I had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with a flooded basement and needed all the downstairs carpet to be replaced. Because my home uses the same carpet throughout, the challenge was finding a comparable carpet of similar color, texture and quality. Because the original carpet was discontinued and no longer available, it was an exhaustive search to find something that would match the remaining carpet in my home. I visited multiple flooring businesses over several weeks and no one could help me find something that would work. After almost giving up hope, I was referred to Marty VanKeulen who is the owner of Carpet Studio. It took him less than 15 minutes to find a carpet that matched and I cannot be more thrilled with it! It was installed by the father/son team of Al & Kyle and these gentleman were fantastic and should be applauded for their attention to detail, workmanship, genuine concern and just being good people! Highest recommendation possible for Carpet Studio - I am a customer for life!

We ordered luxury plank flooring through Costco. We had purchased flooring before and had a very good experience. This time was quite different. There was a considerable wait time between ordering and installing, which was fine. We removed all the baseboards, carpets and had everything prepped pror to the install. Three men were here for six hours to install 800 sq. ft. Of flooring. We were charged $2932.00. At the end there were six and 9/10ths boxes extra or about $1000 worth of product. When we expressed our concern we were initially told that was the way it worked. We asked to speak with the manager and were told that wasn’t possible. In the end we were refunded $500 for 3 boxes and told the remaining amount was an industry standard for overage! I feel the company has acted very unprofessionally and after paying $7 per square foot for their product can only say we are very disappointed. We will never deal with this company again. Lesson learned. We will contact Costco directly to see if there is any resolution available.

We love the look and feel of Shaw’s Silver Oak LVP flooring. Chris Nurse and the installers, Ruben & Mike, were all a joy to have around and have done a marvelous job. Appreciate all their work, songs and attention to detail!!

We had an insurance claim. Carpet and lino. The lino was on order for 6 weeks and we found out that it wasn't even run. Then we had to choose anouther, add anouther week. We also had to carpet two rooms and choose to do all of the house. The master bedroom was done and a carpet has a ( line down the middle of the room) has never been addressed, even thought we have been promised. It's not even a seem. Great. No communication. Also promised $100 for damage to our wall down the stairs. stair recieved. Also paided for extra carpet. Over measure. Crazy. Contractors were great. Tried their best. No communication from office.

Stay away. Staff not knowledgeable, inexperienced and total waste of time. There are so many other tile great tile companies in the city. This one is not one of them. Went there because I got a coupon online. I wouldn't go back for free tiles. The lady receptionist was fantastic though, hence the lone star, although she deserves 5 stars.

Had some vinyl plank and carpet installed in my condo a few months ago. I wasn't goin to leave a negative review because everything was fixed after the 3rd return visit. But i know 2 other people who recently used them and had nothing but problems. First of all, they will give you a price and then come in and try and charge extra for everything little thing that comes up. Found the installer to be very rude. Sales lady mis measured my floor so was short on flooring. Costco sends you to these guys. My advice is buy the good Costco product but get somebody else to install it. Overall bad experience.

I was extremely pleased with the customer service and installation of carpet Studio employees/ product. We had a slight hiccup part way through the process and they went up and Beyond to correct and make everything right! I would definitely recommend the Carpet Studio to my friends and family!

Went through Costco for a flooring estimate and Carpet Studio rep came by to provide a "rough" estimate of total cost. I asked to have a detailed breakdown of the cost in writing via email to show my husband so we both could review the quote. Never heard back. So I contacted a different flooring company in Leduc who provided prompt service. Forget about using Costco for your flooring because they send you to these guys and I don't recommend it.

Great product, great service. We worked with Matt on a luxury vinyl tile product for a rental property. We chose a beautiful colour (Roasted Truffle) and had it installed throughout the property with precision and care. The team was friendly and efficient as well. Highly recommend! (Property rented very quickly!)

We are currently looking to buy carpet for our basement and fairly open to suggestion. Unfortunately, despite looking like they had great products, the customer service made me not want to give them our business. Even though I was the only customer in the store and the sales people were up front, and saw me when I walked in, no one came over to help. After about 15 mins I finally went over to ask for assistance and stood there until they finished their personal conversation. The associate didn't seem overly knowledgeable or able to suggest much based on my criteria. I think I got more info just from looking through the store on my own. When I asked about the underlay she suggested one kind and when I asked about another one she said she doesn't know enough about it so she "wouldn't sell it" to me. She never offered to write any info down or price it out, she couldn't tell me prices for items, didn't have any helpful answers to my questions, and generally seemed completely disinterested. I know if this was my business, I would want better trained sales people who act like they care, even a little, about their job.

We went through COSTCO and this is the company they use. Overall a very bad and frustrating experience. This company is probably fine if you have no warranty issues but they do not stand behind their products. Choose wisely!

I had the fortune to deal with Madison as my representative for dealing with the complete carpet and tile for my reno'd home. Not only was she spot on the money for pricing... she added a complete service in interior design. She new exactly what product to chose to match the 1970's revival that we were doing. On a side note: she gave excellent interior design advise on the side. Carpet Studio was extremely competitive in their price and their added value add-on service was amazing. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Although our flooring looks phenomenal at the end of the day. Sales was rude to me on several occasions. I didn't receive a follow up to see if we were happy with our floor installation, And although the installers told me the company offers flooring cleaner for life, I wasn't offered. Due to lack of customer service, I will be shopping somewhere else next time.

It’s a large professionally laid out show room. Amy is the salesperson that I dealt with and she was awesome. I highly recommend her if you’re gonna hit up the Carpet Studio for some new flooring. Great selection. Lots of stock. Can set up an install date if you can’t do it yourself. All bases covered. This place is the place to go anywhere in Edmonton.
