We ordered our deck at the end of May/beginning of June. Half of the deck cost was put down as a deposit. We waited, inspector/city/permit problems just as mentioned in other comments. Trying to get information as to a new time frame was very difficult. We ended up cancelling the project in October because it hadn’t even yet been started.

Not impressed with lack of follow up. Avoids calls, doesn't return calls. Deck demo started in May-June 2018 and its mid October and Job still incomplete. Eager to collect but not in a hurry to finish the job.

Called twice, make appointment, and no show up...it's unprofessional to tell to costumer the date and time twice and no showing up. Not recommend, find another contractor.

Love, love, love my backyard retreat now thanks to Dave and his crew. Absolutely beautiful! Now I have a private oasis for me and my dog. Dean and Rob were a pleasure to work with. Dave, Dean, and Rob were very kind, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. You have a wonderful crew Dave. I couldn't be more pleased!! If there was a rating of 10, they would get 15. completed borges deck(july10/18) , missing the no charge privacy panel. we must have missed the concrete and sorry for that ,payments were made and balance still outstanding, quoted deck...materials were trex materials (custom order,4 weeks)on a pressure treated frame black regal railing system 10x10 deck and stairs

Therrible!!!! Is not the word!!!!! Left our black iron fence not done!!! A few wrong panels,(not the same patern) all the post are cut at deference heights, panel clip missing!! And fence uneven all around!!!! Dave has not returned and has not called since last summer!!!! I have called another place to come and finish Dave’s job!!!! (The owner) and as soon as I mentioned Dave’s name they laugh!!!!

Dave and his team did a fantastic job. Dave always returned my calls in a timely manner, and followed up with me shortly after the project was complete to ask if I was satisfied - and I was, very. They had my old deck out in less than a day and it was replaced with a very sturdy and fantastic looking deck the next week. I would certainly recommend this company for anyone looking to get a new deck built.

Terrible. One of worst experiences i have ever had. Never finished the job as promised. Avoided our calls and never returned them. Left a 50 pounds of cement in the yard for us to clean. Broke our lawn furniture. Said he would come on many occassions but never does. Currently i am involved with better business bureau and more to voice my concerns and dissatisfaction. Shameful. There were issues from the start as the applications to the city were filled incorrectly which delayed the process. He of course put the blame on them. Amazing that he had time to write a comment but did not have the time to answer his phone or return the 6 messages left for him. In order for us to talk to him at the end we had to block our number or use someone else's cell phone - minutes apart. This shows his professionalism as he chose to comment to my concerns on google reviews but never chose to call and explain. Of course there is a small balance as the work was never complete. My only regret is that we did not hold off on paying more until the entire job was complete. Plus giving himself a 5 star. Shameful! I know that most of my neighborhood is replacing decks and I want to ensure that everyone knows our terrible experience with the guy. Now I will need to contact another company to complete the job.
