Back in September I went for surgery when I got home I found out my furnace wasn't working I called Kamloops Heating And Air at 6:pm and was told it was after hours Rob showed up and explained what was wrong with it and gave me my options, the best option was to replace it on top of that my ac broke down in the summer so I was quoted the package new furnace and ac unit at a reasonable price luckily the furnace and ac was in stock and he was able to book it in the next day. Jay Showed up the next day with a helper and made a masterpiece out of my old pile of junk Would recommend Kamloops Heating and Air to EVERYONE A+++ SERVICE A+++ INSTALLER THANKYOU

I cannot express how happy I am that I found Kamloops Heating and Air Conditioning!! I've owned my mobile home for 1 month. The day I moved in I had no heat. I contacted a company that I found on line that's new in town and based in Vancouver. They were very high priced, and I'm still waiting for a copy of my invoice and a quote to install a gas range and fireplace. Fast forward to today, my pilot light had gone out again, I called KH & AC. Marc was here within the hour. Fixed my "old" furnace by replacing a part, reprogrammed my thermostat so I dont have to keep adjusting it, and had me warm and cozy all in a matter of minutes. I asked him if he would send me a quote for the gas range and fireplace install and he emailed it to me two hours later! And on top of it all, I'm on the call list to have a maintenance visit every fall. Oh, and did I mention, their price was very reasonable!! I will be their customer for life and I will recommend them to all my friends and family!! Very professional company!! Great job Kamloops Heating and Air Conditioning!! Our Old AC unit died so we contacted kamloops H & AC, got a quick quote to replace. Scheduled the job and after an initial attempt to re schedule by the owner we stuck with the original date as my wife took the day off work specifically. My wife commented that the installer arrived 2 hours early, was polite and courteous. I came home from work to a nice new AC unit installed. The furnace room floor was littered with debris from the installer, my wife swept and picked up the garbage. The seam between the top of the furnace and new AC coil was not sealed at all. Cold air blew out from the couple of long gaps into the furnace room. After a phone call to discuss they sent the installer back to fix what was not done properly in the initial install. The installer left the AC set a 63 deg so the house was super cold when we got home. That evening the weather was very rainy and cold and we turned the furnace on to Heat the house. Within 20 minutes our house was full of toxic burnt plastic smoke that burned our eyes and made us cough. After exiting the house with all the windows open we called the company and the owner Gary came over very quickly, which was great. He looked at everything and I explained what had happened, twice, he felt perhaps some lint or dust had gotten into the furnace? He ran the furnace for 5 minutes and no smoke. After he left we ran the furnace at bed time only to have the house slowly fill with smoke! We shut everything off and had to open all the windows. It went down to 6 deg, was a 2 blanket night. I left messages and asked them to have a look first thing in the morning, we left the furnace on so they would see the smoke. We have not had an update or anyone inform us of what the problem was or what to do about it. they did email the invoice that day with no mention of anything. Great Great service and follow up! Yes that's sarcasm. I would not use this company for any future work.

Gas Hot Water Heater quit heating Sunday, phoned Gary and set up appointment for Monday 8am. He arrived at 7:30 (to arrive early in the trades sector is rare). Pinpointed the problem within minutes, pilot was out, likely due to strong wind. Showed me how to relight pilot if it happened again and advised if it continued going out to call him back and likely would only have to replace a few parts rather than having to get a new heater as it's still in good condition. Heater was fired up and heating water all within 20 minutes.........thank you Gary!

Just had a central humidifier installed to combat the dry air this winter which can prevent mucus membranes from drying out which leaves you vulnerable to colds and flu. Over multiple years I've had them install an air conditioner, new furnace, and a centralized electronic air filter (which actually filters smoke - which was of huge benefit during the fires - the air was so clean you couldn't even smell smoke in my house and outside was insanely smokey). The quotes are fast and fair and the work is always done quickly, efficiently and with good attention to detail. These guys are a pleasure to have in my home and will always be my first call.

Saying their service is excellent would be the understatement of the century. Every time I've had them do something for us it was above and beyond our expectations. You don't see too many companies these days fix things they notice for free in your home outside of the reason they were there in the first place. It's refreshing to see how much pride they take in their work. You really feel how much love they pour into wanting to make the customers happy. The icing on the cake above everything else though is how amazing they were with my curious young son on multiple occasions. They could have just shrugged him off and went about their business. Instead they happily played along with his many questions and actively engaged with him. It was unbelievably sweet. It made his day. He won't stop talking about how cool the man with the robot drill was. We will be customers for life albeit hopefully not for lots problems but I will be recommending them to everyone wholeheartedly.

First of all, we were very pleased with the professional service that we received. I initially phoned them to give us a price for a new high-efficient furnace. I had problems with our furnace and was told that we'd have to change this unit at a cost of 1800 dollars plus labor, so we decided on replacing our 14 year existing furnace for new one at a cost of over 6500 dollars. When the technician "Chad" arrived, he asked me what was happening and after 5 minutes he had diagnosed the problem and proceeded to repair the furnace. He had our furnace up and running in less than 30 mins. Our total bill for the repair was with taxes 83.99 dollars. We couldn't be more pleased and we would recommend Kamloops Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone who's having issues with their heating and cooling.

Well, it started off by getting the new furnace installed back in 2017. The furnace has worked fantastic, and is very efficient. I was promised a free 1 year service, so 1 year later I booked the service for a Monday, and no one showed up or called after to follow up. I left it be for 2 years because I procrastinate a tiny bit. I phoned in December 2019 for my free service and they were happy to offer the free service again. I booked the service and a gentleman showed up to do the work. He was polite, and punctual, which was a good start. Once he finished the work, which was the day before christmas, we all left for holiday celebrations. Well....... when we got home our house was sitting around 10 degrees celcius. It was something like 9pm christmas eve, so I knew it was going to be hard to get a hold of someone, but i tried. After a few minutes I got call back from Marc, and he was willing to help which was amazing considering the time and date, and we were both drunk. Turns out Marc forgot to turn the power back on to the furnace, and was only a few steps to get it operating again. All is good with the furnace now and I had a good chuckle at the whole situation. :)

One of the things that struck me about this company is they offer something that is very rare to find nowadays. Great service. Their staff was friendly, polite and very helpful. I had them install the AC, service my furnace and and check my hot water tank. I had four or five guys in and out of my house and they were all great. Ryan did the install of my AC and that day I was having trouble with a plugged sink in the kitchen, and Ryan even gave me a name of someone that could help me with that. Kamloops Heating and Air Conditioning just completed a 2 day installation of a heat pump & air conditioning. This was the toughest installation they had come across, as the maintenance room is very tiny, with very little room to maneuver. We have a forced air electric furnace which is very expensive to run, and decided to install a heat pump as well as air conditioning. The process started in January with ordering a custom coil for the world’s smallest plenum which arrived a couple of weeks ago, The crew was fantastic, and worked really well with each other. I was impressed they could explain how a heat pump works in laymen terms, so I could understand fully how it works, and how it saves us money. Vernon even took the time to program the new thermostat for our schedule, and tested the entire system before they left at 6:30 pm on a Friday!! Wonderful guys, great customer service, and a team that goes to the ends of the earth to make it work! I am so pleased and would recommend this company to everyone!!!

I give this company a FIVE STAR HIGH 5! My piping system to my furnace was rotted out. I phoned and spoke to Gary. As a senior, I tried to explain as best as I could the situation. He sent over two very nice staff members to evaluate what had to be done. It was late in the day so he scheduled his staff to do the repair the next day. The following day another two very nice staff members came to my house, stripped out the old piping and replaced it with new piping. They were fast and they were efficient. Yes ! I would recommend this company.

We first called in Kamloops Heating & Air Conditioning about a year ago to service our air conditioner and furnace in our, new to us, home. The AC needed to be replaced which we were fairly certain would be the case, but our furnace was also on its last legs. We decided to go with a full furnace/AC replacement and the work Sean and the team did was excellent. A year later we received our annual maintenance call and Sean came out and inspected everything and started up our AC for the season, all for free. Did I mention we are an hour away from their home base and we were not charged for the travel time either. My parents had the same service, replaced their heating and AC last year, follow up maintenance call this year and Sean noticed something that needed to be fixed and he will return to do that work, also free of charge and make a special trip to get it done. This company does excellent work and stands behind their products and workmanship. Highly recommend!

Awesome from beginning to end! Received their promo in the mail and called. Within a day or so Chad came to our house and looked over the situation. Our house is 52 years old so there were some challenges. That afternoon Chad emailed a detailed plan, equipment to be installed and an estimate. My wife and I discussed it and I phoned Chad to set up a date for installation of a furnace, air conditioning unit and a hot water tank. We did not get any other estimates. Chad was straightforward, and knew his stuff. No pressure. Our installation took place over three days, Monday, September 16, to Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Verner and Anthony were our installers. They were awesome! We are very pleased with the work they did installing the furnace, air conditioning unit and hot water tank. They were a good team. Being an older house, Verner had to problem solve running the air intake and exhaust pipes through the only joists available...to the front of the house. I was apprehensive. Verner is an artist and he did an excellent job. A subtle vent covers the pipes. A tree shields it as well. I am a fussy person...I am pleased with how it looks. Anthony quietly worked away at his tasks, installing new pipes, removing the old gas from the old ac unit and helping Verner. Anthony worked quietly and confidently. Verner’s workmanship was excellent. Rob, another employee, did the welding on the ac lines, and put in the new freezing gas. Verner and Anthony were at my house each morning before 8:30am. Eric, who works in the office, filled out the paper work for the Fortis rebate, and emailed it to me. I just need to complete it and email to Fortis. He also registered my Lennox furnace and ac unit with Lennox. I appreciate that they did this tidy up work. Michele, (spelled with one l), office secretary, provided me with brochures and with information over the phone. Very customer friendly. Our furnace runs so quietly. Hot water tank is giving us lots of hot water. Air conditioning unit will be put to the test next summer. Kamloops Heating and Air Conditioning has been awesome. We are happy customers!

I have had a fireplace insert re and re and now an outdoor natural gas heater installed by Gary and his workers. They were very professional, punctual and polite. I shopped around and I got the best quotes for both jobs from Gary as well. I would highly recommend this company.

We were very impressed with the service. The crew was respectful and efficient, the system is working well, and there were no extra charges beyond the estimate. The only suggestion is that the estimate document was hard for a layman customer to understand, for a couple of reasons: 1) The price for each outdoor unit included one indoor unit, and any units beyond that first indoor unit were referred to as additional units on a separate line in the estimate. This was not explained in the document and the number of indoor units per outdoor unit was not immediately clear upon reading the estimate. It would be helpful to break things out more clearly. 2) Pictures and a detailed description of the equipment, including how it operates and its heating/cooling capacities, etc., should also accompany the estimate so the customer can quickly see the appearance and operating features before committing to purchase. We had to search for that information online, and it would have been more effective to have something in print, from our point of view. I heartily recommend this company.

I would recommend this company. Tech Marc was on time, thorough on what he was doing and explained everything on what was going on with my furance and why the issues where going on. He recommended the parts I needed, showed me what they looked like and explained the pros and cons of either replacing the psrt or not. Never did any hard sales tatics. I would totally use this company again
