I am admittedly a very difficult person to please, and I was so happy with their work that I had them renovate my laundry room a few weeks ago and again had excellent results. They kept us informed of progress, they were on time, they cleaned up the worksite at the end of every day, they came in on budget and the quality of the work was topnotch! The crew is great and very patient and accommodating with my weird tile choices, and pickiness with paint finishes. They take pride in their workmanship and it shows. I would 100% recommend Mckegney Contracting to perform any of your renovations. My wife and I bought our dream home and had enough $ from the sale of our other property to completely finish our unfinished basement. This was a newer house so the basement was completely unfinished, just insulation along the exterior, no studs,walls etc. The completed pics you see, we couldnt be happier!! Chris and his crew were amazing, Chris was always prompt to replying to any msgs or questions we had. They placed runners throughout where they had to travel to protect my floors upstairs. During installation if the crew had any questions for me theyd ask me or have chris talk to me. It was great. The sub contractors for the electrical and drywall were great also! Once about 90% complete I asked them if they could install cabinetry for a bar and hang my tv on the wall in the basement, without hesitation they agreed. Once 100% complete they even hired a cleaner to come in and clean the entire basement and main floor! I could continue to write more and more but in the end, if you want top quality work for your renovation I'd choose Mckegney hands down!

I thought i had won the jackpot when Mckegneys squeezed me in after a bathroom leak. The tile work was pretty good i will give them that, everything else was nothing to write home about although it is worth mentioning that the one worker was quite helpful and patient with me asking a lot of questions. The great review ends there, they scratched my hardwood floors and left the job unfinished. Chris Mckegney asked for full payment minus $500 as i was waiting on a custom vanity for them to install and they would do the rest when they came back. The vanity took longer than expected (everyone is very busy right now) and a couple weeks before it was ready i made several attempts to get a hold of him as they were to do the install, plus hang mirror, towel rack finish baseboards and fix the scratches in my floor, not to mention repair a door etc. I decided to hold back $1200 thinking he had seemed pretty great up to this point but also wanting to leave enough money to ensure they would come back to finish. Apparently i should have held back more because now i cannot get a hold of him. Im sure simple jobs are done well enough by them but do not give these guys more than half until the entire project is completed. Up until i paid the 90% he was very responsive. So very disappointed after seeing their work online and how great he came across. I was so pleased i bought a thank you card and took a couple hundred bucks out to give to the guys as tips, even after buying their lunches a few times. Sadly they never got the tips or card because their boss turned out to be half swindler. Dont be fooled by the pics online, i will gladly show anyone pics of the job they left behind.

I wanted to do a kitchen remodel with Ikea cabinets and Costco counter tops. Other companies gave ridiculous estimates and didn't return calls. McKegney Contracting did the demo, plumbing, electrical, finishing, floor tile and backsplash. They also turned a downstairs bedroom closet into an awesome bathroom (demo, new floor drains, sewage system, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, tile, finish work). Amazing people, amazing value.
