timeline, they would do whatever it takes and work as many extra hours as required. He never worked an hour of overtime throughout the entire process *i had to follow up with him multiple times to ensure we had an electrician booked for the day the job was supposed to be done. After asking 4 times, and not giving me updates, he told me he was booked. After calling the electrician, this was not the case *when we ended the contract, I was told repeatedly in writing that he would cut his losses on the remaining payment. I was told the week previous in writing that if the job was not done to my liking and on time by end of day March 6, I could fire him and not pay him anything remaining. My contract also states that final payment is to be provided upon completion and the basement is not complete. Nor to standards. He then changed his tune and persistently told me I must pay him something and got extremely angry. *when I refused payment, he began to threaten me that he will tear my basement apart when he comes to collect his tools. He did so repeatedly throughout the evening. By this point, I no longer felt comfortable having him enter my home (especially with a child in the house) to collect his tools without someone else present. I told him I would call the cops if he showed up because he was not welcome, he didn’t care. He said he would show up and I could call the cops after he left. *i went to the police station the next morning and was told they would have an officer here when he arrived to get his tools, at a time of my choosing. Which they did, and I was very grateful for as I did not know what he was going to do. I did not feel safe.

Horrible job done, careless and bad quality work. Would not recommend at all. We had to hire somebody to come fix your mistakes because you didn't even bother coming to look at your mistakes and fix it. We hired someone that fixed your mistake with SAME EXACT MATERIALS you used. The guy we hired did proper measurements and calculations unlike You. You just did a horrible job and we had to pay someone else to fix it because you do it poorly and refused to even come take a look at your mistakes! I'm posting here so hopefully no one has to deal with your work again and pay to fix it.you won't find quality here. He Did a bad job then tried to blame it on "cheap materials" used but another person came and fixed it without changing the "cheap materials" and it's fine now. The only thing cheap is the quality of your work.

We had them in to do parts of our fence, fist time we had 80 feet of fence that came down in a wind storm, craig did awesome job! The following year we had another 60 feet of fence come down on the opposite side of the yard. Called craig and within the week we had new fence put up. Beautiful work ! Great price. And fast and freindly. On his site he has a pic of our fence .

Craig and his crew provided a very professional and timely service. We needed our floors redone, which required removal of all existing ceramic tiles, grout, subfloor, baseboards etc in our kitchen, hallway, and powder room then replaced with new vinyl flooring, baseboards, door frames etc. This project was done on budget and on time with very little disruption to our daily living . Attention paid to details. Looks great and professional. Will certainly call CK again for future home renovations. Highly recommended !

Unprofessional not recommended to anyone we had bad experiences with them we had to hire an other guy to fix his bad job with out changing the material the problem was with his technique we hired another person because he refused to fix his bad job for free even without bothering him self to come and see the problem he blamed the material because he can do the work just if you buy him the most expensive stuff But the other guy he fixed for us with out we had to change any thing except his unprofessional way. I will keep telling everyone about your bad quality work. You did a very poor job. We hired you to do and big job and you made big mistakes that ruined the job you didn't have the professionalism to even come Look at it. I don't recommend ck construction for any job.

I had an amazing experience with this amazing team! They came and and talked everything through about everything I wanted and didnt pressure me into anything I didnt need or want extra. ( I have had issues with that in the past when my husband is not around) I came to say a big thank you to Craig and Mike especially who went above and beyond and did an amazing job finishing my basement. My bathroom is especially amazing and the shower turned out great! Everyone was great and they made sure to clean up after themselves ( a moms dream!) And just overall very friendly, great fast work with an amazing finished product! I will be uploading pictures once I have decoarting the basement! CK construction will be called again this summer when my husband and I are ready to re do the back patio! Thanks again!!

Craig and his team were great to work with. We decided late in the season to add a deck to our backyard, most companies were not able to get to it till October or l am still waiting for quotes. They just finished our new deck and we are very happy with the work and time it was finished in. Craig is easy to deal with even after I made a few minor chages after starting the job. We worked together and get to enjoy our new space all summer long. We will defiantly have CK Construction at the top of our list if we ever have more renovations we want to do.

Craig and his team are incredibly skilled and professional. Craig is so easy to talk to and he makes you feel that your input is very important. He will explain the pros and cons to all design options. My wife and I couldn't be more happy with the deck that he built for us. We have owned 4 homes and this is the best deck we have had. There isn't a single flaw. Craig is very meticulous in the wood that he chooses as well. He wasn't happy with one of the posts that were delivered. I wouldn't have noticed the flaw but he made sure that it was replaced. He makes sure that you are part of every process as the project moves along. Even when the project was completed he made sure to contact us to see if there were any issues. His crew is very tidy and friendly to speak to.
