Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Scott and to Jamie for fixing a problem that I thought was going to be impossible but not only did they react with confidence it was doable in the same service visit!!!! Scott had one look and knew exactly what it needed, did it while Jamie attended so skillfully to something I simply mentioned but didn't think there was a solution for. He just jumped right in and it was done!! And all of this Friday before a long weekend. Hawthorne's has always been my choice in kitchens and they've built me beautiful ones over the times I've renovated. Service is awesome, I'm just super impressed that even though I haven't been in touch in 5 years the response was as if the kitchen had just been put in. Scott you are just as friendly and positive as your ads - impressive. Great value to the company! Thanks again.

I moved to a new home on August 1st. Before moving, I visited Hawthorne Kitchens as they were recommended to me by a bath store nearby. We made an appointment with the lady that helped us to come to our new home on the 2nd to do measurements. She came and said she would get back to us in a couple days. We never heard from her again. On August 12th I contacted them via their Facebook page detailing this and was assured when they got to the office they would look in to this and contact me. Today is the 15th and still nothing. So confusing to me why a business would conduct themselves this way, what business wouldn't want thousands of dollars?? ETA: My comments above are NOT bashing, they are FACT, I was never contacted again by this company after measurements were taken (at least in relation to the work). After the measurements, the woman stated she would contact us a couple days, no mention of marriage or honeymoon or leave of absence, she simply stated she would contact us in a couple days and did NOT. Assuming she really did just get married, I would assume she would also understand that a couple is two. Over a year later (Nov 2019), I was contacted via Facebook, asking me to remove my review. I never laughed so hard in my life. I was also messaged again on Feb. 20th asking me again to remove the review. After being accused of "bashing" for simply stating what had happened and the negative tone and unprofessionalism, I'll pass. They've spent more time and energy on this google review than they ever did on their customer service. Please stop messaging me. ETA2: "negative and unprofessional" was your previous reply to my review that you have since deleted. Don't worry, I took screenshots. I'm not removing my review. I had someone here August 2nd 2018 taking measurements who said they would contact me in a couple days. No mention of marriage, honeymoon or even any sort of leave of absence, simply, that they would contact me in a couple days. On August 12th, 10 days later, I contacted your facebook page and was told this would get looked into and I would be contacted. 3 days later, with no contact, I gave up and posted the review. I never did hear back until November 2019 requesting removal of the review. Since then, I've been accused of "bashing" for simply stating FACTS. There was mention in your reply that no company does a quote in a couple days but what about the 10 previous days? Why no communication? Why wasn't my business important? However, the treatment of me since this review, with the word twisting, condescending replies and deleting speaks volumes. I'm not hateful towards you or your company, I simply wanted to share my experience. I've done that, best regards.

My review is a little behind but they did our counters last year. They took our our awful granite that was in the house when we bought it and put in awesome new quartz. It's a really pretty white with little diamonds in it. We dealt with a designer named Scott who also did the install which was neat. He was really helpful even when we bombarded him with emails and changing our minds several times. I was really happy with him! The rest of the Hawthorne team was great, I think the other installer was named Adam who was really polite and great with the kids even when they were in his way. Highly recommend!

Our kitchen ended up beautiful. However to get it to that point was one of the most stressful experiences we have endured as home owners. This was all because of one individual that works at Hawthorne (Don). This man is a great salesmen, however he likes to make promises to his customers that he just can't keep. He left us in the dark with our renovation for about a month (wouldn't return emails or calls). We went and gutted our kitchen thinking we had a install date. He never told us the install date we agreed on was never going to happen, so we were left without a working kitchen for approximately a month or more. I would like to point out that I understand how the pandemic has been difficult for businesses and backorders on material. Our kitchen being delayed regarding Covid is totally understandable, its the lack of communication and how we were litterally ghosted that is upsetting. Blatantly ignoring your clients is not a great way to run a business. With that being said, AJ and his team came to the rescue. AJ has wonderful communication skills, he is kind and always kept us in the loop. The installer Andrew is a great guy and worked quickly and efficiently. Thank you to the employees of Hawthorne for restoring our faith and giving us a gorgeous kitchen!

I had my kitchen cabinets replaced, new counter tops installed and flooring put down throughout my house in the winter of 2019. Everything was done so well and I loved how everything turned out. We had these people do our kitchen when we first moved here and the quality of their work did not match what we payed for. Almost all of our cabinets are crooked and as you can see from the pictures posted below there is also a few more issues. It's been awhile since we did business with them and maybe they have improved their work but as it stands I would not recommend them based on what was given to us.

We bought our kitchen cabinets in 1986 during a major renovations the cabinet quality can not be compared to anything out there. It was decided that they would be restrained from Honey Oak to Cherry Mahogany by a furniture Restorations company. The results are incredible and everyone believes they are new cabinets. Only the best quality materials used and we are thrilled with the layout and restored cabinets

Wow, what do you say about a company who's tag line is "designed for living - built for life" when their install and product starts to fall apart within 6 months of install. Don runs a family business where he rules the roost, oh and he conceals a second business within his business, that his "son" runs. My cabinet doors have swelled and busted, the finish has peeled off all lower doors and drawers and a full bank of drawers needed a skilled carpenter to reinforce the cabinet. When Don was made aware of the issues he sent out his warranty person (also a son), who was able to first tell me he would "look after it" and later tell me that I had "abused" my kitchen.... um, how does one abuse one's kitchen ? I certainly use it, but abuse it...? If you want a kitchen for a quick sale of your home Dons your guy, but then again he's not cheap, so maybe just save the hassle and use someone else who is qualified.

Hawthorne has provided professional client care from design, management of contractors, fabrication of materiel, installation of an entire kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and other rooms, after care service, advice when they couldn't undertake a task for any reason, and just general customer care. Their prices are fair...even more so when considering the work they take for you and the tasks you can avoid. I have the utmost respect for Hawthorne and hardly recommend them for any work your home, business, or project is considering undertaken. You will not be disappointed. I wanted to install my own cabinets as I am a carpenter myself. I priced from Home depot, my wife wanted a price from Hawthorne. The difference in quality was obvious but I thought Home depot would be way cheaper. Hawthorne actually came in at the same price but way better quality. I couldn't believe a box store would charge more for mass produced non custom cabinets but my wife was right. The designer was great and they arrived right when they were supposed too. I had to call Scott a few times because I hadn't installed cabinets in many years and needed help. He was always happy to answer questions and I am very grateful. I would tell anyone to go there. Great value and great product

A bit speechless still, but we could not be happier with our Silestone Blanco Maple Quartz counter tops from Hawthorne!! The process was seamless, no pun intended. They arrived at 9 am and were gone by noon. We had the rest of the day to stare at our brand new, beautiful counters. Huge THANK YOU to Scott who made the process so smooth for us. After a video call, within 2 weeks, we had the counters of our dreams. The quality of the Quartz is amazing. We had a vision of what color/texture we wanted, and they delivered beyond our expectations. I would scream "Scott from Hawthorne" from the rooftops!

Hawthorne Kitchens just did my kitchen in Amherstview and we couldn't be more thrilled! My wife and I tend to be pretty particular and unfortunately were on a bit of a budget. They navigated us to the materials that wouldn't blow the budget but were still the look we wanted and we are very grateful. They just did everything. They tore it all out and re-did our floors and painted the whole room. The cabinets fit great and the Silestone Quartz almost brought my wife to tears. Hawthorne Kitchens did a remodel of my kitchen this past year. Cindy was so generous with her time and designed the most beautiful kitchen. She is very experienced, and was very receptive to input. She always responded quickly to any questions that I had. The product created was incredible. The quality of the cabinets was exceptional. The install team was amazing. Andrew was such a perfectionist and took his time to ensure the kitchen was perfect. Adam did an incredible job on the quartz countertop. The entire team was professional, friendly, and experienced. I am happy to recommend the Hawthorne team who remodelled my condo kitchen. I was so pleased with their work that I recently hired them to upgrade my two bathrooms with vanities and medicine cabinets to match those in kitchen and to install quartz counter tops.They even put up new mirrors for me and painted the bathrooms to perfection. Every employee I came to know was highly professional, competent and friendly: From Cindy’s caring attitude in the office to Leslie, whose designs provide maximum storage space, to Tim who sets the schedules to meet customer satisfaction, to AJ who communicates quickly and effectively with customers and finally to Ed, who is a true perfectionist in his work. The team members show up when scheduled, are easy to have around, leave your place clean and finish the job quickly. Scott contacted me afterwards about the team’s work and Don showed up to inspect the bathrooms when completed. I especially appreciated Hawthorne’s flexibility in putting down tile floors, arranging for plumbing to be hooked up and even offering the finishing touch of painting. In short, I am a very satisfied customer.
