In November our heat pump failed to ignite. Called Service Plus and even though they were overbooked we had a service rep at our house the same afternoon. Diagnosis after full cleaning showed control board needed replacing. Due to floods and road closures in lower mainland, they had to order out of province. Part arrived today and was told rep would be here ar 10:00 am, he arrived couple minutes before and was gone by 10:30 house now warm again. I highly recommend this company as both times we needed them they did a great job. Koodos to the company. Thanks ????

Professional, knowledgable, fast, quality service. Furnace stopped working during Christmas Holidays. Joel attended and sussed out the problem within minutes. He returned the following week to replace the heat exchanger in less time than he had originally estimated, and went out of his way to qualify us for a substantial rebate from Carrier. Joel clearly cared about doing a great job not only with the mechanicals, but also with the client experience. It was a pleasure having him in our home - easy to talk to and no fuss.

They managed to squeeze us in to their busy schedule and fix our non-functioning air conditioner within a couple of days when other companies wouldn't be out for a couple of weeks. With record temperatures forecasted for the next few days they were a life saver. Technician was friendly and knowledgeable and got the unit up and running without a problem.

Terrible service as 'Service Plus' were no help at all...more expensive than their competitors. When we complained at Better Business Bureau, all they replied with were lies and excuses. This company should be ashamed to call themselves a 'service' as all they care about is money and not treating customers right! We will never buy anything at this place. Buyer beware!

Justin truly went above and beyond for me. When I wanted to move my heating off of fossil fuels, he provided a number of options at a great price point. They installed a dual-fuel system with a great warranty and then came back several times to ensure the heat pump was tuned as far as possible to utilize electricity rather than gas. A great rebate was offered by BC Hydro that required some unusual documentation and calculations by the installer. Justin spent a great deal of time investigating the requirements and reaching out to Ministry folks who actually grant the rebates. He could have said he’d done all he could or that they just don’t offer that kind of documentation, but he didn’t. This is real customer service. And it has earned Service Plus my loyalty and referrals. Thanks to all their hard work, I have a $7,000 rebate in my pocket and an HVAC system I love.

I am writing this review as I sit here in my cold house. We had Service Plus come in and look at our central heating system and furnace as we were not happy with how we were not getting any heat or A/C in certain rooms of our house. After thoroughly evaluating our residence and current furnace, Service Plus advised us to replace our furnace with an Amana Premium Series High Efficiency Gas furnace system to solve our problem and fix our issue. They assured us that this was the only way to resolve our issue and get more air going to all of the vents in our house. We paid over $4000.00 for the new furnace and labour yet we are still not getting any heat coming through the vents in the very same rooms that weren't when we had the old furnace system. The new furnace did absolutely nothing and after spending $4000 we are still sitting in a cold house as it made no difference. We actually had more heat when we had our old furnace which had nothing wrong with it. We took the advice and put our faith in Service Plus and its employees to provide us with solution, yet they failed. The only thing they actually did which they promised to do was to take our money. I would not be going back to Service Plus as they did nothing to fix my heating problem and I am out my money.

I can’t believe I have to give them a star. If I could give them a 0 I would. Buyer beware please don’t use and get ripped off like I did. Avoid service plus Kamloops at ALL costs. They damaged my house and refused to pay for it (they put their foot through my ceiling) and put a hole in my deck. They also left a gas leak which could have disastrous for me and the whole neighbourhood. Do not use!!!!

Exceptionally rude on the phone. They didn't know when they could book an appointment even and then hung up on me. Guess they dint want to make money... Called Kamloops Heating and Air Conditioning.They sent someone out immediately with a heater to keep us warm over the weekend, booked us in ASAP, and were very helpful on what we could check and try to do on our own over the weekend. Amazing service! Service Plus, you could learn a lot from them!

Just a quick note. I was very impressed with David. He repaired the outside tap at the rental suite I'm in. He arrived on time and called to let me know he was there. He was polite, did a great job of the repair including installing an access hatch to make any future maintenance much easier. Cleaned up after himself enough I wouldn't have known he was there. Very happy with the service!

I have dealt with Service Plus several times since moving to Kamloops and they are excellent. The first time, they responded immediately to an emergency call for a burst pipe. Impressed by the professionalism of both dispatch and technicians, we later contracted Service Plus to modify our radiant heat system and install an new gas line during a kitchen renovation. Today, our 15yro hot water tank blew a leak. Although busy and under short notice, their technician showed up within 1 hour, and got the new tank installed and working right away. Great service, polite and knowledgeable staff. You won't go wrong with this company.

Our air conditioner quite a few days ago and with the hot weather here it was very difficult to find a service company to fix our conditioner..I called Service plus yesterday and they were totally booked for a week but the dispatcher,Shannon, said she would try for tomorrow. Well low and behold she kept her word and I had Greg, the repair person here today and it is fixed. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism.

Called to have all new appliances installed, gave the list. Expensive but figured you get what you pay for. The installer complained the entire time and said he doesn't do microwaves and walked out. Unpleasant to be around and overall a bad experience. I would say "SERVICE MINUS" is a more appropriate name

When we turned our heat on for the first time this fall we expected to smell that burning dust smell for the first day or so but it never went away! We figured that since we’ve never had it serviced (it’s only 2 years old), with the construction dust, and the fires this year that it probably had something to do with it so we called Service Plus Plumbing & Heating. Customer Service answered my call quickly and was friendly and knowledgeable. The technician was very professional, friendly, explained things well and got the job done quickly! The cost was under what we expected it to be and the smell is gone ???? We highly recommend them without any hesitation!

I called them to come look at a blocked drain. Gave them all our info. Tech showed up, but they didn't go to the back of the house to where the suite was. They called me to say no one was home, even though our tenant was waiting for them. I asked her if they went to the back. They said they didn't, but it was because I never told them it was in the suite (although I did). They rebooked for later in the day and did get the issue resolved. Happy with the tech's work (fixed in less than 30 mins), but less happy with the customer service considering it was obviously a miscommunication.

Get it in writing or be there on installation day. The product is good but they do whatever is easiest for them and don't care what you ask for. I asked that the hole in the basement floor be filled before the furnace was installed, and that the furnace exhaust go out the back of the house. When I got home the furnace was installed without the hole being filled and the exhaust was put out the side of the house. Not happy with Alex blowing it off like it was no big deal.

We purchased a heat pump, furnace and hot water tank from them 9 years ago...The heat pump shut down in 40 degree weather and they were here within 5 hours of our call to fix it despite their completely insane schedule. These guys installed our furnace, hot water tank, and AC when we moved into our house almost 7 years ago and they were great then. Our hot water tank went on the weekend and they rearranged things to get a guy out here ASAP and fix our hot water tank. Very professional, fast and awesome service. Would definitely recommend!

We had bought a Hot Water Tank at Home Depot and it was faulty. After many calls with the Manufacture of the hot water tank and not getting anywhere with the manufacture company, Shannon at the Service Plus in Kamloops was absolutely amazing!!! She went out of her way to help us get an answer from them so we could replace our faulty one and right away they came out to install the new one. They are exceptional people at in the Kamloops Branch I highly recommend them We are now looking into buying Filtration system from them for our house. They are absolutely the best.
