Building our retirement home in the Buckhorn area has been our largest project ever. We were very lucky to have met Randy Smith and were not disappointed whatsoever. His company built our dream home on time and within budget. The workmanship throughout the house is top notch. Randy managed and coordinated all sub-trades during the building process. Contacted Dave to have my basement finished for a new townhouse near Trent University. He was patient and professional 100% of the way through. Explained every step and exceeded my expectations every time even as I kept changing them. His quotes were always fair. His team got the job done under my budget and earlier than originally expected. The work they did was 10/10 - really paid attention to detail - even for things I hadn't considered. They moved my on-demand water heater and the frame its on back by 2 feet just so the basement bedroom can have a full size closet. They installed top of the market smoke/CO detectors that were triple the price just so it would match the rest of the house. To this day I have not heard a more silent fan than the one they used for my bathroom. All of these things I did not even think of and they did it without me asking and without charging me an extra dollar. Haven't heard of many other contractors that I can say the same about. R&M Smith Contracting have since been my go-to contractors. Would recommend them to anyone.

Before we could retire, we needed to renovate our lake front property. We began our search for a contractor. We received several names. Based on the workmanship of a previous build, we chose Randy Smith. Randy was very professional and personally managed all aspects of the reno as we were only able to be there on weekends. This reduced our stress level considerably. We were very impressed with the fact he completed the reno ON TIME and WITHIN BUDGET. We highly recommend Randy and his team, you will not be disappointed.
