There are very few days when Janine doesn't say,' I love my kitchen'!! Heading into this project was one of the biggest we'd tackled so far and the first we let someone else take it on for us. When talking to others about their renovation nightmares and the length of time it took to complete the work added an extra layer of worry. Many folks we'd spoken to indicated that if we were told it would take 3 months...that translated into 6 months. That stereotype of contractors not delivering on time and on budget was put to rest under your direction Jason. You got it done for us and our level of stress and decision making was minimal. The work was done on time, done well, and especially to our liking. We came home everyday to see something else completed and you kept us informed along the way. We felt it was our project and never felt pressured to compromise nor feel that our requests were unreasonable. Big or small you treated us in a supportive and accommodating manner. We had a great experience with this company and highly recommend them. Dale and his crew remodeled our bedroom and installed new carpet on our top level. The job was completed in a timely manner and the communication was great. Dale dropped by often to monitor how things were progressing and responded to calls, texts, and emails almost immediately. We recently underwent a major renovation on the main level of our new home. We’d met with a few contractors before Creative Design Contractors but none of them felt like a right fit. We were nearing our possession date and needed to find someone fast so on the recommendation of our designer we met with Jason. We immediately knew we’d found the right person for the job. His passion, dedication and professionalism were obvious from the start and never wavered. Luckily for us, Jason was able to get up to speed quickly, provided us with a quote that we reviewed and worked together to identify additional costs savings by supplying some materials ourselves, using a few independent trades’ people we knew and salvaging materials. We were also very happy to hear that they guaranteed their work for two years. From day one we were impressed with the entire team at Creative Design Contractors. Everyone who worked on our home was knowledgeable in their craft, professional, listened to our questions or concerns, responded quickly to calls/texts and always respectful, friendly and fun to be around. We trusted these people, which was important considering everyone had full access to our home day and night. Jason and his team worked diligently to deliver a finished product we could all be proud of. The level of detail was evident in everything they did from refinishing walls, installing lights, windows, trim, kitchen cabinets, appliances, plumbing and more. If we hired an independent trade’s person, Jason and his team worked with them to ensure everything was completed as planned. Issues or addendums were addressed quickly, with options and always in consideration of our budget. Deficiencies noted during the final walkthrough were dealt with before our final move in. Even an issue we had a few weeks after the renovation was completed and resolved quickly. My husband and I often joked that for three months there was a third person in our relationship...Jason. He is always connected to you, letting you know how the project is progressing; putting your mind at ease when issues come up and ensuring you are still on track to meet your target budget and completion date. In the end, we were ecstatic that we did come in close to our original budget and completion date, which were only off because of an unforeseen issue had with a supplier we chose to use. My husband always says in life, as in business, you always want to be around and work with people you like, are comfortable with and respect. This was the case with Jason and his team. This company takes great pride in everything they do and we couldn’t imagine having gone through this renovation with anyone else. We’ve used them since for small projects and will continue to use them again and again. Kitchen Renovation by Creative Design To be without a kitchen, particularly over Christmas, could be a very traumatic time for any family. Fortunately, Jason and the Creative Design team minimized any issues throughout the demolition, construction and installing phases. From the outset, we felt very comfortable with the collaboration of Jason from Creative Design and Donna Ilago from XYZ Design. The challenge was to incorporate the attributes of a modern kitchen within a traditional turn of the century home with its archways and mahogany and oak trim. Donna worked wonders with the initial design and Jason addressing the numerous structural issues. As construction began, they both continued working together identifying issues and offering solutions. From start to finish, there was constant communication between us. We were very impressed with the professionalism of all members of Creative Design construction and installing teams. They went out of their way to minimize any disruption to our lives. The job site was kept clean and organized and draped off to keep the rest of our house livable. The only major surprise during the renovation was finding evidence of knob and tube wiring. This required removing the old wiring throughout the house. The electricians from Direct Connect Electrical were able to complete the work without damaging any plaster ceilings or decorative mahogany trim. Jason assembled a great crew to bring Donna’s design to reality. We now have a kitchen that is both stunning and functional that blends beautifully with the rest of our home. Thank you to Jason, Donna, and their teams for their professionalism and dedication towards quality and service. And most of all, reducing our anxiety throughout the entire process. We had CDC LTD do our kitchen. A huge renovation job, new cabinetry and appliances. Also, some unexpected additional construction work that had emerged (it's an old River Side home). From the very first contact to the comletion of the project, we had only excellent experience with them. They understood our needs and wishes right away and never tried to impose any changed on their own (ulike some of other contractors in the past). They provided prompt and objective assessment of the costs and at a very reasonable price, and did not change the price despite the additional works that had to be done. They were updating us regularly about the progress of the project and have kept the rest of the house clean to the point that we almost did not feel any interferrence with our daily life (another unique experience compared with some of our previus contractors). Finally, they completed the job as planned with no delays and left us with clean, new kichen we could use right away. This is by far the best experience we have ever had with any such company (and there were quite a few of them) and we can only highly recommend them.

We are very happy with the workmanship as well as the care given to the site during construction. Very good trades people with attention to detail and they coordinated well with our designer. We used CDC to completely remodel our unfinished basement. Dale came out to provide an obligation free estimate and spent about 45 minutes with me discussing how he could bring my vision to reality. Other contractors were in and out in 10 minutes and didn't care to discuss my vision in such depth. I knew from this that CDC would be my choice. The project extended just a bit beyond the original time line, but Dale's attention to detail was unmatched. There were no budgetary surprises and the entire CDC crew and subcontractors were all considerate and great to work with. Lorna and Dale were prompt in their communication of project progress and updates. Special mention goes out to Dave and Gord for their level of professionalism and the pride that they take in their work...it shows in our final product. We look forward to using CDC again in the future and I would not hesitate to make a recommendation to anyone!

I called this company yesterday to get a quote to finish my basement, and the first thing you gentleman asked me was if I had other quotes before, and when I asked him why he was asking me that question his responds was basically "hes a very busy man and he has no time to waste on people that had no idea how much basements cost". Than he proceed to tell me in a rude tone "never mind he doesn't want to give me a quote". What happened to customer service, and what this company doesn't know is that our combined income is in the six figure bracket and planned to spend OVER $ 60,000 for our basement and we WILL NEVER recommend this company EVER!!!!! If this is how they treat their potential clients no thanks, I cant imagine how they would treat you AFTER they take your hard earned money. WINNIPEG stay away cause you deserve to be treated properly not like a piece of meat.
