I initially called another company to look at my furnace. The guy was making a big fuss with how badly damaged my furnace was and said it would cost just as much to repair than buy a new one. He quoted $1,000 more than what Al's pricing is for a new furnace. I decided to call Al's for a second opinion and Steve came over to look at my furnace. He said the only thing that looked damaged was one part which could easily be replaced. Steve confirmed that the part was under warranty from the previous owner and helped me transfer the warranty to my name. A few days later, I have a like-new furnace again and the only cost to me was the labour. I can't thank Al's enough for being the better company when it comes to honesty and proper customer service. In my book, they deserve all the stars.
