On November 29, 2017 I hired Kristopher Mirchandani and Live Free to replace 128 sq.ft. of laminate flooring. Kris and Live Free were fired on January 5, 2018 as the job was not completed by the mutually agreed upon completion date, December 15, 2017. The incomplete job included poor workmanship, such as improperly measured cuts and the laminate installation starting in the middle of the floor, not the width of a piece of plank plus 1/4 inch away from a wall. The laminate now has many instances of puckering. As a result of the issues stated above, I paid Kris a deposit but not the full contract amount. From my experience, Live Free is not a reliable, professional and knowledgeable company.

Kris is a nice guy, but he has trouble paying his subcontractors fully or on time. He postpones you to the point you have to get mad to get paid. He threw away a sub for $300 because of that

This company does not pay its contractors. Once you complete a job for him he doesn’t respond to texts, or phone calls, and makes every excuse under the sun to not pay after you do the job. Avoid this company like the plague
