Our experience with Seal-Rite, Dave, and the entire team was absolutely fantastic! They came in to fix a crack which was leaking on the north wall of our foundation wall. After an inital meeting and quote, Dave provided an excellent contact to get some structual engineering drawings completed to correct issues from a previous contractor. This proved to be only the start of the errors from a previous contractor, all of which Dave and his team took in stride and were able to correct. They worked with us to schedule the work being completed, and went far above and beyond in terms of quality of work and professionalism. When on site, the worksite was kept as clean as possible using plywood boards, and by keeping one pile of mud (which was cleared up within 24hrs of completing digging, well before the completion of the full project). Every crew member who came on site was respectful and professional. Even though this project became a 'can of worm' in terms of scope, everything was completed quickly and explained fully to allow us to understand what needed to be done. We will use Seal-Rite for any future needs, and will certainly be strongly recommending to anyone who requires foundation work to be completed.

Unmatched professional, honest, service. Finding Seal-Rite was an absolute blessing for me. I purchased a home during the pandemic, and after being negotiated out of a home inspection, discovered a large horizontal crack in my foundation. I discovered Seal-Rite and Dave through my realtor. Dave would always pick up the phone, or return my calls if missed within 2 hours tops. I have never been in a situation like this, and he took the time and guided me through the whole process and when it came time to provide me with an estimate, encouraged me to shop around. When we were looking at purchasing our house, the home inspection revealed some foundation issues in the basement. Our realtor recommended Dave at Seal-Rite for a foundation inspection. He gave us an estimate of the cost of repairing the issue and was very friendly. Once we had purchased the house, we had his guys come and do the work. The work came in at less than the initial estimate and the guys that did the work were very competent and professional. Dave is very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We are happy to recommend.

We had a leak in our basement from our driveway wall side. We called Dave from Seal-Rite and he was available on Saturday morning to give us an estimate. He arrive exactly at the time he said he would come! He was very knowledgable and very friendly. He gave us a very competitive quote and was ready to start work almost right away! His crew came and dug the outside wall very quickly and I was impressed how they kept the work area clean. The wall was waterproofed and a French drain was installed and area was back filled with river stone. Dave came back a couple of weeks later once the rocks settle to apply a strip of concrete to make the driveway look nice. Since the repair, we haven't found and water in the basement when it rains. Great service, very professional and friendly. I highly recommend anyone to use Dave if you have any foundation issues as he will give you a great price!

We highly recommend Seal-Rite for foundation repairs. As a new home owners, we were very anxious when water started seeping into the basement unexpectedly. Dave answered our request for an estimate quickly, easily found the likely source of the problem (even though the water had stopped by this point), answered the many questions that we peppered him with about shifting foundations, wall cracks, etc., and sent an estimate right away. When spring came, Dave scheduled the foundation repair for as soon as the ground would be thawed enough to dig and gave us advice about dealing with any water seepage before then. The Francis and the other guys on the work crew were friendly, professional, and efficient. Despite the crack being below a raised porch and beside an area covered with paving stones, they did the work quickly and returned everything back to exactly the way that it was before they began. We highly recommend Seal-Rite and would definitely call them again if we were to encounter more problems in the future.

I called Seal-Rite to come do an inspection/assessment of our home due to some issues we were having with our house. We noticed some cracks forming in the upstairs walls, and some doors not closing as well as they should. I wanted to an assessment done to see if things were bad enough to warrant foundation repair or not, or if it was likely this was going to get worse. In all honesty I was pretty nervous about this as I do live in a part of town that is known to experience some shifting and what not, and if a shady contractor wanted to it would have been possible to play up my fears and tell me my worst thoughts were true and I should get a bunch of work done. However that is not what happened. My house was inspected by David Rennie and I have nothing but good things to say. Dave was very professional and helpful. We went through the house and I showed him what were my areas of concern and he even showed me things I hadn't noticed, but went on to assure me that this was perfectly normal for this part of the city. He listed a few areas of the city where you just have to get used to doing patching and painting and that some shifting year to year is going to happen. He told me how he has worked on houses in my area and that our house was not in the same positions and that to do any work at this point wasn't necessary. He explained that there have been some dry recent summers with a some what wetter one this passed summer and the ground shifting in these areas looks a bit worse in some houses than they really are. He gave me some pointers of what to watch out for and how to take some preventive measures as well. He really put my mind at ease, and I genuinely learned a thing or two. If in the future I do need any of these services I will surely be reaching out to Seal-Rite.

We had a leak a couple of years ago around our basement window they were quick and professional with the repair and not a drop since. I currently have another leak because the front steps moved away from the house and am currently talking with them about the repairs. I will always use them for all my foundation needs .
