I recently referred Realty Renovation to my mom for a kitchen renovation. I'm surprised to see the previous negative review as it was not our experience at all. The work was excellent, all workers were certified (I even checked in on them during the job) and Myles was honest and reliable from the get-go. From the moment she met Myles, she felt confident that him and his team were right for the job. She even gave him her house keys and went on vacation for a month. Which is a big step for her! Upon her return, the job was complete and exactly to her specifications. She loves it. Every issue they can fix, they have done so with a smile. If you are renovating in Kelowna or the Okanagan or have a special project, Realty Renovation is the company I choose. One call and Myles is at our service ! Great contractor with a personal touch. 5 months after move in! Renovating our last home for us in The Dillworth area. Very well organized and they have great relationships with the trades. We feel in control and Dan and Morris have been amazing! Ask for them as your project managers! If we renovate in Dillworth again, they will definitely be receiving a call back!!!!

Our renovation was essentially a gut job to convert the main floor of a little 1960 bungalow in E Kelowna to an open floor plan for our family of four: new bathroom, kitchen (w/dramatic eclipse door opening to back), living room and fireplace including new floors throughout. Majority of basement also renovated to accommodate signature new staircase & new kids’ bedroom featuring new egress window. We vetted four Design-Build companies before signing a contract with Realty Renovation. We were impressed with Myles' organization and informed feedback on our dreamy ideas. The Design Phase was more involved than we had anticipated and was significantly over the quoted budget. However, Myles' creative eye and feel for the big picture in combining so many different selections would turn out to be invaluable. The Construction Phase began in January ‘17. Demolition started right on schedule and Mike and trades people would be hard at work through June. Looking around the city at so many slow-moving/stalled construction projects today, the value in having a dedicated team from RR on site virtually every weekday for six straight months was huge. Good communication led by Stephane throughout the Construction Phase was key. Stephane is a master craftsman whose calm demeanor really helped keep things on an even keel. As the reno took shape, his flexibility on the job played a significant role in the project’s success. His attention to the finest detail is evident everywhere we look. The care that went into the flawless installation of a stunning new wood ceiling on the main floor is something we will continue to appreciate for years to come. In the final analysis, the reconciliation of our cash allowances did include a few surprises. Ideally we would have been alerted to these overages in real time. At the same time, we acknowledge and appreciate additional work outside of scope that was also provided by Realty Renovation with little costs. For topmost quality, I would not hesitate to recommend the highly professional team at Realty Renovation.

We recently had Myles of Realty Renovation add a suite to our existing 1970’s split level. We were very delighted with the professionalism and expertise that Myles brought to this project. He has a creative mind and was able to describe a wonderful transformation to our home. He started us off with a budget so that we knew what we were looking at going into the project. He kept us on budget throughout, and if we decided to add items, we were informed as to the cost – so there were no surprises at the end. The workmanship is exceptional, right down to the banisters. He introduced us to all the trades and businesses he used in our project which made our relationship with them very comfortable. Curtis and his crew of siders have been working around our apartment building in Penticton BC. Doing an extensive exterior renovation to the 30 unit building which my husband and I live at. We had an issue with how the trim was installed around the sliding patio doors. We brought this to Curtis and Myles' attention and with in the hour our request was completed. We are very happy with our bathroom reno done by Realty Renovations. We had an old tile shower removed and they put in a new marble shower which is a thousand times better. They were able to increase the size of what had been a very small shower. They also took care of a mold problem that we found once the old shower was removed, which we really appreciate. All of our taps have been updated, the grout redone, and a new toilet put in as well, making for a very nicely redone bathroom. The crew was very pleasant and hard working, and we would definitely recommend them as the quality of work done was very very good. Nothing was rushed or done shoddily and all of our concerns were taken care of. Thank you team at Realty Renovation Kelowna!

I had an excellent experience working with Myles and his team at Realty Renovation Kelowna during a bathroom renovation and repairing a leaking balcony. I had dealt with several unscrupulous and flaky contractors on a previous renovation and was looking for a contractor that would: 1. Provide accurate Estimation of price 2. produce high quality workmanship 3. Completed the work on schedule Before doing any work Myles provided me with a detailed and transparent estimation which allowed me to budget for the project with relative peace of mind. The quality of the work completed was excellent. Upon pulling apart my deck they found additional rot which needed to be addressed, this meant the job took on a larger scope than expected, but the team at Realty Renovation worked hard to finish the job within an acceptable timeframe. All in all I am extremely satisfied with my experience working with Realty Renovation and would recommend them for any one looking for high quality, professional contractor that demonstrates excellent accountability and integrity.

William provided an estimate for a new composite deck for my home last spring and the project was completed in June, 2016. I am delighted with the finished results. In the fall there was a minor problem that developed with the alignment of one of the steps and William followed up immediately with me to ensure the problem was corrected quickly. The crew that worked on the deck was courteous and efficient and cleaned up the site upon project completion in a very professional manner. In addition many local contractors remained unpaid, leading to liens against my property. Run away!

When it was time to do our Main bathroom in our 53 years old Bungalow we turned to Realty Renovation, as they tackled renovating both the exterior of our house along with the kitchen. With both of these projects I (we) were very impressed with not only Myles' crew, but with the sub-contractors that Myles and Jeff had in to do work like electrical and plumbing along with vendors e.g. Wayne (tile). I'm very happy to report that this continued with this bathroom renovation as well! Myles's crew (Stephane and Rodney) arrived on time and their work was of the highest quality! Once more the subcontractors were excellent as well. We ran into dimmer switch problem with the vintage LED light bulbs we had for our bathroom fixture. Kevin at Sun Valley Electrical researched for the best option and had a new switch in the next week that works great! And Wendy at Norelco was great walking us through all the different opinions for cabinets and counter tops. The new bathroom is such a dramatic improvement, thanks to Myles and everyone involved. The job did take longer than expected but if you want great results, solid workmanship and an organized team, then you have to expect things to be done right. If your paying 100k+ for a full renovation, its going to take some time. Now that its done, I am so happy with how everything turned out! I would not recommend using Realty Renovations. Myles did not complete the job we paid him to do and left after many false promises of our renovation being completed. We now have to seek legal matters to get our money back. My experience with realty renovations has been a complete nightmare.

We saved up a long time in order to get our dream kitchen. When we were ready to do so, we interviewed 16, (yes 16!) Renovation / kitchen design companies in Kelowna and surrounding Okanagan. Realty Renovation was the top contender from the start. We had a good feeling from the initial meeting with Curtis and Myles. We really liked the idea of the project binder with all of the budget and breakdown costs listed out for us. Bring a shift worker, another appealing point was the schedule. They had everything laid out, who was going to come when, and very rarely, if at all, strayed from the plan. Throughout the process, we had a lot of questions. But never once did we feel like we were being a bother by asking or clarifying something. The whole team was amazing especially Dan, our project manager. We now have our dream kitchen and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! I recommend these guys to anyone, a million times over!
