I am writing to express my frustrations with the heavy duty equipment stored behind my home. We purchased our home back in 2008 and moved into the front of and empty lot which we were told was going to be used for commercial use. Needless to say, our family has been quite disappointed with the eye sore we must see every day when we look out our back yard. It appears to look like a junk yard behind my home and I see old bus shelters, trailers and dump trucks. I am sure you can appreciate my frustration as we pay over $3,000 in property taxes. As well, according to a home appraisal that was done last year due to the unattractive view of the yard, it has also significantly decreased the value of our home. I also have concerns with the number of mosquitoes due to the standing water as well as the disposal of the fuel and oil in the equipment. I respectfully hope you can appreciate my concern for my family's health and safety as we are a family with 3 children who like to spend time in our back yard. If any other neighbour feel this way.. I strongly suggest you contact me.

Edited: May 30: Jayden did replace 4 cones. I will change my rating but will give a 3 because of the manager who I first spoke with. May 23, 2019 - Got word that Jayden from the company came by after I called in to say he would replace 4 cones. Will update on here when that happens. May 23, 2019 - One of the drivers for JC Paving Ltd was kind enough to drive over 2 of our cones that was marking out materials that were on the street. I called them and talked to a lady on the phone, who was nice and said she would pass on the message to her manager. Some guy from this company, I assume was the manager, called me back. He was very defensive from the beginning of the conversation right to the end. I explained to the guy that the owner saw their truck drive over 2 of our cones. Instead of apologizing or offering to replace the cones that were destroyed , the guy told me "it happens to us all the time", and moved on to say, "Who cares!" We were looking for at least an apology and maybe talking to their drivers about being more careful while driving, which should have been a giving with any company working in any industry. We hope in the future you will be more careful when driving in residential areas and not damage property that people work hard for!

very sloppy and unprofessional works smoke and drink on my fire escape. when i asked them to moved they yelled and swore at me and left a pile of cement by my back door and i got cement on my clothes and alnost tripped over the pile. called to have them remove it tgey said they would and the lied. not cool this happened today nov 6th 2018

this company did my back lane last fall, they tore up and broke my fence with their machinery and when i called to inform them of this, i was yelled and swore at by the employee. He then hung on me. I have requested to have them at least come and take a look and they refused. At least come and look at what i'm complaining about. I am now dealing with the city to get this fixed. The city should highly recommend not giving them any further contracts if they can't work when they are supposed to or talk to residents with some level of professionalism.

J C paving was hired by the city of Winnipeg to pave a back lane in my neighbourhood. It's been horrible. They have gone over the time schedule by more days than they originally said the job would take. Meanwhile they were there not even half the amount of days. They went over budget by at least 40% to which the homeowners are on the hook for. They tore up perfectly good concrete from behind our garage and we were left with poorly packed gravel which will wear down quickly. As well will be difficult to shovel come winter time with snow. The list goes on.... Very, very poor time and money "management"

When it comes to customer service I should be able to rate this company zero stars. They are rude ,arrogant and think that they are 100% correct ( when in fact they are completely at fault )When it comes to getting them to correct their mistakes, all you get is a rude run a round. Do yourself and the people that have been missed treated by this company a favor, and look elsewhere for the services you require .
